Snorkeling with Manta Rays & Wild Dolphins in Nusa Penida Bali 🇮🇩 Indonesia Travel Vlog

- In this Indonesia Travel Vlog, we decided to sign up for a tour to go snorkeling with manta rays in Nusa Penida! In our last video we were able to watch people snorkeling with mantas from the Manta View cliff and it looked amazing! We decided that we really wanted to experience this for ourselves! We found a tour close to the pier in Nusa Penida that was 200,000 Rp each ($13.23 USD). There were two options: a morning tour or an afternoon tour. As we already had plans in the morning, we decided to do the afternoon tour at 2pm. We met at the place where we paid for the tour and they drove us to the pier where we joined many other people who were on the same tour. The tour was supposed to stop at 4 points (Manta Bay, Cristal Bay, Gamat Bay, and Toya Pakeh Point). We ended up only going to 3 of the 4 stops as some people on the tour had to catch the ferry back to mainland Bali. We were also confused as the tour we did didn't go to the same Manta Point that we had seen from the cliff. Apparently there is more than one location for the manta rays. We drove about 20 minutes to the first stop and the guys in charge told us that instead of manta rays there were wild dolphins! They said that manta rays are scared of dolphins, so the mantas would have left, but we were able to jump in and see over 10 wild dolphins! It was amazing even to see them so close to the boat! Then we drove just a couple minutes away to the second stop where there were two manta rays! We were able to snorkel very close to them which was so amazing! They are so huge and they glide through the water unlike anything we've ever seen! Unfortunately at one point Carles got stung by a jellyfish! Luckily the guys on the boat had something to put on it to stop it from stinging so much. We then went to the final location were there were lots of colorful fish in the water. It ended up being such a great trip and we are still amazed by the manta rays and dolphins! (If you do a manta ray snorkel tour, try to go in the morning as they said they saw many more manta rays in the morning than in the afternoon)!

Again, its a nice vlog ❤️. But i know u want some more than just snorkelling w/Dolphins n Mantas. Yeah, vinegar can deal jellyfish stung, thats why i always have a bottle of it in my backpack on my sea trip.
If u guys have plan to visit Raja Ampat on October 11, my team already booked by 6 Ausies for 3 days trip, i can save 2 seats for u, n i have a big surprise for Carles 😊🤟 (spoiler alert : sharks n sea turtles 😊). My team offer the cheapest trip but bigger experience. We never spent night on fancy room like hotels but just tent n campfire.
Ahhhhh that sounds like such an amazing experience!!!! We REALLY want to go to Raja Ampat! But unfortunately in October we’re going to be in Mexico 😱

You can't also swim with whale shark on Sumbawa island on saleh bay is not so far from Bali than kalimantan or for more adventure you can take 4 days boat trip from Lombok island to komodo national park at day one you will get in saleh bay sumbawa and swim with the whale shark so many video in TH-cam for your recommendation try to type 4 days boat trip from Lombok to labuhan bajo komodo national park

Go to Gili islands in Lombok atau Raja Ampat atau Bunaken (please googling) snorkelling there is more amazing, because their underwater life is crowned as the most beautiful in the world.

Wow what a cool experience! Maybe the mantas scared with the dolphins coz the dolphins are way smarter and rarely swims alone, I saw like 7 dolphins @4:10, then realized the video is short on this one but I really enjoyed it! ❤
There were so many dolphins! 😍 aww yeah this video was shorter as it was just our boat trip. It wasn’t enough to film a big video, but we wanted the memories still because it was amazing! 😍 we’re posting a longer video today from Makassar 🥰

I think the one we used was called Dolphino Snorkeling? But honestly there are manta ray snorkeling tours allllll over the island - you won’t have an issue finding one! We would’ve asked around more if we had more time, but ours was still good! I bet your family would have the most amazing time snorkeling with them!!! 😍 we didn’t make it to Komodo island this trip (hopefully next time 🤞) but we’re about to start posting our videos from Sulawesi! 🥰

Great video!! Do you recommend going snorkeling in the morning than the afternoon? Also did you happen to see the local rates for private boats?
I think the morning would be a lot better! Even on the day we went, they saw a lot more in the morning than on our tour.
Unfortunately we didn’t see anything about private boats.. if you have a hotel booked already I’d recommend messaging them and asking what info they have on rates, etc!
