Girona Gravel World Cup: Controversial UCI Decisions and Gravel Tech

We sent Shoddy Dave to the Gravel World Cup in Girona, the second to last of the 2024 season. There are tech, interviews, and controversial discussions by the UCI on the start line.

Tire choice for the World's will be interesting - on my local trails and roads. Its a real mix of tarmac/concrete roads, forest gravel and some really rutted muddy single and double track trails through fields... I ride these trails all the time (well, the steep short climbs I have ridden, but tend to avoid!) and even I don't know which tire would be best! I rode the entire route a few weeks ago in the dry and there was still muddy bits then - but its absolutely chucked it down since so it will be extra muddy for the World's.
