Can't believe you have got this edit together and out so quickly. The female rider was smashing the down hill. Some great music choices thrown in there Josh.
Josh, it's a delight to see how the quality of your videos is steadily improving. They've always been great, but lately you've clearly reached another level in video quality, editing and content. Keep it coming!
Hey Josh, the segment beginning at 10:53 was so EPIC! Can you take this section and make this into a separate video. I love the music/setting and this would be a great music video on its own. I can do this for myself but this deserves to be shared!
Man that was epic, you’ve shot footage I’ve never seen on this route! That’s so cool, and you are the first upload.. stylin tunes! Great prep for The big one coming!😉 just recover well. Appreciate the upload.
Im using the DJI Osmo Action 4 with a pro standard grill mount for the descents and I had it mounted on the handlebars at the start. I then also use the iPhone for the other shots.
Im using 45mm. Hutchinson Tundra on the front and a Touareg on the back. Nope not prescription and no contacts. I can see okay without my glasses so decide to go without.
This 2025 will be my first The Traka 200k. What developments would you recommend for an amateur like me Master 40 with an "acceptable" state of fitness? Are there "surprise zones" with any extreme slope beyond 12% or 15%? My gravel bike is a Cérvelo Aspero 5 and it comes with SRAM Force AXS XPLR with a 40T chainring and 10-44T cassette, thanks...
@@Josh-Reid Thanks, I've watched your video three times already - from the 11th minute I can feel the amazing flow, with excellent music and a skilled girl
Great effort Josh and another outstanding video. That descent with Watt Wagon is sick, you guys were ripping! Good luck with the Migration race; we’ll root for you.
I’m a big fan of the Giant Revolt and have ridden it all over the world. Yeah I’d recommend it to everyone but Liv also do the Devote which is the women’s version.

Thanks for the race footage. Nice video. Based on your comments in the pre ride video, would you describe yourselves as “Choppers” (as in “get rid of the choppers”) having been summarily dropped at the start? Good luck in your preparation for the Migration Race.
Escape to the sun.... 360km race going off like Zwift 💨 Nice ride, you've done a lot of miles over the last few weeks! How long were you anticipating the 500km version to take?

It is watt wagon, isnt it?
It was me!!!!! That was the best part of the race
@@wattwagon Epic descending skills!
@@Moriseifel Thank you.
By far the best bit of the race. We almost climbed back up to do it again.
Seeing the head snap on some of the people as she passed them is priceless, ur a great rider great job sir
That descent footage going towards the sea... Unreal stuff! Another epic video Josh
Great video! Got a great feel for what to expect when I tackle The Traka next year. Thank you!
Fantastic footage,editing and music choice.

Such a great video, especially considering the effort you were putting in. You guys were flying on the Cap de Creus descent!

Great video! Thanks for sharing! I am in the US and would definitely make the trip for this ride.

Great edit of the event Josh 👏👏👏
Thanks 👍
What an awesome looking course. Also great video, I enjoyed this.
Awesome video ! . Well done 👍
Amazing! Thx
Brilliant!
Chapeau! 👏👍
Great ride video and shoot. What camera do you use and how did you mount it for the fast descents?
Im using the DJI Osmo Action 4 with a pro standard grill mount for the descents and I had it mounted on the handlebars at the start. I then also use the iPhone for the other shots.
There was something about that section you rode too hard. I did the same. Just like you it took a long time to recover.
24k views!!!! Legendary. This video is great. I should have stuck with you for that descent with Cynthia for content 🤣🤣🤣
Plenty of opportunity in Kenya
Wow Josh! What a day at Traka and also the footage plus music! Great to see also other riders like Muddy and Lawrence!
What camera have you used?
You are an absolute star. What size tires are you on? Also, you have prescription glasses. Do you wear contacts when you put on them sunglasses?
Im using 45mm. Hutchinson Tundra on the front and a Touareg on the back. Nope not prescription and no contacts. I can see okay without my glasses so decide to go without.
Hi cows! 🤣🤣 Nice video for this hard race! I hope you enjoyed cycling in Girona
Is that Cynthia? She doesn’t ride, she freaking flies!
Watt Wagon rocking her new Dora.
Yes this is Cynthia. Was fun following her down and definitely the highlight of the Traka.

🔥🔥🔥
Great Video... You got to tell me what the music is that comes in at 17:06 ish?
It’s called the Peruvian Protest by Max H.
@@Josh-Reid 🖤 It was the perfect choice for the end of your film.
Swanny Cam! Best faux YT channel ever.
Hey, can you tell me what brand and model is your hydration pack? Do you recommend it?
It’s a Restrap pack. So many pockets on the shoulder straps and spacious in the back and doesn’t move around.
@@Josh-Reid Thank you!
Cool!!!!
Greta content. Di you need a to be pressure washes to get that caked mud off?
Girona has car/bike wash places but definitely need to give the bike a better wash when I get back home.
@@Josh-Reid yeah can be tricky traveling with sports gear that has dirt and such on it for customs
what name of your bicycle??
Would you recommend a giant bike to everyone, or is it down to your own preferences
I’m a big fan of the Giant Revolt and have ridden it all over the world. Yeah I’d recommend it to everyone but Liv also do the Devote which is the women’s version.
What gear did you use for this video?
I'm guessing a gopro. But I couldn't see a chest mount so interested to know how those shots where got.
Im using the DJI Osmo Action 4 with a pro standard grill mount for the descents and I had it mounted on the handlebars at the start. I then also use the iPhone for the other shots.

IPhone footage is amazing, I also have insta360 go 3s.
😊
So where’s the soignie cam footage?
On Maddy Nutts TH-cam

Nice ride, you've done a lot of miles over the last few weeks!
How long were you anticipating the 500km version to take?
28-30 hours ish
Unexpected 😂? You didn’t know that the traka is a ride?
Unexpected in the way that I was meant to be racing the 560km but due to the cancellation changed to the 345km.
