    3:20 I consider you as a really good rider, it's nice to know you also think that is a large jump... because it is. On video it doesn't look big but in person it is. When visited Whistler that was the only jump I was skipping on A-line and the wind always seem to blow through that spot. I don't feel so bad for skipping it now!

      Thank you bro, and yes the camera makes everything look smaller for sure! That jump is fast too... luckily all the jumps on A-line are built well so you already know you're gonna be fine with the speed you're carrying, but there are still a few intimidating take-offs in that trail for certain!
      Cheers for watching :)

    The amflow seemed to hold up to some really rough conditions there. Really hard to find proper riding reviews of the amflow models at the moment on youtube. Granted we all know it has a great battery and motor but im more interested in how it actually rides on a variety of trails. Its whats holding me back from dropping any money on it. DJI is a huge company so can only assume their warranty, service etc would be upto par as their other equipment and other wheel known brands. The reviews that are out there comparing the motor power and battery life seems to beat everything in both power and ride time. But if the thing rides like a costo $250 bike then whats the point? Hoping some of these types of ride characteristic reviews come out soon.

      @@willgreenfield Ah that's what I thought for flying.
      Well if the guy that owns it wants to sell it let me know! Ill buy it :D
      Does not seem to be quite ready to be sold in canada.

    Will, great riding. What do you think of the bike is it as good as the heckler sl and levo sl? Would you recommend going to 170 on the front? Thank you

    • @willgreenfield
      @willgreenfield  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Thank you! I haven't ridden a Heckler SL, but i have ridden a Levo SL and it feels very similar to ride, as they share similar geo etc... this thing just has a huge amount more power, and more battery life too, not to mention a load of other pro's... However with the bigger brands you're getting the years of experience, tried and tested products, amazing customer service etc... which is why i think some people are hesitant to consider Amflow because they're obviously so new to the market.
      Obviously it's still early days but honestly can't fault either of the Amflow models i've ridden so far, more travel would be nice for situations like these when you're lapping the bikepark, but for me, the majority of the riding in the UK will be fine with the standard suspension.
      Would defo love to stick a 170mm fork and a coil on it at some point though to see how it rides, would be a pretty significant change i think... but of course would increase the weight a little bit as well which is one of my favourite features of these bikes in the first place.
      anyway hope that helps a bit, and thanks for watching the vid... i appreciate it!

      @willgreenfield thanks for the reply. I can see rob has already built one with 170 forks and a dhx coil. Can you please ask him about uploading his review of that bike on the next podcast please!!!!!!

    Whats the differences between the silver/grey and the black amflow . Big price difference. Im toying with going for the one you are riding if not much difference. If you can ride whistler on it , I'll ride what i ride easily lol

    • @willgreenfield
      @willgreenfield  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@markwaughman2842 mainly just the spec, so the black one has carbon wheels, carbon bars, sram T type transmission, factory suspension etc... not essential upgrades at all but if you wanted the top spec, that is the one to go for!

    Any issues with the shock? One thing I don't understand with these frames is why they went trunnion when they had the space not to.

    • @willgreenfield
      @willgreenfield  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      No issues after a week in bellingham and whistler, and no issues on my personal bike after a few rides in the uk! I agree trunnion surprised me but all been fine so far 😎

    Do you not find it difficult if you need an extra crank pushing against the speed limiter?

    • @willgreenfield
      @willgreenfield  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      didn't happen too often on this trail really, but yes once you get past the limiter and need to pedal it is ofc not as nice as riding a normal bike, but as long as you know the speed limit u can anticipate when you're gonna need to crank harder than normal in circumstances like those!
