Seeing and hearing Steve again at the height of his powers as a young man reminds me that his unique and beautiful virtuosity served a singular and profound musical creativity of much greater importance...thank you for posting this...thank you, Steve Morse, for enriching our lives and singing for those lacking the power of your voice.
Steve’s improvised solo that begins just before 1:20 says it all. What a talent for the ages. Grateful I got to see him perform solo and with the Dregs on several occasions. Bloody brilliant.

I was at that show, at the Diamond club, excellent gig
I was there too. Awesome show. I saw Steve there a few times.
Finally seen a video this tour on TH-cam! I saw them in NYC at the Ritz and they were amazing!
Best time 38:22 ❤
Морс, как обычно превосходен, техничен и обоятелен.
Saludos desde Chile.
Van may not be Rod, but his Gina Lola Breakdown drum solo was big fun as phuck
1:25:02 он знал, что будет играть в DP
Really wish Fender were the ones to make his signature guitar and they recreated the "Frankentele" "how cool would that be" ?
Yeah, he also played a Fender Lead 1 & or 2 back in the day. Saw him and or the Dregs several times in Columbia & Charleston SC
Try a G&L Bluesboy .... gets damn close to the Frankentele tone ....
Can someone tell me what Steve Morse album this is?
47:00 Tumeni Notes ;)
