Totally agree, 40-50 mil for a top quality player yes he has high wages but most teams now cap at 200k a week and I don’t care what people say about Toney I think he is top draw and I would’ve loved him at United . according to my research and my math this is about correct. 40 million euros paid to Brentford there was a roughly 30% sell on clause meaning Brentford would pay 30% of the transfer value to Peterborough which is roughly 12 million euro. However Peterborough have a 30% sell on clause with Newcastle which means they have to pay 30% of 12m to Newcastle leaving Peterborough with around 9.4 million euros after paying Newcastle 3.6 million euros
We had no where near a 30% sell on which DMac has said previously. He hasn’t been able to say exact figures but has alluded to it being around 10%, 30% of which will go to Newcastle as you say.
