Great video, man! Basic and in plain English. Thank you!
I'm about to jump into this. Thanks for the direction. BAMCIS!
Good video man. I watched because I just got mine from midway a couple days ago and was worried about the 9x21 on the box.
Yeah, that can be confusing. There are a bunch of dies that do multiple calibers, so as long as yours is one listed, you should be good to go.
@@SevenStarTactical I am going to reload 9x19 but the dies were listed as 9mm Luger. My research said they were the same so it just threw me to see 9x21. Thanks for clarifying.
Yup. 9x19mm = 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum. Usually people use it as a synonym for 9mm NATO as well, although in reality 9mm NATO is a very specific load range for 9x19mm.
me too dont worry, it will work for 9mm luger, 9x19 and for 9x21 as well, some european force polices uses 9x21.
@@djhenriquefontana thank you brother.
If you expand first and then resize you will need to expand again afterwards. Resize and deprime, insert primer. Inset primer, insert expander and expand, powder up, bullet seat.
SST? in what order did you go? Resize, Expand, then Seat? Is Expanding always necessary? First time pistol loading. I finally got all the pieces of the puzzle to start. Thanks.
This is a super helpful resource. I wish it had been around when I started: www.reddit.com/r/reloading/wiki/faq
Going to be Resize, Expand, then Seat. You'll want to expand every time, yes.
Hello, these dies are only for 9x21 or can they be adjusted for 9x19?
These are for both 9x19 and 9x21.
You didn't mention your micrometer was set to MM's.
We use inches here. Get with it.
Do you know what the MM stands for in 9MM? 🤣
9x21?
Israeli round. Uses the same dies as 9x19mm. (9mm Luger)
@@SevenStarTactical even with the longer case? i almost bought a set but was worried about the case length because of 9x21 round having a longer case i figured it wouldnt be compatible. pretty interesting way they worked around the nato csrtridge ban though
@@tomsrandomness 9x21 is used in Italy
Step 1: Find a 9mm die set. Oh right: YOU CAN'T!
They're out there, don't despair. I found mine at my local Academy. Check out the reloading subreddit's Discord, they have a great bot running that reports on in-stock items.
@@SevenStarTactical Perhaps it's my age, but I literally have no idea how to navigate Discord. Been there several times for various pages. It all looks like a weird wasteland.
Bass pro shop!
@@rodrringold3267 Thanks for the heads up! I just bought the 9mm die set.
