- Thank you to Okuma for the amazing fishing gear! In this video, I unbox Okuma fishing rods and then test my luck in the Port Washington Harbor. Thank you to all of the cool people in Port Washington for helping us to get a fishing video.

I only use casting setups to chuck hardware on piers and float fish michigan tribs for salmon and steelhead. You can't beat them, nobody outcasts me on piers and with 8:1:1 reels I can finish my drift then be back out in seconds. Drag adjustment super fast and you can stabilize the spool to get "centerpin" like drifts, the only way to do it for me.
Yeah that was a good time. Always is. Right at dusk it always gets crazy. When I said "about to switch to night vision" earlier in the video, that means Glow Cleos at dusk. Guaranteed hits pretty much. It was cool being the "guy down there" that kept hooking up. Shoot me a message if you guys want to come out again some time. Was great fun.

I just got an Okuma salmon/steelhead 9' spinning rod and caught 2 kings on it yesterday in Chicago, including a 35" 20 pounder.
I had an Okuma reel for about 2 weeks once, it's now in the bottom of a SE Louisiana marsh after it fell out of my kayak and vanished in the weeds along with the brand new rod it was on. : (
