How to Adjust the Track Tension on a Dresser 100G Track Loader

We are going to show you how to adjust the track tension on a Dresser 100G track loader or dozer. This method should be the same for lots of different heavy track equipment, But check your manual first ,Not all machines are the same.. I had been putting this task off for awhile due to thinking it would be to difficult. But after reading my Dresser track loader operators manual I decided to give it a try. The only tools I needed were a grease gun, socket and ratchet, tape measure and a straight edge.
You can see in the video the tracks were very loose and the tracks needed to be adjusted. Just remove a couple bolts and add grease was all there was to it.
I hope this video helps someone trying this for the first time.

I have no idea, This is the only loader I have ever worked on. I think I did make a mistake saying other machines would be the same, but then I had a lot of people tell me some machines are different. you will need to check your manual, or do some online research.

@@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors it's kind of in the same area as this. I found it on the idler yoke for the tractor I asked about. One square bolt to twist off on the outside of the yoke and the plug was right behind the bolt. Very easy to get to thankfully.
