Flash Facts:
- Remember the cage in the first episode with the White Steel Eel? That green stuff was NOT just a water BUT shinsu like the one Lero Ro used in this episode.
- Shinsu is the equivalent of Nen from HunterxHunter in this series. You can do CRAZY things with it. The dude that sleeps all the time WILL mention more about it later this season.
- Remember the blue turtle's FULL name? Khun Aguero Agnes. The author himself, in the notes after each chapter of the manhwa mentions tidbits about characters. Khun's name was inspired by the football player Sergio "Kun" Aguero. The author REALLY likes football, as he stated in one of these notes.

Shinsu is kind of like a combination of Nen and Sage Chakra from HunterxHunter and naruto respectivley
Shinsu is not like nen.. It is more like mana since it is everywhere and the source of energy for all things.
Not really the same as nen. Shinsu is a substance needed for life in the tower. And those who climb it learn how to manipulate it to fight.

many characters in this series have a long name and based on many different languages. so it's really hard to spell lol
For any anime only there were a few names that Lero-Ro dropped when talking to bam about irregulars if u don’t wanna see don’t look but it’s part of the same part. When bam asked are all irregulars bad Lero says something along the lines “no however the irregulars that came here such as Urek Mazino, Enryu, and Phantaminum were sooo powerful that irregulars became feared.” Thats all
I think they are doing it on purpose now. For the anime cause those characters doesn't appear or they are gonna use it later cause it's obvious now with yuri and now Lero ro and i don't mind much as long aa they are able to give those name proper introductions.

I didn't even felt like it was short. That's mostly due to me just appreciating each scene.
It wasn't because Bam is irregular, he is simply mega resistant to shinsu pressure. The eel in the first episode was swimming in concentrated shinsu but Bam walked in there like it was air.

Heya guys! I'm glad you guys are enjoying Tower of God like we did when we first read it on Webtoon! Trust me, everything will be answered to you within this season if done correctly and I promise you that things will get so much more better in the story and character development this season but also in season 2 and 3! To clear up confusion for you guys without spoiling the story, Irregulars are people who were born outside of the tower. Generally, they explained the layout of the tower pretty well but I hope they can explain a bit more in the future for you guys to understand. Irregulars are people who were able to open the doors of the tower by themselves and defy natural law of the tower and are not chosen by the Tower itself (God) and Headon, the caretaker of the tower. They don't follow the rules of the tower basically and throughout history, Irregulars are pretty damn strong and tend to cause change in the tower everytime one enters. Everyone in the tower are Regulars since they were born in the tower and are invited or chosen by the Tower or Headon, people who opened the door by themselves and ignore rules of the tower are Irregulars. To clear up confusion, Bam as of this episode is the only Irregular on this floor, will we meet more? We will find out soon. I'll let you guys decide who Bam is and use this information to piece together the lore of the tower and everything in the story so far. This is going to be a hell of a ride!

Irregulars are not as common as you think xD, the ppl who could get through the wall so easily are just "strong" people, and for strong I mean for mere regulars.
The symbol on Black march and the green whip like weapon that the lizard girl uses has some really huge lore implication for the "king of the tower".

In the next episode or fourth episode they will show you positions that you can take depending on how you fight and it will teach you more about Shinsu and how it’s used. Also when you become super strong you can live forever so there is a TON of lore in this anime. Just something to think about and pay attention to.

Irregulars only appear in the tower like once in a lifetime. I’m a hundred chapters into the WEBTOON of this anime and I only know of one irregular other than Bam.

You mentioned something about the meaning of Anak. Many names in this series have tidbits about their character represented by their names. A comment mentioned Khun Aguero Agnes being a nod to the famous football player, and there are so many other names that relate to the story of the world. It's very interesting.

as of right now, we know bam entered the tower by himself, so he is most likely an irregular. also, i don't think being an irregular particularly answers why bam wasn't affected by the shinsu, but rather he has similar qualities of an irregular that makes him resist the shinsu. we saw others that easily passed through the shinsu, so bam has something that is powerful enough to subconsciously resist shinsu, whereas others has to focus to resist it. (btw, i know everyhting about bam and this series, but i am saying these things to give you guys hints.)

11:25 It's not that they are irregulars, you don't have to be. Shinsoo is essentially magic: some people are born with the ability to handle it, some people don't. You can train if you have the ability, but if you don't, nothing can be done. Kinda like quirks in My Hero Academia. The people who walked through are strong in the sense that they are able to handle highly condensed shinsoo (aka magic). The people who struggle to get through aren't. People tend to hang up on the luck part, but what follows is the important bit: luck to be born strong. Essentially what he is saying is that the world is unfair, not everyone is born with the talent to even have a chance to climb the tower. Those who can't even handle this shinsoo barrier have no chance in hell to exist on the higher levels, much less to efficiently climb it. This has nothing to do with training, this is all about latent potential: you are born with it. It's either there or isn't. You can't acquire it.
Note that even the strongest of regulars in there got pushed back. Bam didn't even notice that the barrier went past him. He was completely unfazed by it. Make of that what you will.
I want you both to know that being an irregular is like a 1/100000 chance.
