Checking out the Storypencil addon from Blender

The Blender/Greasepencil developers are making a new addon for storyboard artists using Blenders Video Sequence Editor and Greasepencil to quickly do animatic storyboards. Lets check it out and see how it works.

I love the Blender grease pencil. It has nice brushes. I can do a hybrid animation.

do you think you could explain a little how this works? how is it different from greasepencil?

The story pencil addon is a tool geared towards doing storyboards using grease pencil and the sequencer for shot editing. Using it I can create a sequence of shots and edit them easily and adjust timing etc...

@@tomnel can you export pdfs of the storyboard? Can you export as an image sequence?

@Zypher you can but the pdf exporter is very basic right now, better to render as an image sequence and use use an external pdf exporter probably.

I can't record dual monitor but basically I'm going between a timeline window and a drawing window to draw the shots. It would be clearer if I could record two monitors.

@@tomnel hey did you check out the ubisoft shot manager thing? i'm having way more fun with that one espeically the 2.1.24 version.
btw do you have your pen at default setting?
