      If a nation can not solve it's own problems, do not expect the international community to help. They will fuel conflict instead of helping. Further more, Rwanda can not keep quiet while FDLR/Interahamwe are active in DRC territory. Just brief background: in 1994, the Habyarimana regime and its soldiers and materials fled to Zaire and started training to destabilise Rwanda. This regime committed genocide against tutsis.They were based near Rwandan border and Zaire. This is the root cause.

Rwanda is more focus benefiting from rich mineral resources than to fight or track those criminels. When is the last time the operate in Rwanda? They (RWANDA) all say the country is too small to have war their and they must fight out their country. They know they cannot do it openly and they make use of proxy with a local agenda but who, in fact are controling mineral field to loot Congolese resources. All the minerals looted from drc are smuggled towards which countries, Rwanda and Uganda who are now biggest pruducers without having these mines. From AFDL, RCD, CNDP, M23, every time there is an agreement, there is a branch that splits to go and form another group with the same rhetoric. A rebel group defeated come back with more sophisticated arms and heavily armed, where are they getting them if not from Rwanda. Interamwe and ex FDLR are no longer a danger. The drc has focus his efforts towards what it considers as a danger for his internal security 1st, ADF and decided to track them together with Uganda. Trying to justify his insecurity Rwanda trying to link everything with FDLR - interam, now the discourse is FDLR and ADF are Allied. Now there is tension with drc, drc Allied with FDLR. Do not fall for stories like there are Congolese who speak kinyarwanda, Congolese are Congolese whose main languages are Lingala, Swahili and some French. My mom is a native of the region and my grandparents were born there, there's a record left by the Belgians with a list of all ethnic groups in DRC and there is no Tsutsi, nor Banyamulenge, nor Kinyarwanda speaking population before 1960. All these Tsutsi came between 1960 and 1994 as refugees when Tsutsi and Hutu tensions began. They were given asylum but kept strong ties with Kigali. Rwanda and Uganda has been used as a proxy by the Western countries to loot the minerals essential for technology. One question you should ask yourself is where the minerals looted by rebel groups go to and which borders are used to smuggle arms. Congo has the highest reserves of cobalt, coltan, tantalum and gold and the richest country in terms of mineral wealth globally $24 trillion specifically, who do you think is the giant behind Rwanda and Uganda.

Y'all are Tsutsis including yall morphology, Y'all are not a problem because you don't have strong ties with Kigali unlike the Tsutsis who started arriving in the 60s. And I'm sorry if you feel bad, but anybody with "Mana" at the end of their surname is not of Congolese origin before 1900. It happens everywhere that people cross borders and become citizens, in the West of Congo we have Bazombo who are from Angola, we have baLari who are from Brazzaville and some from Zambia and Central African Republic, the problem is why only the Tsutsi feel special and want war all the time, we all know the end game is because they work in the interest of Rwanda and the Americans because they are not Congolese.

    I don't care if rwanda is vulnerable or not, but justice has to be prevailed. Rwandese tutsi are known for their smartness of committing crimes and then hiding behind the international community as being vulnerable and powerless. They have done that with their own fellow hutus who occupied Rwanda and represented 85% of the population by invading the peaceful rwanda of Habyarimana and then claiming to be massacred causing millions of hutus becoming refugees and living in fear; In congo when this tutsi came claiming to be discriminated as the minority ethnic group in dr.congo, causing chaos and unrest in both the army and the goverment but still hiding behind the international community claiming to be discriminated while possessing big guns that even the DRC goverment does not possess causing more than ten million (10.000.000) death while them the minority are still there standing firm and the majority becoming homeless, fatherless, hopeless. I hear some Congolese want their government to start a war on Rwanda, to fight rwanda it is high costly; remember rwanda has faced many countries including Zimbabwe, Angola, Namibia, DRC & others where in DRC and the perpetrators of the genocide lived in DRC but failed to defeat Rwanda and at that time Rwanda was out of genocide does not have many soldiers and it was poor, so now to fight rwanda you can't; If you make that a mistake you will regret it for the rest of your life, because Rwanda has a well-trained, courteous and respectful army. What the DRC soldiers can do is to commit genocide against the Kinyarwanda speakers in DRC, steal military salaries and steal civilian property and rape of women. In Rwanda there are generals and colonels with experience in fighting the wars of liberating Mozambique, Uganda, Rwanda, fighting DRC war 1 & 2; what the congolese are saying is a dream by day; Rwanda is now a peacekeeper in CAR, South Sudan & Mozambique and do it better; so now the power of Rwanda has multiplied many times over; we want peace, i was stunned when i saw one DRC soldier come and shoot in Rwanda to come and take over Rwanda; would one soldier take over the country? this act showed that in the DRC they have no profession, they have cell in the command & control of the army; then it's amazing how that DRC soldier had the cannabis to consume in his pocket! drug addicts can't win. We are here faced with the absurdity and nonsense of the claim by arms of the M23, which at the same time exposes the hand of Rwanda in the whole affair. If the Congo has about 400 tribes, many of which have populations also found on the other side of the borders with the other neighboring countries of the Congo and none of these ethnic groups has ever considered taking up arms against the country and in the process, violently killing thousands of Congolese. Isn't this logical proof that they are not from this big Congolese family which they claim so much to being part of and want so much to integrate and from which they exclude themselves from this fact quite naturally out of absurdity. Why then ask to be reinstated in a family that they do not like, their actions demonstrating it? Two: If you think you are the only ethnicity to be discriminated against because of its Rwandan origin among the other 400 and if you had taken refuge in Congo from Rwanda when things were not going well in Rwanda, what then is holding you back to return to Rwanda where you have or will have all your identity respected and intact now that everything is going well in this country and you who did not bring any land or other property from Rwanda when you came to the Congo? Don't you think there would be unparalleled selfishness in the claim and an intention then to want to consider yourself more special than the 400 and not want to mix with them? Thus, why Rwandan refugees who became Congolese lived in peace before Kagame arrived? The problem is therefore Kagame and This agenda in the Congo was laid bare and came to jeopardize the life of a Rwandan community which until then had integrated well into the Congo; A community which had never wished would find themselves taken hostage in this plan of hegemony of the Rwandan elite. Kagame's calculation of wanting to superimpose two opposing objectives is only an excuse to keep this region destabilized as he does with the story of the FDLR, to continue to draw resources from the Congo through a small window. The only solution that I see here to deal with this mud is that if the Congolese populations of the East and of Rwanda have no problem between them if not with the Rwandan elite since they rub shoulders and transact every day in peace, Rwanda would rather be a province of Congo managed by a governor as it was in the time of Congo - Rwanda - Urundi territory. In any case, all the property that Rwanda owns belongs to the Congo; Ill-gotten gains never profit. The advantages of this are multiple:
    1. Like any tribe in the hundreds of tribes of the Congo, all are Congolese, and their nationals can make their living in any part of the Congo, in democracy and without the law of arms.
    2. The thorny problem that Rwanda has between only two antagonistic ethnic groups will be diluted by their integration into a larger family of Congolese tribes living in harmony.
    It is therefore up to the world to seriously think about it to help bring these peoples out of the imprisonment by the Rwandan elite in which they find themselves.

    The UN have seen the M23 for 5 years as rebels group from Uganda in complice with Rwandais living in DRC. How the UN which being there for more than 20 years can not stop the M23 for war? To my thinking this issues are well known by Rwandais because everything about M23 is Rwanda, even the weapons, communications… there’s always possibility to bring peace between the two countries. Only if the UN want it.

    Only way to attain peace in Congo is to chase away both Uganda and Rwandan forces from Congo. Their plan is to split Congo into two and create another mineral rich country of their own.

    Dear AL Jazeera journalist, it's not correct that the reason for the formation of M 23 was to fight the forces that committed the genocide in Rwanda. M23 are Congolese fighting for their rights as citizens of the DRC.
    These are Kinyarwanda speaking Congolese who merely found themselves on the other side of the boarder during colonial times. This should be made clear

People in the east of DRC HAD been victims of terrorists from Rwanda. This is to end this year, as it is not up to any President's decision, but only Kongo men! Congo will build a wall! Time is up, even if Kagame gets 1Ok refugees men from UK to turn them into terrorists! Congolese will fight until we have PEACE and a wall.

      Tutsi to negotiate over congo land?

    • @mtokabolingo5324
      @mtokabolingo5324 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Time to negotiate from what I can see it's just over. The Congolese Government and the people are this time very decisive to end this so called rebel movement that has constantly been destabilizing their country since 1996 under the umbrella of AFDL. Negotiations with RCD, CNDP, M23 were wasted after the Government allowed full reintegration of their troops and power sharing from the top leadership positions to the bottom of the hierarchy. Who does not remember Azarias Ruberwa being a Vice-President from the 1+4 agreement i.e. one President and 4 vice presidents in a bid to include all the parties involved in the peace building. Now there little to no trust that even if M23 is involved in the negotiations afresh will stick to the outcome without finding new ways to escalate the conflict. In my opinion Power sharing is not a deal for them rather it's entire power control since this was the motive of the invisible hand behind M23 from the very first day of invading DRC at the time of Zaire. The invaders are power hungry and obsessed with superiority complex towards every other communities in the region. This small group is the architecture of all the troubles in the great region.

      Go a discuss with FDLR and Interamwe. Why are you forcing us to discuss with a terrorist group. You are refusing to discuss with your own people, almost 30 years later you want to make us think they are still a danger, still strong to fight. After many entries, authorised and non - authorised to track them, you couldn't defeat them while your proxy gave been controlling the same area.
