@@deltauljCustoms sorry it's a defender that was designed as a work horse no amount of leather cladding and a V8 is worth that I'm saying this from some who likes landrover's and own one there is an old saying you can't make a silk purse out of a soe's ear so no matter what you do to these it's over inflated the engineering hasn't changed and I bet the wind still whistles through the door gaps
@@alex79buckland thats true,I suppose the fact is there are a lot of people out there that have more money than they know what to do with ,and landrover realise there is a market for it
@@deltauljCustoms don't get me wrong I'd like to put a V8 in one but the drive line probably wouldn't be strong enough even with after market parts, a pro charged 427 LSX Base and ideally a manual box far cheaper and more powerful
I saw one of these last week at Bicester heritage, I’m amazed they use second hand vehicles, what struck me was 150k and you can still steal the doors and bonnet, no secure hinges.
I’ve got a Defender 110 and l love it, but £150,000? That’s insane. You could buy the best late model TDCi Defender and have £110,000 change. That £150,000 Defender is still a Defender. My advice pay £15,000 for a really nice TD5 110 XS, and trouser £135,000. Man that’s enough to buy a used Ferrari 458 as well. And still take a cruise on the Queen Mary 2 with the change. The ONLY way this makes sense is if you put it away as an investment. There’s plenty of people to whom money is no object will buy it.
This shows British production just about at its worst . If this was German it would have every system replaced . 150k for whatever second hand parts they can get away with ? No thanks .
Is there an option for the Range Rover 4.4L TDV8 with a 6 speed manual transmission? But even that with the £150,000 is too much. It would be understandable if it costs just somewhere of a bottom price of £50,000 to a ceiling price of £80,000. This is asking too much.
That price can't match up even you buy another new brand engine and gearbox with much more horsepower and torques, chrome grille and tyres will put off most of all landrovers colours very excellent looking, good, a very powerful i6 ( straight 6) or V 8 will give the defender very good performance, (600\800 HP V8/i6 engines.
I absolutely love this car 😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Happy with mine.
Realmente hermosos!!! Que año lo fabricaron??
Can’t wait for the new Defender!
The new defender is hideous.
BASITH PH
The new defender looks like a modified version of the FreeLander 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ it’s so sad !
Does anyone know if these engines are available for order for the defender?
I like it and I have dream to use that car

How does this make it worth £150,000 simple answer it doesn't, I am a landrover guy but the hype and over inflated prices for them is ridiculous
Depends on used value, possible they may trade for over 150k

You can steal the LED lights which you resale for a few hundred, the external trim, all the fittings

So sad that most of these won't be used for their original offroading purpose 😭
I think that the most defenders are not used for offroading :p
I like the idea of specialists buying stock and upgrading, but why not electric?
Why electric? Its so much more boring than a V8
@@Ssh52 much more torque in electric and more reliable

why didnt take the mercedes g wagon model with these cars
The Defender hands down is a beautiful vehicle. Reliability is lacking.
