In terms of the pocket three, I feel like it is a better fit for those that are going to be doing a lot of indoor shooting also those who will not be worried about the elements like rain or snow. The action five is for those people that want to Vlog with a lot of outside locations. It is extremely durable. Also, the batteries are interchangeable.

Almost all my content has been shot on GoPro. The last year pocket 3. I love the small form factor of action cameras. Might wait another year just to see how much better the lowlight gets. GoPro is dead to me when comparing what dji has accomplished now. Congrats on getting monetized! Now you feel the pain when something like parking costs is more than a video makes on ads revenue 😂
I would have to agree about Go Pro, I feel like they just didnt evolve like everyone else. Its an exciting time to be making videos with all of this amazing gear

I knew the DJI Action 5 Pro was good for this! You used it exactly how I intend to use it with the exception of strapping it on for a bike ride or kayaking. Its a win for me. Great video!

Hey Appreciate that! Here are my settings 24FPS DLOG M, 4k, Auto ISO range 0.3EV and ISO 100-800, Image Adjustment - texture -2 and noise reduction -2, and then I added a LUT by LILA which is in the description, the lut is called "Basic Bitch". Hope that helps! Auto White Balance
I have to say watching your video new come across really well and down to earth. Have you thought about doing personal vlogs. I think you would be quite good at that. I have never heard of the term empty nester before which I saw in your channel description. I didn't realise I was an empty nester lol
You know that is actually what I wanted to do, but I didnt get a lot of views, and then one day I talked about a camera and that really caught on. As much as I do love cameras, it isn't cheap to keep buying them, hopefully one day they'll send them to me. My goal is to Vlog but make Vlogs and talk about the cameras at the same time
It's a great camera. Out of all the cameras I have had including the pocket 3 I think it's the one I am most happy with. Can I just make an observation as well please. I was always advised by other TH-camrs that it is good manners or something like that, that if you use a clip from somebody's channel or give them a shout out do you actually put something in the description or on your video to point towards their channel. It's nice to see that you did it and you'd be surprised how many people don't bother doing it.

I've had a few conversations with fellow TH-camrs who have been doing it for quite a few years and we all say that not enough people give shoutouts or link to channels or anything like that these days. Back in the early days lords of people used to give shout outs and help promote other channels. There was definitely a bigger community feel to it

Hey thanks bud - I'd say if you are going to try to record in public in a loud restaurant or in a city in traffic, then its kind of a must, but if you're going to be just running around less noisy areas, it isn't the end of the world if you don't get it. I'd say go without first and then if you feel like its not good enough you can get it later

I have nd filters but I don’t ever use them. When I am running and gunning, it’s a little too time consuming. If I had more time to set up the shots I would try to do it.
Yes I think it would be great for that. I would use Rock Steady Plus or horizon balancing as the stabilization mode. Also I would make the videos during the day when there is sufficient light.
I have no clue why youtube keeps serving your videos, but they're fun lol. Also gives me ideas for camera angles for the pocket 3/action 4 when making vlog style content.

So it really depends on your channel. The 3 main cameras I use are the Sony ZVE1 for full frame. The pocket 3 and the Action 5 for vlogging. If you vlog only then yes the action 5 works.

Thanks for watching - I always get the best results when I use the following settings AUTO with a range - -0.3 EV with ISO 100-800, 24 FPS 16x9, DLOG M and then use the REC 709 lut that you download from the DJI website, or I think you can apply the LUT in the DJI Mimo Appp. Image adjustment, Texture -2 and Noise Reduction -2. See if that helps
Use mine with an Action 4 for moto vlogging and travel, brilliant kit, so easy to use…new Mini mic makes it even better but the 2 is very good. You need to take your wife out for lunch🤣. PS. Good editing, you must be a pro😉
*Action Camera's are quickly becoming the IT camera's because it requires minimal setup and Minimal Gear and it just works and I think people should look at these for more then just action*
to be honest, all of my issues are with the goPro 10, 11, and 12. 1) The cameras have always been unreliable for me, they don’t always work when I need them to. 2) The low light has always been bad, and every review I have seen says the low light in the 13 is bad as well. 3) The battery life just doesn’t compare to the DJI. 4) ability to connect the DJI Mic 5) I have had overheating problems with GoPro’s in the past

It sucks action 5 does not record in 9:16 ratio. Thats why I got the pocket 3 and action 5.

Tell us five things you hate about GoPro ? I wanna go in for the 13 . Although I got the Osmo 4 x 2

I use my Dji Action 5 for day time filming only - in low light or night it's atrocious. My pocket 2 so much better for night time filming.

@ no I shoot for other creators on short forms like IG and TikTok, etc. Not really TH-camrs per se. But I’m trying to connect with other people because I’m going to try to make more time to make videos here.
