No one really killed Thanos. He had only been killed twice by Drax. In one, he instantly revived and killed him with a single blast, and when he saw Death in the other, he didn't even try to prevent it. Also killed God Emperor Doom. If Thanos had any extra power, he would have made Doom the dog.
