I once wanted to marry at 16. No one agreed, of course, and no one helped me. Now I am 35 and still single. I am sad, but I won't give up. This is such a (huge) test for me. I’m a revert married to a non practicing Muslim man. I have never experienced such hardship. I wanted so badly for my marriage to work but I feel the shaytan is heavily involved and I am growing tired of the toxicity. We have three beautiful children together. I grew up with divorced parents so I never wanted this for my own kids. Please make dua for me my brothers and sisters. And Allah is the Greatest. ❤

I have turned to 30 , still unmarried. I am planning to go for higher studies in abroad. I am always praying to Allah to bless me with a good pious husband who will help me to be a better version of muslim & who will also love me for the sake of Allah. I’m so happy I found this video. I have an extremely controlling father and 3 controlling brothers who keep breaking off my engagement based on what people are always saying. I’m 38 years old and been through 2 divorces and 3 broken engagements. I was engaged until 2 weeks ago to a guy who has a wonderful and humble character, but because he’s not wealthy, my father brothers broke it off and said I can never marry him. They listened to other people who intend on seeing my unhappiness and they took him away from me. When I pleaded over and over again for them to allow my Nikah, they denied me. And now again, I’m all alone and under their narcissistic control. You’re right, fathers should be hearing out their daughters, not other people who only intend bad to come to me. These are mischief makers who love seeing my failure but my father prefers listening to them instead of my needs. Honestly I’m so mentally disturbed I feel like running away and never coming back to this horrible family
Have patience dear. I have a similar father who is not wanting me to get married because he wants to see his children me and my brother in a horrible condition. Yes father's like that exist. May Allah ease our pain and suffering.

Definitely we need to stop thinking about what society thinks because some societies, we have to remember, have strayed so far from Islam that the people don't use their Islam to make a proper judgement. And I love that you highlighted how the father tested Musa (AS)'s character because that's also something that seldom happens in these modern times. Too much untrust and not a lot of tawwakul, and that can be damaging. We (parents to be more accurate) chase after people within our families or who have "good jobs" and a good income but they may not be good people in themselves: in their personality, in their Islam. Seeing Prophet Musa (AS)'s background, he's the total opposite of what modern Muslim parents would select for their daughters, but he has a character that trumps that of most men these days. I pray parents connect with the tarjumah of this Surah and I pray for the happy marriages of all of our brothers and sisters ❤
A humble request, if there's no nasheed it will be more beautiful and healthy for our heart though we feel something like butterflies in our stomach with nasheeds.
AA. Among different Islamic Judges, there are different recommendations regarding Nasheeds & even music in general. The majority of Islamic Judges agree that Nasheeds are acceptable and beneficial.
We do of course have diversity of opinions such as different schools of Fiqh, different legal rulings on the same topic, that is part of the Rahma of Allah is we have diversity of opinion & practice in Islam. And we also cannot expect everyone to be the same or expect change things to be exactly how we want, rather we try to keep an open mind and maintain the Ethics of Disagreement in Islam. Grandson of Ishmael
Basemath was daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth (Genesis 36:3).
She was the mother of Reuel, whose sons were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah !
