- In this video I compare the £800 Traxxas TRX6 Mercedes Benz G-63 AMG against the New £400 Cross RC Emo NT6
Having never driven either vehicle and not being sponsored in any way by either brand. I figured I was in a great position to fairly judge both trucks.

i bought a traxxas 6x6 and when got it out of the box i couldnt how cheap it felt for the money so its gone back and a cross rc on order :)
Great choice in my opinion, the Traxxas is good, but it should really be great! The fact that they cheated out on the wheels/tyres and steering servo really put me off…
The stock Canyon tires on TRX4 Sport are quite good. The TRX6 might have been created more for looks than performance.
I’m sure they will be perfect for different terrain, and they were great looking, but just not very soft and not Beadlocks
The Traxxas is 100% more expensive for you but only about 50% more expensive than the Cross RC in the US. I feel like that makes a big difference, especially when you factor in all the aftermarket support for Traxxas models. Both look fun though!
Not really, money is not my reason for choosing the NT6,
If money was no object I’d still choose the Cross RC.
I like the drivetrain better, like the body better, like the wheels and tyres better, it’s all a personal opinion obviously, but I’d hands down have the NT6 over the Traxxas

The TR six is lower than his different tires. The shocks are set up different do some adjustments so they’re close to the same and then test them.
The point of the test was to have both cars in stock form, both body’s were lowered fully on both rigs.
Everything else as it came out of the box (with the exception of swapping the body and wheels from another stock TRX6)
Both were great, both need some modifications in different areas and I would highly recommend both. But my personal favourite, regardless of price or box stock performance, is the NT6.
I’m not saying it’s the best, the most capable or the strongest, there’s just something about it, I really like it 😊
@@TimsRcsurgery I agree with you when you test them again spend that extra 400.00 on the cross and show people what they can get out of the Cross rc when they are at equal price points
Excellent comparison Tim my sentiments exactly I love my trx6 but it's still cost me the same in mods half the price for the cross rc you've got a beast and haven't reached the stock price of the trx6 this would be a fascinating comparison both modified Excellent video have a great day mate 👊
Exactly, can’t take it away from the TRX6, it’s a fantastic rig, but on this occasion, the NT6 stole my heart.

The diference in Tires made a diference in performance ❤ the TRX6 tires from Traxxas are good in wet!
Thank you, yes maybe just the tyres but regardless of the Traxxas performing a little better I would still choose the NT6, it’s an awesome truck ❤️

The nt6 still has my heart. From I bought the emoX 2 I don't know if I want anything else. Cross RC' range of 1/10 crawlers is unbelievable

Awesome video. I have the trx6 and love it, but I love the look of the crossrc 6x6
And not once did you mention in your description it was going to be box stock on both I can tell but the newbies will not have a clue
I kinda did, this is the 3rd video, 1st was the NT6, then I took a look at the TRX6 on the bench then out for a run with this…. It just continued on from the other videos

@@TheLilhulk1111 not a pain at all buddy, this is just a hobby and I happen to post my findings, the videos are a little rough around the edges (bit like myself) I’m dealing with health issues and just try and edit these and get the videos out when I can.
I forget to say and do lots of stuff but that’s how I roll 😂

It’s a Traxxas TRX6 belonging to a friend but the cantilever suspension is an upgrade and was hand made by himself

same tires on both are critical for a fair test
Not same tyres no, I used the stock tyres that came with the trucks, a friend lent me a set of slightly used tyres to save me scratching the new ones up.
Stock Traxxas wheels on the Traxxas, stock cross rc on the NT6
This is like comparing apples to oranges. The cross at6 would be a fair comparison

My only issue that stops me from picking up that Cross RC, is that they use a proprietary steering servo I think. It's not easy (or possible?) to change it.
You are mistaken, I swapped the steering servo out before I even used this for the first time. Go back a few videos and you’ll see me swap it out

@@paulm1237 the diff lock servos are an in between size but not difficult to get nor are they expensive.. the AGFRC B26CLM servo is a direct replacement 👍
sadly with shipping the nt6 is only 80usd cheaper than the trx6 for me

@@TimsRcsurgery no, that one's even worse. Toucan hobbies Amazon I can get it with free shipping but it's 630 but the TRX6 is 650 to 680 everywhere. Free shipping then of course we have a 7.5% sales tax on top of any of the pricing. AliExpress and a couple of others all might sound cheap but they're charging upwards of 161 US shipping

@@TimsRcsurgery you right, that was temporary error in aliexpress. For a while alie system badly count golden coins and translate it into eur currency with weird level. They removed my order. Sadly. Can You record a video about mn82 and nt6 ? Chinese cheap 1:12 (1:14 really) vs chinese cheap in 1:10.
