I bought the Eliminator IV the second it hit the market. It took Burris forever to put the calculator online.
The Eliminator calculator has been up and running since 2016.

Sometimes it can be buggy with mobile devices. We're working on getting it as a standalone app. 👍

Most likely not allowed for target competition.
How does the burris eliminator calculate wind speed
It does not calculate wind speed.
It does know how your bullet will react to wind, so it can give you some very solid wind-related information. So what it does is always, on every target ranging, show you how far your bullet will drift in a 10mph wind (it's the number in top right).
It's up to the shooter to use that info, ignore it, double it, and decide if wind is left to right or right to left.
My co-worker went antelope hunting in super-windy Wyoming last year. The Eliminator gave him data for 10mph, as always. He almost tripled it for local conditions, and held off that amount. Practically made it into one of those golf putts where it felt like he was aiming the wrong way. He has the antelope mount in his office now.

Well i now see what i have to save up for :>/ lol i have been looking for a good scope for a few years now and maid some mistakes.....mostly by trying to save money on cheaper brands and finding out later i should only use these scopes for bird watching!Well really i have one decent scope and i know some may say im nuts or ignorant of the facts but i have an NCStar M4 GenIII sniper scope and it works great out to about 600yrds on an AR style platform....but i need a good scope for a heavier bolt action rifle iun 6.5Creedmoor and one that can take a bit of a beating!I work for a living and i need it to work when i need it to work if you know what i mean?If this a bench rest/tree branch scope or can i crawl thru mud and wire and not have to worry?I protect my scopes as best i can but i "will" be rolling around in the dirt with it!!! SO whats up is this a working mans scope???
They are very solid scopes, with a lifetime warranty (that we would prefer you never have to use).
Hunting isn't a tidy little sport, for us or for anyone else. We make sure our products stand up to everything.
