Yarn Hoarder has a super content RICH podcast. And she recommends great things that help us. Her reviews are so great.. her personality is just so welcoming ,fun and she is so exciting. We laugh we learn we enjoy. She is so amazing, inclusive, love her travel stories. Only person I know who ran over a couch on the interstate in my home state! And her car broke in Chicago ..so funny. She make amazing lemonade out of lemons. She is a gift to all of us!

What a lovely interview! May I say that my husband finances my yarn habit and I don't have a job that pays me any income otherwise, but I don't let that deter me! (Actually, I'm on a kick to knit Random Acts of Kindness to send to people and am doing the knitting from my stash that has built up in the scant four years that I have been knitting.) Amber, you are one of my favorite knitting podcasters (is there another kind?), and I can tell you the reasons why I hit "subscribe" that may be some of the reasons why your podcast has been so warmly received. Your laugh fills a room (and when I am alone - relocated in January and am still trying to find my community - I feel like a true friend is here with me). You are enthusiastic and encouraging - of your children, of the makers whose products you touch - and this extends right to the viewer! You have a grateful heart and spirit - which can be seen as you speak so lovingly of your husband wearing anything you knit him and how you express yourself when makers send items for your giveaways or for you to keep. You are generous with your gifts - both the internal ones with which you have been blessed and the external ones, and your generosity has passed on to your children; we have seen it directly in your daughter's contributions but know that it exists in your son too (how could it not?). You are humble and are a tremendous example of a servant leader, like when you give of your time to help makers by working their booths at fiber festivals; we know you enjoy it but you give so willingly and help so many. These are the reasons you attract so many viewers, as I see them. I'll look forward to the next episode (and am going to enjoy checking out more of Kristy Glass Knits podcasts too)!

Yes, I would like to see that 3rd floor! In my childhood home, my room was on the top floor in the back. Definitely an attic dweller. Funny my hubby's childhood room was in the basement. And Amber's laugh - yup, thats why we watch her. She is amazing and I was honored to meet her in Chicago this year at Stitches.

OMG...two of my favorite people!!! Amber, I've been watching your podcast since early this year and Kristy...love your podcasts always. Hoping to get to Rhinebeck this year...seems all my favorite podcasters will be there. And WEBS...I really need to make a trip there. I went to school at Smith College just up the road from 2002-2005 but wasn't knitting at the time so it wasn't on my radar and didn't even know it existed. Probably a good thing...I wouldn't have gotten too much studying done if I had known. Having a daughter who lives in Chicago (and a son-in-law who works for the Cubs) I'll close with GO CUBS!!! I am so jealous of of her yarn room. I would love to come see her room. I am still a beginner knitter. I stopped when first started and picked it up again hated it again. Then I picked it up and my first scarf looked like crap. Gave it to my mom because she had i art wall. I have been knitting since the mid 2000s and just now I have made a scarf that I made for my friend that i am very proud of and it’s my best one yet. I also made a loom hat to go with it. The hat looks crap. The stitch I wish I was good at is the purl stitch

I am a veterinarian and i have a male feline patient named Lola. Same thing, they got him when he was little, and as you know, determining the gender of a kitten can be....hard. but alas, he had become used to his name by his first check up came around, so 12 years later, he is still Lola and they still occasionally call him a "she". Oh well.

Amber is great and her laugh is so infectious, I've been watching her podcast since she started her channel and she is one of a handful of podcast/channels that I will actually watch an episode more than once so the views compared to the subscribed might not be off by that much. I am so jealous of of her yarn room. I would love to come see her room. I am still a beginner knitter. I stopped when first started and picked it up again hated it again. Then I picked it up and my first scarf looked like crap. Gave it to my mom because she had i art wall. I have been knitting since the mid 2000s and just now I have made a scarf that I made for my friend that i am very proud of and it’s my best one yet. I also made a loom hat to go with it. The hat looks crap. The stitch I wish I was good at is the purl stitch

I am a veterinarian and i have a male feline patient named Lola. Same thing, they got him when he was little, and as you know, determining the gender of a kitten can be....hard. but alas, he had become used to his name by his first check up came around, so 12 years later, he is still Lola and they still occasionally call him a "she". Oh well.
