What do i do if the grease keeps leaking out and the track looses tention after an hour or so of running

Sounds like your tensioner needs rebuilt.

As long as the treads are all wore then same, the procedure is the same. In fact, you could do the same procedure with out pads on the tracks. you are really just measuring the deflection of the chain.
