China became predominantly an export orientated country. From low to high end accessories, parts or whole products.
When people from other countries have no money to spend on their products due to the need to first feed themselves and their families then, we don’t buy, even when those Chinese products are discounted at ridiculous prices and sometimes with free shipping.
We are all suffering the high cost of living.

China had a decision to make: stop trying to build a military aggression against the west, or continue with its economic growth. They chose the earlier and now their citizens are paying for it. Was it worth it? is it still worth it trying to build military to take an aggressive foothold in the world vs benefitting its own economic growth and welfare of its citizens'? Was the anti-foreign policy effective (it led to foreign companies leaving China to other markets)? It was all working great...

  • @Aimsport-video

Propping up foreign leaders who then fail their country has ramifications. A healthy customer with spending money is vital to anyone selling. A healthy economy is vital to anyone buying. Weakening "adversaries" is just weakening demand. Weak demand, unchecked, is catastrophic.

Much of China's boom was between 1990 to 2020. Money was much easier to be made. Many of those who made theie money have now cut back spending. College graduates found it easier. Real estate was over built with unfinished projects. The CCP pandemic lockdown hurt the average workers which they never recoveted. Companies are leaving China and the jobs with it.

Every boom is followed by a downturn where the fat gets trimmed and China was overdue. However, China is even more complicated due to the cult of personality and mandates from Heaven (ie central control by idiots - same story in the West) given by Xi AND the the draconian Covid lockdowns that accelerated business failures. Shanghai storefronts look a bit like NYC but judging economic healthy by retail is shallow. The two things to watch in China are the real estate crisis and factory closures. Xi is scaring off foreign money and business at the worst possible time. Another thing to watch is local government tax revenues........ those are declining rapidly in many parts of China and that is unprecedented in the past few decades.
FWIW - I wish for the Chinese people to do well and do NOT equate them with the CCP. Prosperity brings peace.

I even heard Pakistan bought many tofu tanks from the ccp but, had to send the temu tanks back to China for repair even the Prime Minister of Pakistan stated it was a piece of junk unfortunately for the Pakistanis, the temu tanks broke down again so the Prime Minister of Pakistan r tv told the Chinese not to build the damn temu tanks for them just dsend the parts and they would build the tanks themselves unfortunately for the Chinese it was a huge embarrassment, even their allies like Russia made fun of the Chinese but just my opinion it’s a design flaw😂😂😂😂😂 just like there, Temu soldiers unfortunately China couldn’t get a break with Saudi Arabia and UAE they had to return the so-called Fire Dragon air defense junk worth $6 billion I bet they kicking themselves in the head even Peru wouldn’t touch Chinese military hardware even though the CCP offered the Peruvian government half-price on Chinese military junk but lucky for them they passed on the deal which was the smartest move they ever made especially after hearing about Brazil and Bolivia having problems with their equipment but did you about hear the situation in Bolivia? Supposedly one of the generals tried to overthrow the government recently, but the military hardware they bought from China fell apart on the way to the palace unfortunately for the general he was apprehended and thrown in prison I bet he’s probably thinking to himself the damn Chinese got me good they straight up sold me a lemon🥲🥲🥲

I have no idea what you are talking about my dad grew up in Shanghai since 1950s I've visited Shanghai since 2000 every 4-5 years and I've seen it transform from a third world city to probably the most cleanist and futuristic cities in these past 2 decades, came back from Shanghai last week and with the majority switch to electric vehicles the city has became very quiet and peaceful from the noise pollution and smog it once was full of.

Checked your channel and every video is basically China bashing. It's fine to be critical in a balanced manner, but it's obvious you're heavily biased towards a particular narrative.

How to be "balanced" when there's nothing good to say about China? That there are no good news for China? Should they make something positive up just to cater to your sensitive, little, pink wumao soul?

I watch a lot of China stuff because I like geopolitics and like to know what’s happening in important parts of the world. Lately, TH-cam started recommending this Channel to me and every single video I have seen on China from here is extremely negative.
I know some foreigners and expats in China and even if some of the things this Channel talks about are facts, the consistency of the negativity and the exaggeration has got me scratching my head a little bit. I think someone is clearly pushing a narrative here 😂😂. It’s so obvious.
Btw, it’s statistically and objectively impossible for a country of 1.4 billion people not to have some social issues and certain people to struggle economically, especially more so given the dynamics of the world economy and geopolitical environment.
My verdict is this channel makes their agenda too obvious. Balance is key otherwise discerning people will not take you serious 😂.

Yah. It's not just this channel saying it. When Israel goes after Iranian oil, China will go down harder because they need Iranian oil. Now you know why the US is reluctant to punish Iran until the US de-risks from China further
