    Just a suggestion, but you can use UV resin (SLS printer resin) instead of body filler(bondo) to remove layer lines from your 3D printed parts. I use a UV flashlight and it cures it instantly. Sand, repeat if necessary. Faster, and maybe cheaper than body filler.

    I've been trying to find a video like this which is so simple but shows the whole process for a while! Amazing vid mate 👏 Trying to make a full lip around my car and roof spoiler so this will make it so much easier

    what infill did you use for the 3d print? 100% or does 20% do the job?

    Would have been great if you show cased how you achieved the 3D scan along with the design. The rest we can almost figure out.
    That being said, thanks for the vid. Quite enjoyed watching!

    What filament did you use?
    I was thinking of printing with PETG for ease and simply coating it with tooling gelcoat for a quick project but have no idea if it will work yet.

    How do you design the cannard so it fit the curve on the bumper perfectly? Is there any method to measure it?

      I prefer a non-destructive way of mounting.

      @@richardbaker1977 Drill into the bumper and use nuts and bolts or use an automotive adhesive.

      Yeah, that was not a structural mount at all. If the canard is actually designed to keep the nose down, it will rip off under load. Easy for aesthetics, but a proper mount would be bolted to the frame.

    First and last video. Really poor quality, there should be no open fibres left when the lamination is finished. These things don't have a good physical strength. Additionally no explanations, just showing off your non existent knowledge for you to feel flattered.

      @@bakedgoodz5586if you think so.... I was working on several americas cup projects on boatbuilding and engineering. This things were only allowed to non or low structural bound parts.
