Good video. The bag looks ok. The items you showed stored inside are items I would want to have faster access to than having to go inside the bag to get them. I've the same trouble with sling bags as you, i.e., the shoulder strap rubbing my neck. Plus, they are a nuisance to take off and put on when wearing a heavy jacket. Thanks for posting and enjoy the new bag.

Yes exactly, this is more then likely designed to be a quick access travel light backup camera (Pretty certain it was originally designed for that.) bag for recreational shots etc. or a glorified man size L fanny pack. Good point on EDC and I agree! Quicker access is important! Glad my video was able to help you!
Thought about the issue with getting it on/off too and found a (little pricy) sling that offered a solution. CodeOfBell x-pod-sling-pack has a buckle that is magnetic and you can open it with a pull on a lil cord.
I have this bag. The quality is great. Second to none but the storage options inside are crap. I think having molle in both portions or full panels of loop so you can get stick on modularity would have been so much better. Still I want this bag to work for me so I’m thinking of making kydex inserts ( or something) so I can store my edc carry better
Yes the Kydex inserts would help for carrying. Also not carrying a Full sized firearm with a foam padded sleeve holster may be best. For what it’s designed for it’s fine. But for the ultimate EDC bag? Yeah not quite there I don’t think. So far I’ve used this everyday I’m out. You can also carry it around your waist. But it might be awkward fitting as well. 👍🏻
If I remove the mag, is there any chance of an mp5k with a foldable, or collapsible stock fitting in this bag? I’m looking for something robust, small, and easy to throw over the shoulder to transport it. It looks like it may be a bit too small. Thanks in advance.
Sorry it’s coming later but now at. This will not fit that setup. This is the bare bones minimum. You’d need and want just a small hand pew to fit inside and a few mags.
Extra mags weren’t there in this video, but for the ability to fit extra mags it’s not the best for that. Again like I said above to another person, this is your bare bones bag here, like a fancy man fanny pack to swivel across your chest or back. Haha. It’s not large at all, and due to the shell casing on the outside it makes it almost impossible to fudge the sizing and fitting placements of things. This is your urban EDC fanny pack size but slightly bigger enough to fit your PSP or small Casio camera in etc. Hope this helps!
I mean, a smaller sized 1911 or a star, astra etc. not full sized comfortably. I think the biggest j got on here was a Glock 45 and even that was a huge struggle and not comfortable at all.

I like the hard outer shell but usability is questionable. Without a more in-depth video showing practical ed use I wouldn’t be willing to buy this based on a non verbal table top review.
Not very practical as edc: imagine yourself into a mall opening that rigid clamshell cover to take something inside, revealing what's in the bag and with something falling out with people looking at you...no thanks, i would not buy it
Ok so this is an good point and let me address this. If your carry a piece in here it’s not secured. I mean you can get a Velcro inner holster but even then it’s not secure in this clam shell case! I’d you carry something make sure it’s small, and honestly like some of Hazard 4’s other smaller bags it’s mainly meant a urban camera hipster environment. Small, “bare bones” kit or, “egg carton.” Honestly, looking at these comments two years later, I wouldn’t go for this bag, completely change my mind on it for EDC CCW. It’s a bare bones bag that’s meant to look, “tacticool” lol. Not very functional. In fact a year later I upgraded to a Maxpadition and haven’t looked back haha. I wouldn’t grab this for serious EDC. Just lake day and don’t want to get your camera or small gorilla 🦍 tripod covered in water.

yeah, that little slots are for storing micro SD cards, so battery pack won't fit. These lineup is mostly for storing camera gears safely.
