Meet the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly, along with our three adventurous children. Nine years ago, we embarked on an incredible journey, leaving our home in Alaska, USA, behind to explore the world. As teachers, we were fortunate to find amazing opportunities in Chennai, India, where we spent two enriching years. Seeking new experiences, we then made our way to the United Arab Emirates.
Just as we were settling into our UAE life, the pandemic struck, but it didn't dampen our spirits. Instead, we saw it as an opportunity for another chapter in our journey. We moved to Indonesia, where we currently hold teaching jobs, and it has been a time of learning, growth, and connection.
As a family, we thrive on traveling and embracing the unknown. Adventures are our way of life, and through our experiences, we aim to inspire our children to be confident in meeting new people, trying diverse cuisines, and immersing themselves in different languages and cultures.

But now I'm living alone (uni) with only some friend, made me realized how I miss my own family. I hope the kids can enjoy their times with the parents. @@Kelly.BagsPackedFamily I'm from Sydney Australia and I only been to Thailand once. Even though I've been there once, I've been to 3 cities: Bangkok, sriracha and Pattaya.
Alot of stray dogs and cats on the streets especially in Bangkok!!! When I was first There I thought they were wild dogs and cats of Thailand that looked like domestic pets, just like how you see dingoes in Australia comparing to a normal pet dog 🐕. But then found out unfortunately they were stray dogs and cats just roaming around the streets. They tend to be smart though not being run over by a car!!!
But anyways, awesome place to visit. Do you all prefer Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia or Philippines?
The kids wants to adopt all the cats! 😆

Better becareful with adoptions because some are fake adoptions just to get money. So I'm just saying becareful if that's what you all choose to do once you settle and stop travelling for a while.
Just like all pets, needs vaccination check, all the microchip process being done, checking if the pets are healthy etc etc etc.
Cat people family.
My partner is a cat girl but she doesn't mind dogs, guinea pigs or rabbits.
I'm an all animal type. I just like and don't mind any animals.

Hey guys, when you’re back in Jakarta there is a restaurant called Burgreens serving plant based rendang where they substitute beef with mushroom and i think it taste pretty good. Go Packers!
