I was able to hear these speakers yesterday- Unbelievable!!! The detail, resolution and air were shocking- I’ve never heard a speaker put out this amount of resolution and detail.
Agreed. This weekend is ~300 hours burn in so I'm going do review-listening tonight and work on producing the video next week. Be sure you are subscribed to the channel to be notified when it it posted.
I'll let you know. Avante Garde are great speakers but I feel with their recent pricing strategy they've priced themselves into oblivion. The Klipsch Forte IV's are very nice speakers! I had the Cornwall IV's then the La Scala's prior to the Fyne Audio's I have now.
@@GreekAudioGeek I won’t mind upgrading, I have just been using the New Ontech Dac 07 a real sleeper for $2500 that with the Magna Mano ultra mkIII farad is just so musical, real blows my mind…in case you are looking for something new..
Sorry - your post is kinda silly. Not sure if you meant it to sound like it did. You do realize I always bring in and out gear to review and try, right? I guess I disagree with your premise that once I hear something I like I can no longer find other things I like. You do realize its possible to like more than one thing, right?
@@GreekAudioGeek Sorry your response is obtuse. Perhaps I misunderstood, are the Tonians on review? I assumed not since you mentioned you'd waited 5 years for them and no offense but it seemed unlikely that Tonian would go to the expense of shipping internationally those relatively large speakers to a reviewer with less than 4k subscribers. My premise is NOT "that once I hear something I like I can no longer find other things I like". My observation is that raving about the Fyne F704s just 4 months ago and then moving on to the 'next' great thing is a path to permanent unease. Which I asked you to consider when asked, "What basis is there to expect that the same fate will not befall the Tobians?" Of course we can like more than one thing. Are the Tonians being considered for a second system or as a replacement for the Fynes? If intended for a second system then stating that up front would avoid confusion. If a replacement, my comment stands upon its own merit and brings to the fore your likely dissatisfaction with the Fyne's lack of a horn. Which indicates that you may be more about the gear than about the music.
Hi - I talk with manufacturers, distributors, fellow owners and my own purchases to get in gear for review. These are in from the distributor for me to review and it was 5 months lead time to have them built when we talked about it originally if the item in not in stock. I'll decide if I end up buying them or not after the review. Thanks for watching.

You need to buy them!!! LOL
@@GreekAudioGeek I may do that! How Ido you find the soundstage height? (I have 48" tall speakers now)
When dialed in correctly, they are HUGE HUGE HUGE sounding. But you need to take the time to dial them in.
Tobian's...NICE. You are in for a treat
Can't wait!
It's amazing how quick one gets used to a new component. Fortunately, loudspeakers are not one of those components. Congrats
Thank you!
There are hardly any Tobian speaker reviews out there. Looking forward to your review

Consider your jeans creamed. Love those WBT binding posts.
They are AMAZING looking.
Will be very interested in your thoughts with that speaker…I am a horn guy too ….enjoying my Forte IVs…I just can’t get into the Avantgarde look…

Appreciate it! I love finding sleeper units that are musical.
@Charles12509 What amplifier and speakers do you have in your set up?
What happened to your love affair with the Fyne F704s? What basis is there to expect that the same fate will not befall the Tobians?
