Duuude, honestly, you guys seem to know exactly what I’m working on and time your videos perfectly. I was out the last two days, giving my 360’s a break and going back to my favorite, throwing spinners. I’ve just never gone after salmon with spinners. Great, clear, concise instruction as always.

I’ve caught a lot of steelies on all brass spinners. But my favorite way to catch fish on spinners is to burn them at first light to where there blade creates a wake. The bass love it especially a Mepps with that fat blade. Love your content guys keep it up!!

Thank you Jordan. I found this video very helpful. I'm fishing from a causeway where the water flows perpendicular to it and is very fast-moving (being downstream from the Soo Locks). I can look 6-8' straight down and see dozens of Trout and Salmon, but I didn't know of a way to get the bait in front of them. The distance from the sidewalk to the water is about 10'. I'm going to focus today's efforts on using Spinners. We are only allowed to fish on the 'outlet' side of the causeway due to the fact that the pedestrian walkway is only on that side of the road. I will start by trying short casts at right-angles, and trying to pull the Spinner over them. The water is so fast that by the time you pull the bait back, you are pulling it up and out of the water.

great video on spinners. I don't have a boat to fish with like a lot of the video's I watch on your channel but I do have a kayak. I think it would be great if there was a way to get input from you guys on some places that a kayak would safe to use (no turbulent rivers etc) like the one in this video. I know you guys don't like to mention exact fishing locations and I get as a general rule but I think it would be a very useful thing to know for people like myself that don't have a fishing boat. Bank fishing can be difficult due to poor access to rivers. Anyhow, thanks for all the fishing knowledge you share with all of us fishing fans.

I would love to see a video that shows how to fish from the bank. I attempted this last year with spinners and had such a struggle retrieving and feeling like I was doing it correctly. The explanation was good. But I would love to see it in action. I was fishing from the bank and fishing very fast water. Keeping in the strike zone was very difficult. And I had to reel it fast to keep it off the bottom and kept feeling like I was reeling too fast to keep it in the strike zone. Very difficult to find that sweet spot.

You guys are the best most informative TH-cam channel for trout and salmon and explain things really well. One question I have is do spinners work well in rivers? I have a river down the street from me (Jordan river in Utah) and I’ve never been able to catch anything other than catfish at like 2:00 am I never fish rivers and have heard spinners work good but have always hated spinners mainly because I grew up bait fishing and my grandpa and dad only taught me to bait fish. I’d like to learn how to spinner fish better I have probably 200 spinners because of MTB but have never been able to catch anything on them. If you guys ever get a chance could you possibly do a shore fishing spinner bait tutorial? I’m kinda stuck on shore now I just picked up a 1964 seaflite boat but it wont be on the water until next year (hopefully) it doesn’t run but I’ve been working on it and think I’ll have it running for next years open water fishing but it’s been a warm year here I think we’ll be open water fishing here late this year. Do you guys do any ice fishing? That’d be some cool content. I just started Ice fishing a couple years ago but I dream about it all spring and summer until it’s finally Ice fishing season Utah has some amazing ice fishing and some amazing ice fishing tournaments I’d imagine if you guys do ice fish you guys slay em because of how much knowledge and how good you guys are.
