if you can somehow still get into your savefile, then you can use proteus to save your old character, and use him on another savefile. thats how i saved one of my oldest save files. although i doubt you can save inigo or kaidan that way.
Thank you for the tip! Before it was corrupted, I was still able to get into the file but the entire game looked fxxcked. I had physics mods and they didn't load anymore and so everything was stretched and such, then her face looked funny as well. I left that save file alone because I couldn't be arsed at the time. Then later it was just entirely corrupted. At this point the current dragonborn is higher level than my old file was so I'm not too mad about it anymore. I just hope it won't happen again 😅
@@Synthesex just make sure you dont uninstall any big mods, or preferably no mods at all during your playthrough. also be careful around certain mods that could corrupt your savefile if youre using them for too long, like iNeed has that potential for example incase youre using it.
I had an entire list on my old videos. That was the corrupted save file mentioned in this video though since it updated to AE. Most of the mods in that list still work, just not the physics mods that I had on my old save file. I'll be sure to drop it in another reaction, just let me find it for you 🙂
