even after so many years studying astrology I still feel like a complete newb and books and refresher courses like these absolutely help, at the very least so we don't get complacent with the foundation we'd already lain, which often tends to lead to stereotyping and "textbooking" people. Anyways this was SO fun and engaging and Amanda's interviews with Christopher always feel like we're all having one big slumber party for some reason :D

So very enlightening, thank you! 31 years ago I lost my beloved first daughter as a toddler, and I remember someone saying a couple of years later that I didn’t look like a person who had lost a child.. I couldn’t understand back then as my grief was so overwhelming, now I understand..I’m a Leo rising with my Sun in Aries in the 8th, so if I understand this correctly, the face I showed the world, or how I faced this was Leo energy. I was literally working on the heart and the meaning of the inspirational song "House of the Rising Sun" when I had the epiphany that this song is about Astrology. The song was written in the UK and was popular in public clubs where people gathered to tell stories. When I realized the Rising Sign is determined by your Sun sign and is your way of facing the challenges ahead, and represents how you "show up" in life and it is your 1st House, I became enchanted and convinced. Now I am "all in" with this ancient way of Learning and Knowing! It is Simple Synchrony and a Worthy Goal to have.

It's interesting, I see the Aries rising in Christopher, the energy, the animation, I can't tell about his eyebrows - Aries can often have distinct shapes as well as moles or scars on their face. That was great, always entertaining, thank you🙏💫🦋🌟💜 I love the idea of his book...

Christopher you’re my hero. I’ve been studying Astrology for 11 years. I’ve been able to guess people’s Sun sign the less I interact with them- but also the planets in the 1st house or if they’re strong placements where planets are dignified can also shape peoples features and natural character. I can always point out a persons sun sign on strangers- it freaks people out sometimes lol in a good way

I’m Aries rising, Moon and Mars. BUT my moon and mars are in the 12th house. My sun is Sag. I identify 50% with my moon, 30% sun and only 20% with my rising.

Another thing I keep in mind is that, because the Vedic chart slips backwards roughly 22 degrees, a big portion of people are actually the sign ahead of their Western rising sign in Vedic astrology (which would be Taurus for Christopher). I relate a lot more to my Vedic rising sign of Gemini, but have plenty of cross-over with Cancer, as well. One of the very obvious facial traits to me that relates to my Gemini rising qualities is that I have always looked roughly a decade younger than I am.

I understand the Rising sign & degree have to do w/ your souls entrance into the physical world, Time of birth. Your face is a facade of the 1st room of ego. It is a 1st impression. Your face changes as you grow, You need to remember you grow into the next sign in Progression.

What rising is Christopher: The face could be either Aries or Taurus , it has strong features of both signs.
