I’m pretty sure the reason your getting the effect you want out of the auto tune is bc your turning the key like way off of what the song is so it’s over correcting. That’s why it gets that super auto tune sound. I could be wrong though. I know a little bit of music theory but can’t tell by ear what key your beats in. Good stuff though dude. Keep goin.
