I refinished a hardwood floor in one room with one of these things haha. Would not recommend in general, took forever. But it came out pretty decent and was a great excuse to buy a new tool 😂😂

Yeah, maybe a floor sander (industrial) for a large project like that next time! Lol. I’m glad your project turned out though 😊. Dan

the adjustment of the handle also allows you to get up close to a vertical surface if necessary. :)

Thanks 😊! They do make well built Pro tools. Can’t beat the LSA either 😊

Nice review! I was looking at this belt sander and comparing to the Ryobi 18v. On the HD product page for the R86065B, it says it features an "automatic belt tracking tool" but I haven't seen that feature mentioned in any reviews - they always show the tracking adjustment knob.

I have many Ridgid tools, and Makita. All of my Ridgid battery powered tools have an awful battery sticking problem. I can be extremely difficult to remove the batteries. This happens with every tool, and I have many.

@@NickeryNelson maybe try a silicone spray on the tracks to help with the sliding of the battery. Just a thought 🤔. Anyone else have that issue?? My job site radio is bad for older batteries 🔋.😊Dan

Great idea. I did actually try it and it does work. You just have to be careful not to get crazy with the spray 👍
