The quality of this r/c can be heard, felt, and seen the moment it gets into motion. It is the smoothest, quietest, and stable platform I own. It is my first Arrma r/c and I am completely satisfied with it.
I absolutely love mine. Super super tough, handles amazing, fast as usual. I've already put around 20 packs through it and have had no issues. It definitely handles more like the 6S Mojave rather than the 3S Senton. They are completely different trucks. Everyone that's driven them both can agree! The Mojave 4S is definitely my favorite rig
Do you know how hot the motor gets? Wondering if the motor would stay cool in my DBpro… it’s 5lbs lighter so I’d hope it’d be a walk in the park for the motor
I love mine , no regret buying it . And I love those big bore shocks , they just look awesome. U wont go wrong buying it, and you are right the esc and motor are great. No hop up or upgrade needed straight out of the box . The only thing you need to do is blast it .
I have the same system in both of my Tekno race cars👌 Looks like competition for ol Traxxas. I think these, the UDR, and the Ray could make for an entertaining class 🤔😁
This truck is my favorite purchase of the year!! I agree with everything you said about it! I wont change anything on mine. Its perfect just the way it is!
Thanks for starting out doing some speed runs on the pavement! We all know this thing will be a tough off road and jumping basher. I’m more interested in how fast it goes stock out of the box. That thing hauls a$$! Great review as usual, Mark. 😎
I have the 6s Mojave. Absolutely fun, but needs specific areas to run it properly. Would you say this 4s one is more versatile with areas to run? I was at first liking the white livery but after seeing your video I really love the blue and red. I was also looking at the Raptor R for bashing around, but I imagine this Mojave is on a different level. Thank for this review.
Another awesome video! Love your channel and your reviews (: also the fact that you have more rc's than most hobby shops but you take care of them all like you only own one is so nice to see! Tired of people just taking them out and trying to destroy them...drives me crazy lol so thanks! 👊😁👍
This truck make me happy this is ultimate basher I love driving it. Thanks arrma ! That center diff 🙌 I want more arrma 4s with center diff products. sold my widemaxx for this beast. Worth it imo no upgrades needed. 👍 arrma killed it with this machine. 🔥 arrma tough. Thanks mark for this video. Great video like always. 💯
@@MarkSantaMaria yea man your Coyote is very nice. White black combo is sweet. Can we get video of you driving around in the mustang? Like pov test drive. That would be awesome. What do you think of the new mustangs s650? With pac man taillights lol
Is it really an all new platform? It looks like an all new size. I wish they had gone the more scale route with the solid rear axle, but that’s not really Arrma’s thing.
@@jasonwilliams74 that’s not the same though, the arrma 3S and 4s cars are so durable because they are majority plastic, meaning it flexes instead of bending. Also basically can just go with a Rey if you want scale realism for the price
Looks like a TON of fun! Although my SCT410.3 may turn into our primary basher, in light of Tekno's new SCT coming out 😁👍 Thanks for sharing Mark! Love your content as always
The new Tekno SCT is the best SCT in this scale currently since the Senton 6s. The reason more people aren't going for it is the parts availability. Hobby shops mainly carry Traxxas and ARRMA. My LHS does those two with Redcat. Well, that, and price. As high as Traxxas and ARRMA is, Tekno is considered top tier premium, so the price reflects it. Hoboa doesn't get the sales like the big two either. Convenience of local availability. Obviously.
Great review again! Go with udr if you have deeper pockets and want realism but for the price this Mojave def looks like it can stand on its own plus it looks sweet. . I may get one!
Udr can’t go toe to toe with Mojave!!! just cost more and more realistic…. Mojave drives better “ more durable “ stronger diffs all around a better build! So tired of traxxas and Armma being compared…. Traxxas are fun and great beginner RCs…. But Arrmas are what u want if your getting into RC…. But it’s all my opinion so whatever 😂
The reason i would go with this over the UDR for bashing is because the UDR is tough to work on. If i plan on just ripping through fields and showing it off, the UDR might be the way I go.
I wonder if there's a way to keep the front end down lower. Maybe put heavy-ish diff oil in the center diff? I'm sure it's losing tons of traction as well as speed as the rear end is doing most of the work. On turns the car leans a lot too. Diff oil could decrease that, as well as playing around w/ different shock adjustments. But man, if I had the money, I wouldn't care about that front end problem; I'd buy it. Looks like loads of fun!
Kinda looks like an upscaled version of the 3s chassis wise with more support and the plastic makes it lighter but you said it felt kinda heavy so wondering how well it can handle some bashing
Thanks for the video Mark. You recently reviewed the Losi Baja Ray 2.0. I prefer the 'HeatWave' styling of that but this Mojave feels like a 'Super Senton' 😀 Which one would you recommend for gentle bashing and high speed fun?
I feel like any type of bashing escalates pretty quickly... hahaha! You cant go wrong with either, however this truck is faster since it can run on 4s.
@@MarkSantaMaria ... thanks for responding dude. I love the looks of the Heatwave but after owning a Hammer Rey, I've found out what a pain in the ass these Losi designs can be for maintainance. As you say, this Mojave is faster and it just looks a lot easier for cleaning and fixing. Cheers 👍
I don't know much about RC cars. I noticed the nose coming down on a couple of jumps, is this something you did or naturally it did that? I ask cause in one instances I even saw it go down and then up, leading me to believe you got some mad skills in controlling this thing mid air even though it has no rudders like a plane etc.
I love mine, but the body sucks in my opinion it split and cracked in multiple areas off of crashes less than yours also the rubber piece broke off on the 2nd run. After the body splits the body will fold down forcing the wheels into the body and it gets stuck off of small jumps, very annoying.
@@MarkSantaMaria Thank You, Mark. Yes I definitely got the track pedigree of the Tekno. I certainly don’t have that experience at all. But another channel (Brett from AMain) presented this rig like it can handle bashing as well because its overbuilt as he says, for a 10th scale. I don’t know. You guys have me sold on it even if its pricey after all the assembly, electronics and other parts.
Not sure if you will see this one so long after the video being put up but why so much RTR content lately? I came for the 1/8 off-road content. I’m not complaining I was just curious why the lack of race content of late
I see it! hahaha! As the year comes to an end there are less big races and with school and the holidays, its tough to get out. I have also been having a blast with the new SCT410 2.0 ;)
This ARRMA 4S platform (Kraton/Outcast/Mojave 4s) is interesting because it put an intermediate step between the 3S lineup and the 6S lineup that did not previously exist. This particular truck is 1/8 scale by size but really I consider it on a large/extended chassis 1/10 platform. Similarly I think ARRMA's 1/7 scales are really just extended chassis traditional 1/8 platforms. It's like the ARRMA 4S platform is to the 3S platform as the ARRMA 6S-1/7 platform is to the 6S-1/8 platform. Ultimately, I suppose more options are better than less. At the price point though, I would go for the Typhon 6S...far better value, performance, durability, and it can run the same terrain as the Mojave 4S. However, Typhon is a buggy, and Mojave is a scale-ish truck, and people like their trucks (I mean hey, I like my trucks too!).
The quality of this r/c can be heard, felt, and seen the moment it gets into motion. It is the smoothest, quietest, and stable platform I own. It is my first Arrma r/c and I am completely satisfied with it.
It’s crazy how smooth and quiet it is
Love jumps over the sidewalk with that classic save! BIG ROCK next!
I love that jump too... it shows how the car handles in the air and has a nice subtle landing

it is slowly climbing my charts of my RC of the year

6s mojave is hands down my favorite rc vehicle and i cant wait to pick up a 4s
I love mine. It’s really a great all around rig. Even the stock steering servo is quick and has a lot of torque. I couldn’t be happier with it.
How’s the durability, I have a Traxxas Hoss and it is trash. Looking to replace that soon.
@@bmiller8613 I’ve crashed it pretty bad a few times, gone end over end all the way down a hill, jumped it 6’ in the air, no damage to report.

Gr8 going MSM
Love you.
Wish you all the success
Im surprised he has a rc other than traxxas im truly surprised 😮😮😮😮
This means that this car is really that good. 😂
Another man emotional about what another man is doing. Not a good look. Clearly stated for attention. He literally shows genuine love for all brands
I bet the new tekno SCT is better
Well he does live really close to Traxxas HQ
Does Traxxas offer a 4s UDR?

Arrma makes great stuff
Arrma bodies look SOOOOOOOO much better than the fugly Traxxas designs!!!
Totally agree with you , and Traxxas cost more than Arrma over here at Singapore .
I really want one, the arrma mojavi looks like an epic add for a collection
We are going to start a 1/8 sct class at our local 1/8 scale track. Enough of buggies and truggys. Let's go Sct!! Lol
SCT is super underrated
finally a ARRMA
Great vid. I have a Kraton 4s with that same power system, and it really hauls. Cool looking rig! Bash on!!

That would be neat to see how they would develop a rear solid axle vehicle 💯
And traxxas never rehashed any of their RCs, oh no they have never done that before.
Well I mean, they have the losi Rey Vehicles to cover the IFS and solid/trailing axle niche
Or you could build your own from element parts GSK and IFS2 ,frame, trans and power of your choice
