Boycott Tucson. I live here and Matisyahu was treated terribly. The Rialto gets federal grants and caves to anti semitism. Mayor Regina Romero and the city council and the chamber of Commerce. In fact with only a couple of exceptions most elected officials from Tucson and Pima County have been silent' Please spend your money elsewhere. If you plan on vacationing here cancel your plans. This is no longer the caring city it claims to be. BOYCOTT TUCSON!

ok no hate to mathew, but he says put "down" ur flags....then brings flags on stage. to me this is a bit of hypocrisy. i agree with him about the music and its ability to melt away negativity. the last time i checked the rastafari and generally reggae music is anti-collonialism. i dont know what mathew's views are on collonialism but saying things like Palestine doesnt exist (which he has been quoted as saying) seems confusing and incongruent. For any intelligent music lover who understands the finer points of art, the Matisyahu show in vegas was very confusing for me. GREAT music.....but a muddled and incoherent presentation of very very political ideologies. It should be noted that the show drew a promarily jewish or at least pro israel pro IDF media centric audience. I feel that most of these people didnt even hear the music. Rather they heard their own slef agrandisement and and bandwagonism being echoed back to them. I highly doubt that any of this is Mathews true intent. I believe he is genuine, but a bit unaware of the conflict his positioning potentntial collonialist views against a lush intoxicating musical backdrop of anti collonial artistic stylings. it will no doubt result in a SPIKE in his visibility and substantiality on the current socio-political-music scene. its not for me. I felt like i was at a religious revival, my musical vulnerabilities being sold out for the market price of a hot buttone political theme.
