Was my favorite artist in middle school 15+ years ago and I still feel such a connection hearing him speak so openly.

Great interview. I had the privilege of guesting at two of his shows on his winter tour last year and got to spend a few minutes with Matis. Just a great guy and a crazy talent.

What a great interview, I could have listened for hours more. I really find the journey Matis has been on is fascinating and as he says he's always tried to be authentic. I think he has a lot of courage to be vulnerable enough to talk about some of the subjects he does I his music. Thank you Matis

I love you brother Mattys! I left Poland in 2004 to go to Yeshiva T.A. in Baltimore. It was the same year I heard your music for the 1st time and I remember thinking how cool that was that there was someone like you Religious and sooo cool in the same time! My mother remembers you from the Nozyk Synagogue in Warsaw. Peace and Love!

I always heard that the album light was based on the Seven Beggars by Rabbeinu but never got full confirmation until Matis said it hear. It's his best album and the deepest for sure.

I love thunder and Tel aviv’in my Two favorite tracks from Matisyahu , Thunder song has that stream of consciousness speaking of future, Matisyahu you’re born a leader and made yourself great, always representing something having to be felt what you were experiencing during that era, you never turned you’re back on Jewish people and by our side, Thank you Matisyahu for being yourself. 💪 Hope you find strength and a feeling of content. While a person experienced Feeling pain, sub consciously broadens your ego, remember that.

I am a gentile believer in Yesh'ua (Jesus) grew up a number of avenues from Borough Park Brooklyn. I Love the Lord and all people even enemies. I cling to God because Like it's says He is our life and length of days basically all we have is His. Love that song and video Sunshine. Look to sky keep your eyes on the prize. Thank you our Jewish brother and friend. Love Israel all Jews and as a veteran who does not receive monthly monetary funds from the Veterans Administration Love our constitution as when King Hezekiah clean up judah and Jerusalem When the servants of the King of Assyrians telling King Hezekiah says let's us take to a land like yours. No this. Country is the people's. Get the message of what Our Founders saying protect it from any form of tyranny from within and without. Thomas Irvine. 63 grateful man.

If you are raised with any awareness of Jewish values and life views then you have a lens through which to see the world that is distinctly Jewish and not of other world views.

so annoying when the interviewer interrupts a guest ... even to say yeah yeah as if to show that they're like friends. Why can't interviewers just be silent until the guest has finished what he or she has to say.

This is a sad conversation for me, Mattisyahu used to be observant, and then secularized and even performs on Shavath...
    🔥💔🤲🏽💙🔥
To truly "Stand" with "Israel" is to do YaH's Straightness... its that simple...
I hope that his journey was to depart from the traditions of men, and to return to pure love and obedience to our Father, Alahaynu.
We are not "Jews" we are (YaH)udym and Apharym!
    Blessings!
Shama Yshar'AL YHUH achad YHUH achad!!
    Ahavath athah YHUH Alahaynu!

Very interesting! Matisyahu admits that his whole Journey and the level he has reached is a reward from Hashem. It is a shame that he abandoned some of Hashem's Mitzvas. You can see he definitely has a burning Neshamah that has taken a detour. I hope he can fully embrace hashem and bring back some of that innocent music he originally created.
