One thing that isn’t discussed enough is how a woman feels insecure when her man doesn’t lower his gaze. And how that little action makes her want to expose her beauty to appear appealing as well. Not blaming men, but this is an overlooked pivotal component when it comes to modesty
Agreed. Of course hijab should be observed regardless, but the husband should facilitate this for his wife as much as possible. It’s similar to when a woman doesn’t fulfil her husband physically by not taking care of her appearance, so he finds it more difficult to lower his gaze. Ultimately both sides need to fulfil each other’s rights for the most secure marriage.
We can't blame anyone to not fulfilling the duties upon us as women no matter what .. and of course this is test ...it means we prioritize husband over the commandments of ALLAH...we want to make him satisfy first then ALLAH....it's our weaknesses of Iman ...so we should think more clearly

4:53 I was like that but didn't think of myself as worthless, I became worthless without knowing it. Focusing on my akhira at the cost of my dunya deluded me into thinking I'm perfect. There should be a balance between dunya and akhira.
It is a strugle but to focus as a negation as in "I should not watch this" it becomes even more heavier, it is very important to have our minds and lifes filled with activities that really inspire us.

Salam. I am a student of the Quran.. i love syed maudoodi's tufheem ul quran as the best guide to understand my purpose of life. But i think in quraan fehmee, Noman Ali khan , is far ahhhead of Dr Israr ,Syed Maudoodi and all others. He dives deeper than anyone else. His ennglish is phenomenal. He is funny and he understand himan psychology. All these traits combination, makes himm the most versatile teacher of quran in a century. Of course that is my take on it. I may b wrong. I always stand corred in my thoughts, beliefs, inferences and takes. I am open to correction from everyone, even children.😢. I dont say It as an artificiall shoow of hummility but I mean it.
@rehanabashir7911 we don't have to compare. I still listen to maudoodi صاحب صاحب the most because he uses excellent urdu. He csn break down any sura with great references from other suras. I use him 90 percent of the times. Nauman has come late on the scene. I love Ghamidi sahb also . He is the best modern mafassur

For me, the last part is can be explain to other meaning, cognitive dissonance, for me, I can say about this.. in other meaning how i've seen it.. humans are not meant to be perfect it is not under their control how can they separate those things but rather they did not do their best.. but it is considerable how you receive the message but I still agree with it, So we can give importance to our daily religious practice. And also we appreciate and understand the struggle of a person... We deliver the understanding and chances that we can possibly achieve...
