This is yet another absolutely amazing video, the lyrics are incredible and are of so much intrigue, the art is wonderful, the things that each character says in the text boxes adds a whole new layer of interest, not to mention how fascinating and fun it is to piece together bits of lore from the lyrics, visuals, and the like. This series is positively fantastic, Each song is well written, with little tidbits of information scattered here and there, the characters super likable, the themes it conveys (Quite amazingly, might I add) are rather touching, and it has this fantastical air of mystery looming over it. Ever since I first found Detective Detective, I’ve been hooked on this series, and I always look forward to each new part, but at the same time, I’m constantly looking back at previous parts, digging into each and every little detail, and thinking to myself, “What does this mean?” Or, asking, “Why?” This series is, and likely always will be, my favorite playlist on all of TH-cam by far, I’d even go as far as to say that it’s my favorite collection of videos ever, and it’s not only helped me through some of the harder periods in my life, but it has given myself, and I’d wager many, MANY others, inspiration. I love your videos, and I love this wonderful series, so thank you so much for continuing to make these beautiful songs with this wonderful art, and I hope you keep up the good work.

I found out about this through someone's "Favorites" playlist. Such an awesome song both lyric-wise and music-wise!! The animation and short story were so nice and cute too!!
*My theory:* The ringman or ringmaster is probably the one who had caused all the bombings with two idols on his side. As you can see in the beginning Morime and Haruka were exchanging looks but they only do it while the others are distracted. But in the end of the video Morime gave Haruka a ring since no one was looking at them. This can mean two things. 1)Morime was either offering that she can help with the bombing if she takes the ring. Or. (unrelated to my main theory) 2) It's a sign if acceptance and working together.

Yet another beautiful story symbolizing a key piece of a good life. I like that this one isn't understood unless you pay attention to the lyrics, not the video, all the way to the end. It also makes the story in the video make a lot more sense.

I just wanted to point out: At the beginning when they found the briefcase, Hareka and Morime were looking away from/avoiding too look at each other - implying that they aren't on best terms. Also note that they are also the only ones during that scene actually "moving". This should give the end scene a stronger meaning.

I can't quite tell is Morime is the subject of this song or not. It seems as though she pulls a ring out of her pocket and gives it to Haruka at the very end, but it could also be that due to animation limitations or something it just doesn't show her walking over and taking one out of the box. I'm going to err on the side of the Former and believe that Morime is The Ring Bearer.

I’m waiting for someone to analyse this song :) At the moment, I’m kinda unsure on the meaning of this song and how it ties into the criminal idol universe. If someone could explain it to me, that’d be great. Right now, I think it’s just them finding a briefcase, going through different “trials” to find the code to the briefcase, and the Star Blush Girls are bonding with the new meteor group along the way. Also, I think the singer of this song could be the writer of the note, since it’s not specified in the lyrics. Who the writer of the note is, I don’t know. Another possibility I think is that this is just a friendly scavenger hunt set up for the girls to help them bond and to lift their spirits. If I’m going with this speculation, then the writer of the note, and therefore singer of this song, would most likely be the detective. This is just random speculation, this could all be utter nonsense, and I could be completely off, which I most likely am xD Again, if someone could explain it to me, that’d be nice, thank you!
I'm not sure either but I think Nori had a lil "$" symbol under his shoes in When The Darkness Comes, I believe his description also mentioned charity events... First, thanks static-P for your awesome work on these songs, I really REALLY like them. you're awesome !!! the story you wrote for us is AMAZING, I can't stop thinking about it !!!!! really, thank you !!!!! Now I will write what I know/think of the story and who is the "bad guy". sorry in advance for the bad writing, I'm french so I can and will (for sure) make mistakes ^^" First, we have Detective Detective. talking about a robbery. You may think this as nothing to do with the story, BUUUUUUUUT, it may not be what it seems. We know from detective detective that there is only two evidences for the robbery. a brick and A hairclip. thiw will come in handy later on. after that we have all the introduction of the other characters and the second song, life might take us. with this song we know the other BIG point of view (aside detective's one) for us on this story : Cole. Cole was a "outcast", he had a bad reputation from his "bizzare" behavior, because he is a introvert. He like to write songs, so he wanted to make a club related to music, but because another group of people had the same idea, he got signed in this club. the idol club. from this point we know the other importants characters : the Star Blush Girls (SBG for short) : Hareka (long hair blonde), Aoke (blue hair), Bee (short hair blonde) and Keiko (long brown hair). the idol group needed 5 members or the group was dissolved. they decided that cole could be the manager and write the song for them, so both part had what they wanted. now come the third song : Idol Bombing. with Idol bombing come the main event the.....Idol bombing. It was the top 10 idol groups stage, and a bomb exploded when the last group "metor" (remember that, it's important) was performing. The bomb was in an idol group backpack : SBG's backpack. from this song, we know from Detective and his friend, a professor at SBG's school, Kanesaki, that no one touched stuff that wasn't their. it's only getting started, stay in here a little longer. right after Idol bombing, we got No one's in this alone. this is a song about Cole and is view on the SBG girls. Cole want to be friend with them, but because of is past and the bombing he don't know what to do. one of the girls, Hareka, wants him to feel at ease and is (for me) the one who as the best relation with Cole. I say that because she is the one who got him to come eat with the rest of the group in the video. then, we have A reason for suffering. My point of view for this song/video is Detective taking the deposition of the girls, and then talking to them about the bombing. Aoke is the one speaking for the group to him, and she talk about how they want to let all the tragedy behind, and go toward their dreams. what comes next is I'm sorry!. Detective wants SBG + Cole to be at ease when he is here, but every time he enter the club room, it's like is presence freeze the world for the group. with the help of Kanesaki, he got the key to a cabin by the lake. all goes well at the start, everyone is happy to have some time together. BUUUUT ! Kanesaki comes at night and bring another Idol group: Meteor, with their teacher, Aka. Metor is composed of three girls : Kariko (shoulder length blonde hair with a ribbon), Morime (long black hair with an hairclip) and Furuto (shoulder length brown hair with a ponytail). the SBG are surprised, in the wrong way, that another idol group is with them. Detective tells to SBG that Meteor is the group who gave SBG's alibi. right after we got When the darkness comes, the "episode 0". it's the introduction of the characters. it's this song that gave us the names, ages, personality and backstory of the characters. there is some details that appeared bizzare to me in this video. first, Kanesaki : he is a part time inventor. why would we get this type of info on him ? save it for later. second, it's Nori. he like to lead others to greatness. we haven't see him in a song/video yet, but I think he is the one who gave SBG a chance in the top 10 Idol competition. next, is Dream on!, this song depict Cole and Detective talking in the cabin at night, while Hareka is listening through the door. Cole is unsure of is role for the SBG. he want to know if he is "their light". He is scared that he can't help them with all the problem they have. Detective tell him that he is on is side, wanting to help him and the SBG. Cole want to know if Detective think that the SBG a guilty for the bombing. He tell Cole to "Close his eyes" and that "everything will be alright", and reassures him that he is on their side, that he fight for them. he re-use Cole comparison and question himself if he is "their light" too. While they are talking, Hareka is telling herself to "be strong" and to continue to dream. it's alright if they cry. she thinking that for her, Cole and Everyone else. Cole tell that SBG inspire him, and that he know that they are not guilty. the fact that Hareka is here and that she support Cole when it's the chorus make me think that she is in love with him. and next is the last song for now, Clues to a poorman's briefcase. the day after Meteor arrive, they go to an abandoned building that his right next to their cabin. they found a note on the floor with a briefcase. the note tell them that they need to search for the code of the briefcase in the building. Detective rest to the entrance with the briefcase while SBG + Metor form three group to search for the code : group 1 : Cole, Hareka and Furuto. this group go to an ancient garden in the building. group 2 : Bee, Kariko and Keiko. they go to a basement with a river in it. group 3 : Aoke and Morime. they go to a room full of constellation with a comfy bed in it. each group face a trial to get the code. group 1 got "G", group 2 "R" and group 3 "IN". the song itself is Detective reading the paper with a child story. The story is a child and his father that were homeless, one day the father got enroled in the mafia. after a while, the father decided to take his child away from the mafia with him, because he got commissioned to a dangerous mission. The last par of the song is "the code for the briefcase is the name of what lies inside. it is a symbol of unity, friendship and sharde lifes.[...] please, take as many as you need, and return the clues to their former loaction, sincerely, the ringbearer" After detective opened the briefcase, we see Morime offering a ring to Kareka, as a symbol of friendship between the two Idol groups. the symbol of this riddle is that the "RING" represent emotion, and that "GRIN" is the smile that represent the happiness behind the whole riddle, the emotion that the ring represent. that conclude my analyse of the videos/songs, now comes time for my theory. Morime is involved in the robbery from the first song. why ? because she is the only character that we know with an hairclip. and a hairclip was found in the bank. Kanesaki is the one who built the bomb, or at least the plan to make the bomb, because he the only one we know with the necessary skills to do so. he is part time invetor after all. In Idol bombing we know that two people heard a match sound after the explosion and that no one touched the other's stuff. Kanesaki is the also the one who made the bomb explode. Detective must know that too, but it's his friend, so he gave him the benefit of the doubt. as for why the bomb in the first place, I have to much doubt to write about it now. maybe after the next song. Morime must be from the family of the child in the last song, because this would make sense for the guy's who captured Detective. I also have some doubt on the why here. maybe to pay Kanesaki ? Wow, that’s incredibly different from what I got out of this song, though not conflicting, as I’ve only theorized who the note was written to, when, that I saw (I may have missed it), you did not. I personally thought that the note was addressing Detective Detective. I thought so because of a few reasons, but the thing that initially made me think that he might be the person being addressed was the line, “You were told to fight (Right?) for the agency.” Which made me immediately think of a Detective Agency, also, the fact that it brings up the father’s relationship with the mafia would in my mind explain why, in Detective Detective, he is so quick to determine where the people in the limousine he wakes up in are from, if they are from the mafia that it is. The line asking, “he offered you a job that day, did you know his face?” could be why Detective Detective says that he doesn’t need to see his captor’s faces, as it may be possible he had already seen their faces. Additionally the note begins by saying, “my daddy daddy was a good Good gentleman.” Which not only seems like someone who would be far from fond of the mafia, which is further backed by the note saying that they were “slaves to the mafia,” but it also seems like a rather accurate description of Detective Detective. And for the lyrics referring to them, “losing big time,” I think that may have been referring to the mafia have been losing to law enforcement, at which point the two left the mafia, where I think that Detective Detective went to join the law enforcement, possibly to fight against those who forced him to commit crimes or indebted him, and the writer seems to me to have gone their own separate way, as it’s written as though they don’t interact with the person who is being addressed often, if at all. Just a warning, from this point on, this is mostly be speculation. If Morime is related to the writer like you suggested, than it is possible that Morime only ended up in the writer’s life after the disconnect, which, even if the note was written at the time thereof, it’s suggested that the note has been there for a long time, and if Morime enter their life after said disconnect, that would very much explain why Detective Detective doesn’t recognize her.

Dont know if anyone else saw at 0:11 when they first go inside, you can see Hareka and Morime distrust each other by their faces. They then chose the doors furthest away from each other. But by the end Morime offered the ring as a symbol of friendship :)

I had forgotten static existed. It kinda feels like he was saving it for me, for this rainy day. Confirmation bias, I know, but it made me happy nonetheless.
Like a year ago I had dismissed the whole "don't worry wednesday" thing as just some feel-good bullshit, but today, it feels like I was just being stubborn, pretending I didn't need any help or something, so I was rejecting everything and everyone trying to help, including many of my friends, whom I coldly spent the best part of 3 years pushing people away. Since then, I think I've realized what a mistake that whole attitude was. I've been trying to reconnect with my friends, to let them help me and to apologize for all. How is it the song goes? "I know that it's hard but that's why it's worth saying: I'm sorry"? Something like that. What I'm trying to say is thank you, I guess. I appreciate the constant kind of messages StaticP (and the other guy, sorry other guy) are trying to give, I feel they, along some other stuff, have given me a whole ton of perspective. Usually I don't post messages like this since they seem annoying to me (fucking blogposting reee, etc). I certainly wouldn't like to be on the receiving end, but I'm absolutely certain staticP would appreciate it at least. he seems like that kinda guy, though ultimately I will admit I'm just letting some stuff out of my chest.

I've been listening to this guy's music for a while despite the fact that I'm not really into the whole anime scene stuff and general themes of his songs. But man, the raw talent Static has is ridiculous. Amazing vocalist, great melodies, catchy songs. Turned me into a huge fan of your music! Please put it on itunes!!
This one felt so different from the others, I was already enjoying the series but this was a sharp increase in quality for sure, thank you for making it!
It was puzzling but for those of you who were like me and got lost by the animations and hardly focused on what's going on; I'll try to summarize it as best as possible. The group found an Abandoned building with the case and the note; This is easy to tell by the animation but I have to explain it anyways. Now what's written in the notes/lyrics is the part that got me scrambling through the lyrics A story about a homeless child with his father; he's often bullied in school. He'd take showers in the bathrooms at school as we already know he's homeless. A man helped him out with the mess he'd made in the bathrooms. Eventually that man made his father (As the song uses "You" instead of "me" and is told within a first-person perspective) part of the mafia. His father bought him a ring as a gift to remember. During gang fights the father would try to protect his child(The note's narrator) One night the godfather(Boss = Godfather) commanded the father to fight so he left the child to do his duty. (I had trouble cracking the rest out so the few next given details could be wrong) But instead the child followed and he carried his child with him(I'm gonna assume he's in his teenage years and not in his elementary school years), eventually they both survived and was free from the fighting
Mormie, the black haired girl seems to be the child. She has a ring before the case is even opened. As others think, the bombing could've been a result of the maphia somehow.
I think it's saying something about them that despite the fact that they could have easily found out the code from the letter, they went through the journey anyway. This is yet another absolutely amazing video, the lyrics are incredible and are of so much intrigue, the art is wonderful, the things that each character says in the text boxes adds a whole new layer of interest, not to mention how fascinating and fun it is to piece together bits of lore from the lyrics, visuals, and the like.
This series is positively fantastic, Each song is well written, with little tidbits of information scattered here and there, the characters super likable, the themes it conveys (Quite amazingly, might I add) are rather touching, and it has this fantastical air of mystery looming over it. Ever since I first found Detective Detective, I’ve been hooked on this series, and I always look forward to each new part, but at the same time, I’m constantly looking back at previous parts, digging into each and every little detail, and thinking to myself, “What does this mean?” Or, asking, “Why?” This series is, and likely always will be, my favorite playlist on all of TH-cam by far, I’d even go as far as to say that it’s my favorite collection of videos ever, and it’s not only helped me through some of the harder periods in my life, but it has given myself, and I’d wager many, MANY others, inspiration. I love your videos, and I love this wonderful series, so thank you so much for continuing to make these beautiful songs with this wonderful art, and I hope you keep up the good work.

*My theory:*
The ringman or ringmaster is probably the one who had caused all the bombings with two idols on his side.
As you can see in the beginning Morime and Haruka were exchanging looks but they only do it while the others are distracted.
But in the end of the video Morime gave Haruka a ring since no one was looking at them.
This can mean two things.
1)Morime was either offering that she can help with the bombing if she takes the ring.
Or. (unrelated to my main theory)
2) It's a sign if acceptance and working together.

I just wanted to point out:
At the beginning when they found the briefcase, Hareka and Morime were looking away from/avoiding too look at each other - implying that they aren't on best terms. Also note that they are also the only ones during that scene actually "moving".
This should give the end scene a stronger meaning.

I can't quite tell is Morime is the subject of this song or not. It seems as though she pulls a ring out of her pocket and gives it to Haruka at the very end, but it could also be that due to animation limitations or something it just doesn't show her walking over and taking one out of the box. I'm going to err on the side of the Former and believe that Morime is The Ring Bearer.

I’m waiting for someone to analyse this song :) At the moment, I’m kinda unsure on the meaning of this song and how it ties into the criminal idol universe. If someone could explain it to me, that’d be great. Right now, I think it’s just them finding a briefcase, going through different “trials” to find the code to the briefcase, and the Star Blush Girls are bonding with the new meteor group along the way. Also, I think the singer of this song could be the writer of the note, since it’s not specified in the lyrics. Who the writer of the note is, I don’t know. Another possibility I think is that this is just a friendly scavenger hunt set up for the girls to help them bond and to lift their spirits. If I’m going with this speculation, then the writer of the note, and therefore singer of this song, would most likely be the detective. This is just random speculation, this could all be utter nonsense, and I could be completely off, which I most likely am xD Again, if someone could explain it to me, that’d be nice, thank you!

First, we have Detective Detective. talking about a robbery. You may think this as nothing to do with the story, BUUUUUUUUT, it may not be what it seems.
We know from detective detective that there is only two evidences for the robbery. a brick and A hairclip. thiw will come in handy later on.
after that we have all the introduction of the other characters and the second song, life might take us.
with this song we know the other BIG point of view (aside detective's one) for us on this story : Cole.
Cole was a "outcast", he had a bad reputation from his "bizzare" behavior, because he is a introvert. He like to write songs, so he wanted to make a club related to music, but because another group of people had the same idea, he got signed in this club. the idol club.
from this point we know the other importants characters : the Star Blush Girls (SBG for short) : Hareka (long hair blonde), Aoke (blue hair), Bee (short hair blonde) and Keiko (long brown hair).
the idol group needed 5 members or the group was dissolved. they decided that cole could be the manager and write the song for them, so both part had what they wanted.
now come the third song : Idol Bombing.
with Idol bombing come the main event the.....Idol bombing.
It was the top 10 idol groups stage, and a bomb exploded when the last group "metor" (remember that, it's important) was performing. The bomb was in an idol group backpack : SBG's backpack. from this song, we know from Detective and his friend, a professor at SBG's school, Kanesaki, that no one touched stuff that wasn't their.
it's only getting started, stay in here a little longer.
right after Idol bombing, we got No one's in this alone.
this is a song about Cole and is view on the SBG girls.
Cole want to be friend with them, but because of is past and the bombing he don't know what to do. one of the girls, Hareka, wants him to feel at ease and is (for me) the one who as the best relation with Cole. I say that because she is the one who got him to come eat with the rest of the group in the video.
then, we have A reason for suffering. My point of view for this song/video is Detective taking the deposition of the girls, and then talking to them about the bombing. Aoke is the one speaking for the group to him, and she talk about how they want to let all the tragedy behind, and go toward their dreams.
what comes next is I'm sorry!. Detective wants SBG + Cole to be at ease when he is here, but every time he
enter the club room, it's like is presence freeze the world for the group. with the help of Kanesaki, he
got the key to a cabin by the lake. all goes well at the start, everyone is happy to have some time together.
BUUUUT ! Kanesaki comes at night and bring another Idol group: Meteor, with their teacher, Aka.
Metor is composed of three girls : Kariko (shoulder length blonde hair with a ribbon), Morime (long black hair with an hairclip) and Furuto (shoulder length brown hair with a ponytail).
the SBG are surprised, in the wrong way, that another idol group is with them.
Detective tells to SBG that Meteor is the group who gave SBG's alibi.
right after we got When the darkness comes, the "episode 0". it's the introduction of the characters.
it's this song that gave us the names, ages, personality and backstory of the characters.
there is some details that appeared bizzare to me in this video.
first, Kanesaki : he is a part time inventor. why would we get this type of info on him ? save it for later.
second, it's Nori. he like to lead others to greatness. we haven't see him in a song/video yet, but I think he is the one who gave SBG a chance in the top 10 Idol competition.
next, is Dream on!, this song depict Cole and Detective talking in the cabin at night, while Hareka is listening through the door. Cole is unsure of is role for the SBG. he want to know if he is "their light".
He is scared that he can't help them with all the problem they have. Detective tell him that he is on is side, wanting to help him and the SBG. Cole want to know if Detective think that the SBG a guilty for the bombing.
He tell Cole to "Close his eyes" and that "everything will be alright", and reassures him that he is on their side, that he fight for them. he re-use Cole comparison and question himself if he is "their light" too.
While they are talking, Hareka is telling herself to "be strong" and to continue to dream. it's alright if they cry. she thinking that for her, Cole and Everyone else. Cole tell that SBG inspire him, and that he know that they are not guilty. the fact that Hareka is here and that she support Cole when it's the chorus make me think that she is in love with him.
and next is the last song for now, Clues to a poorman's briefcase.
the day after Meteor arrive, they go to an abandoned building that his right next to their cabin.
they found a note on the floor with a briefcase. the note tell them that they need to search for the code of the briefcase in the building.
Detective rest to the entrance with the briefcase while SBG + Metor form three group to search for the code :
group 1 : Cole, Hareka and Furuto. this group go to an ancient garden in the building.
group 2 : Bee, Kariko and Keiko. they go to a basement with a river in it.
group 3 : Aoke and Morime. they go to a room full of constellation with a comfy bed in it.
each group face a trial to get the code. group 1 got "G", group 2 "R" and group 3 "IN".
the song itself is Detective reading the paper with a child story. The story is a child and his father that were homeless, one day the father got enroled in the mafia. after a while, the father decided to take his child away from the mafia with him, because he got commissioned to a dangerous mission.
The last par of the song is "the code for the briefcase is the name of what lies inside. it is a symbol of unity, friendship and sharde lifes.[...] please, take as many as you need, and return the clues to their former loaction, sincerely, the ringbearer"
After detective opened the briefcase, we see Morime offering a ring to Kareka, as a symbol of friendship between the two Idol groups.
the symbol of this riddle is that the "RING" represent emotion, and that "GRIN" is the smile that represent the happiness behind the whole riddle, the emotion that the ring represent.
that conclude my analyse of the videos/songs, now comes time for my theory.
Morime is involved in the robbery from the first song. why ? because she is the only character that we know with an hairclip. and a hairclip was found in the bank.
Kanesaki is the one who built the bomb, or at least the plan to make the bomb, because he the only one we know with the necessary skills to do so. he is part time invetor after all.
In Idol bombing we know that two people heard a match sound after the explosion and that no one touched the other's stuff.
Kanesaki is the also the one who made the bomb explode.
Detective must know that too, but it's his friend, so he gave him the benefit of the doubt.
as for why the bomb in the first place, I have to much doubt to write about it now. maybe after the next song.
Morime must be from the family of the child in the last song, because this would make sense for the guy's who captured Detective. I also have some doubt on the why here. maybe to pay Kanesaki ? I don't know.

It is actually worth noting, that Morime has a hairclip at the beginning of the song... And suddenly doesn't have it at the end.
Wow, that’s incredibly different from what I got out of this song, though not conflicting, as I’ve only theorized who the note was written to, when, that I saw (I may have missed it), you did not. I personally thought that the note was addressing Detective Detective. I thought so because of a few reasons, but the thing that initially made me think that he might be the person being addressed was the line, “You were told to fight (Right?) for the agency.” Which made me immediately think of a Detective Agency, also, the fact that it brings up the father’s relationship with the mafia would in my mind explain why, in Detective Detective, he is so quick to determine where the people in the limousine he wakes up in are from, if they are from the mafia that it is. The line asking, “he offered you a job that day, did you know his face?” could be why Detective Detective says that he doesn’t need to see his captor’s faces, as it may be possible he had already seen their faces. Additionally the note begins by saying, “my daddy daddy was a good Good gentleman.” Which not only seems like someone who would be far from fond of the mafia, which is further backed by the note saying that they were “slaves to the mafia,” but it also seems like a rather accurate description of Detective Detective. And for the lyrics referring to them, “losing big time,” I think that may have been referring to the mafia have been losing to law enforcement, at which point the two left the mafia, where I think that Detective Detective went to join the law enforcement, possibly to fight against those who forced him to commit crimes or indebted him, and the writer seems to me to have gone their own separate way, as it’s written as though they don’t interact with the person who is being addressed often, if at all.
Just a warning, from this point on, this is mostly be speculation. If Morime is related to the writer like you suggested, than it is possible that Morime only ended up in the writer’s life after the disconnect, which, even if the note was written at the time thereof, it’s suggested that the note has been there for a long time, and if Morime enter their life after said disconnect, that would very much explain why Detective Detective doesn’t recognize her.

I had forgotten static existed.
It kinda feels like he was saving it for me, for this rainy day.
Confirmation bias, I know, but it made me happy nonetheless.
Like a year ago I had dismissed the whole "don't worry wednesday" thing as just some feel-good bullshit, but today, it feels like I was just being stubborn, pretending I didn't need any help or something, so I was rejecting everything and everyone trying to help, including many of my friends, whom I coldly spent the best part of 3 years pushing people away.
Since then, I think I've realized what a mistake that whole attitude was. I've been trying to reconnect with my friends, to let them help me and to apologize for all.
How is it the song goes? "I know that it's hard but that's why it's worth saying: I'm sorry"? Something like that.
What I'm trying to say is thank you, I guess. I appreciate the constant kind of messages StaticP (and the other guy, sorry other guy) are trying to give, I feel they, along some other stuff, have given me a whole ton of perspective.
Usually I don't post messages like this since they seem annoying to me (fucking blogposting reee, etc). I certainly wouldn't like to be on the receiving end, but I'm absolutely certain staticP would appreciate it at least. he seems like that kinda guy, though ultimately I will admit I'm just letting some stuff out of my chest.
*hugs* ^^ I can understand the perceptive of "fake feel-good self-help nonsense". I used to be in that boat, too. haha. Anytime someone had some overly positive idea I thought it was lacking truth and wisdom. While I still believe that some messages like this are fake... I think that so much is based on perspective. How you view the world really determines how you feel, and what you do, living inside of it.

I've been listening to this guy's music for a while despite the fact that I'm not really into the whole anime scene stuff and general themes of his songs. But man, the raw talent Static has is ridiculous. Amazing vocalist, great melodies, catchy songs. Turned me into a huge fan of your music! Please put it on itunes!!

It was puzzling but for those of you who were like me and got lost by the animations and hardly focused on what's going on; I'll try to summarize it as best as possible.
The group found an Abandoned building with the case and the note;
This is easy to tell by the animation but I have to explain it anyways. Now what's written in the notes/lyrics is the part that got me scrambling through the lyrics
A story about a homeless child with his father; he's often bullied in school. He'd take showers in the bathrooms at school as we already know he's homeless.
A man helped him out with the mess he'd made in the bathrooms. Eventually that man made his father (As the song uses "You" instead of "me" and is told within a first-person perspective) part of the mafia.
His father bought him a ring as a gift to remember.
During gang fights the father would try to protect his child(The note's narrator)
One night the godfather(Boss = Godfather) commanded the father to fight so he left the child to do his duty.
(I had trouble cracking the rest out so the few next given details could be wrong)
But instead the child followed and he carried his child with him(I'm gonna assume he's in his teenage years and not in his elementary school years), eventually they both survived and was free from the fighting
to be honest i think that the "father" and the person who got a job were both his real father
Mormie, the black haired girl seems to be the child.
She has a ring before the case is even opened.
As others think, the bombing could've been a result of the maphia somehow.
I think it's saying something about them that despite the fact that they could have easily found out the code from the letter, they went through the journey anyway. They are close, strong-willed and never looking for the easy way out, all of which are points that were brought to recognition in some of the previous songs too.
