One of these days Im gonna try and do this mod on my outback. I have the compass pack in mine currently but I want to retro fit guages in it like the oem Lamco guage pack
That would be awesome, I had debated changing mine over to the compass pack, one recently became available for a good price but I decided to finally complete the look of the Glowshift gauges lol
Great video. Does the oil idiot light in dash still work in conjunction with oil guage? Sweet set up. Should be a great weekend project. My 99 Impreza Outback definitely would look nice with these improvements. I'll look at ordering the right stuff from Glowshift.
Thank you I appreciate it! So far yes it has worked together. While I’ve never driven it to where the oil light comes on, the pressure seems to read lower towards the end of the oil life and by then I try and change it. But yes, it definitely makes the interior stand out some! It only takes about 10 minutes to pull the whole dash apart as long as you have the plastic pry tools, that really helps! Good luck and thanks for the feedback!
Appreciate it!! And the stereo replaced the OEM radio, it still attaches to the 4 mounting points behind the dash trim, it is the Pioneer MVH-300EX. It has Bluetooth, radio, and a backup cam that you can buy/install separately.

Can you tell me what model it’s the stereo and if you need a dash kit too?
Great video by the way
