I recently tried my hand at weaving my family’s tartan. I did the hunting tartan which is basically just yellow and black checkers with silver stripes because the dress tartan was a bit more complex. Thankfully it’s quite simple so I could do it on my rigid heddle. I’m looking to get a 8 shaft at some point so hopefully I can make a more accurate one at some point!
This would be so much better if you could please dispense with the background music. You have a soft Scots voice but it is not always easy to understand against the music. Fascinating subject.
This is very good and interesting, but what gives me pause is the sheer clattering racket the loom. Even earplugs might not be enough for me to cope with that!
You have to present them to the Scotland parliament and the officially approve them for your clan or tribe due to valor in battle and protecting Scotland from foreign invaders, mostly aggressive england. Have you done that yet? Are you part of the lost Russian tribe of Scotland?😂😂😂
