Thanks! I used this video to help me install new halogen bulbs in my nephew's 1997 Corolla. I was surprised at how easy this was compared to other cars I have owned. Took literally 3 minutes. My nephew thinks I'm a master mechanic, ha!!
Very helpful! I don't know anything about cars except how to drive them and I changed a blown headlight bulb thanks to this video in 5 minutes...at night under a streetlamp :). No tools needed. Thanks so much!

Thank you! I just inherited my uncle’s 97’ corolla and found that his headlights are out, thank you for this video, i was looking at some new headlights too and this was very helpful ✨💛
Thanks Mike Green, Great video I’m not too bright but I was able to accomplish the task of swapping bulbs and removing assembly . You saved me time and money. I bought some LED head bulbs and turn signal bulbs for my 97 corolla and your video today exactly just that was very neat considerate thank you again .
Excellent video. I was able to replace the offending right headlight in minutes. I wanted to replace the left one too (even though it was working) but I could barely access it and couldn't twist it fully to pull out. I may have to remove the battery temporarily to allow better access. Great job on the video. Thank you very much!
Hey this was the first site I saw to tell the truth but in just a few seconds I knew exactly what to do. I not a girlie girl and I had to disconnect the battery cable to get to my bulb but it was super easy and thats with my fake nails (long ones) and everything! Thank you so much for this information! I will tell my friends!
Thank you thank you thank you on your direction on changing the headlamp assemblies and bulbs very easy instructions to follow straight to the point very clear concise thank you so much we need more mechanics like you out there to help people like me thank you have a great day
Thanks for your video. I don't want to remove my battery so I replaced my headlight bulb on my left by watching how you installed your headlights and replace it thru that. Voila! I did it all by myself. I have a '96 corolla and i maintain it regularly and it still run great...thanks again for showing us how to.

Thanks, Mike! This really came in handy! I did have to remove the battery on the car I was working on (a '95) to reach the bulb but no big deal. Woo hoo! Working headlights!
If you're trying to change a taillight bulb, sometimes you need to remove an interior trim piece in the trunk area to access the bulbs. It should be fairly easy to do. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-339
Thanks, nice and clear instructions. How much would a whole new headlight assembly cost? Mine has seen a few miles (about 150K) and is clear as mud (slightly better after I applied a headlamp cleaning solution, but still).

+Paul James Marquez Yes, you should be able to dissemble the headlight to clean inside. We do not have a video on this and please be advised, taking a headlight apart will void any warranty you have on them.
Would you happen to know if I can put the headlights of a 1993 toyota corolla on a 1993 toyota camry because there is only good looking headlights for thr corolla and cheap looking for the camry ??
The headlights between those two vehicles are quite different. They wouldn't be a direct fit. Thanks for checking us out on TH-cam. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Hi Mike, I'm trying to remove the headlight on a later 99 Corolla (single circular lights). When attempting to remove the bolts the u shaped retaining clip clipped to the fender has broken. So when undoing the bolt it just spins. Unfortunately it has a circular nut, any ideas on how to remove this? Thanks.
+Rob Ward If you can get something on the nut (like a pair of Vise Grips) to keep it from spinning, you should be able to back the bolt off. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
You application may be different. We currently do not have an auto repair video that covers this repair on a 89 Toyota Corolla. We do carry replacement headlights on our website. Here's a link to them if you would like to see what we carry. www.1aauto.com/1989-toyota-corolla-headlight-assemblies/y-mo-c/1989-387-19?TH-cam&TH-cam&ATony
I just replaced my headlight assembly, the left headlight (passenger) aligned perfectly, but the right (driver) side did not align very good, it sticks out about half an inch kinda where the grill is at. Im not sure how i can have that tighten in so it can fit perfectly..
There may be an adjuster or something that's not popped in correctly. They should fasten just like the factory lights did, unless the vehicle has been in an accident, and is out of spec.
If any of our viewers needs to replace the headlights on their Toyota Corolla, we carry the ones shown in this video on our website. Here's a link to them goo.gl/tTDpvB
I would FIRST test the halogen lamps by turning them ON before reinstalling the headlight assemblies and buttoning everything back down. Murphy's Law, remember!
Thankyou very much, i was being charged 40 box of labor per light, wtf??? yet my previous oil change servicemen used to replace them for free. am out here still driving a 97 dx, with 140k miles on odometer, probably even more cos it's rebuilt

where did you get the wheels from?
Hi Kenndrick, We're not sure where they came from. They were on the car when we received it to repair.

You never mentioned that you have to remove a plastic tubing that’s between the battery n the headlight. The a paint in the butt.
