@@rpegelectronics yes for TC:2 and TC:3, using the PCSX mouse patcher for TC Crisis Zone because it has some major issues with nuvee. Sounds like there may be a workaround for that but happy with how it plays with the mouse patcher.
Awesome video, without a guy like you forget it with the scripting involved I would not have the patience to do this. Just wanted to chime in in regards to the circle button. For me as MButton it never worked, had to map it as C which equals the Circle button on the controller (in custom controller config for that particular game). With that, I was finally able to go past the calibration screen. Also there is the first part of the script, pointing to rpcs3.exe. before the other part that was pointing to the individual .self files. I simply removed the first part that points towards rpcs3.exe, it was redundant and giving me error message like it was trying to launch rpcs3 2 times.

@@cjkcizur I used Andy's control pad setting (You don't mention them, but I could not get it working with out changing these) and set up another Sinden configuration so my back left is triangle, Pump is circle, front right is "x" and I am guessing front left is square. Oh and the instructions on getting the triangle to respond to the back left button I used from Andy's ahk, slight difference.Only took me 3 hours lol

That’s what I started using but it would only work like 50% of the time so I updated the timings on mine. Seems to be working a lot better but good to know there are multiple config a that seem to work!

Have you tried House of the Dead Overkill on RPCS3 with the Sinden yet? I know PC version works but more interested in PS3 version since it supports 2 players although not sure RPCS3 supports two Sinden lightguns? Any idea if it does? Thanks.
I have not really tried any HOTD games except for the original, but definitely on my list to get setup, but may stick with the PC version for the latest ones. RPCS3 currently only supports 1 player with the PSMove/Lightgun emulation.

Hi, Time Crisis 4 works very well but in mmy case i use Lightgun Ultimarc Aimtrak and i would change button right of mouse (trigger outscreen) with left or right button Red on my lightgun. Its possible to do it? Thanks.
Thank you creating this! Definitely a chore to get this going, until the RPCS3 update native Sinden support it might not be possible to configure two player unfortunately.
Save states after calibration works fine for both TC4 and TCRS. Don't really need borderless gaming for those. This doesn't work with Deadstorm pirates , borderless gaming + a save state works flawlessly tho. I made a seperate rpcs3 folder specifically for the deadstorm pirates save state.
How do you create save states? I'm having problems getting borderless gaming to hide the taskbar, would be nice to not have to use it at all and get past the calibration
@@maxfowardspeed it's F3 I believe (not sure if thats right key atm but something like that) . After you press it RPCS3 will crash. This is normal. Then the save state is in your RPCS3 root in a folder called savestates. It's best to change the save state file to "read only" . If you don't it might get wiped. Anyway after that; in launchbox , you can point it to the save state for launching. Edit = save state key is : ctrl+s I was way off lol

@@maxfowardspeed calibrate gun. Get to the title screen. Create save state. Also note when the emulator crashes. U might have to open task manager and kill the process as it likes to still be running afterwards.
As far as scripting ; that's up to your unique circumstances. Mine was different. I've modded a at games legends cab , using its own control deck with a pc etc so there's a bit more scripting in my case
I have a problem, when I aim my gun at the screen the cursor wiggles left and right like crazy, I tried every settings and I can't get the cursor to be steady, did I have defective unit?
Gameplay question in TimeCrisis 4 . Some levels you have to move left or right. On screen it shows the move controllers. How do you move left and right. The dpad did not move for me. Anyone figure this out with sinden light gun?
Interesting! I don't think I've played through long enough to get to that point. Is it a "swipe" motion? I know in Deadstorm pirates at the very beginning you have to point at the screen and move in circles, I'll try to play around and see if I can get to that sequence.

Tried removing that 1pixel at the bottom instead on the right side and it does register a bit better, but still not always, Did you happen to look into this issue yet or maybe have a tip what to do or try?

EDIT: Figured it out. For anyone else that gets confused, map the buttons as shown in this video. For Razing Storm: Calibrate the gun then press the space bar to go back to the previous screen and press "C" on your keyboard. For Time Crisis 4: Do not calibrate when told to do. Press the space bar and then C as before. This will get you to the menu selection. Calibrate it from the menu selection. (Make sure the controller is set to Motion 7 before calibration). Hope this helps someone.

Great job! I tweaked it a bit since my sinden isn’t here yet, but your scripts were very useful! I just can’t get the games to run smoothly though, dead storm freezes after a few min and time crisis 4 is terribly laggy even with my 1080ti. Razing storm pretty good though . Have u found a fix for the lag and freeze?
What CPU do you have? I don’t have very much perceived lag on TC4 even with a MUCH lower power graphics card. In the video I mention I lock the frame rate at 30 for TC4 & Razing Storm. Helped a lot on my system without a noticeable drop in quality. Deadstorm doesn’t freeze on me, but does run slow and I do get ghosting issues where some enemies are basically transparent until they get close.
@@rpegelectronics Man that should be plenty powerful compared to my i7-4790! Are you running the settings that I showed in the video? The best performance improvements I saw were by adjusting the SPU Preferred Threads and limiting the framerate. I don't have an Nvida card but will likely upgrade once prices come back to reality, but not sure if that 1080 works better with a different graphics driver than Vulkan? I really don't know enough about the details or which ones work best with RPCS3, just seems to be the only option that works with my AMD.

On unlimited mine would run at 35-45 FPS and I would have audio glitches. Locking it at 30 for TC4 and TCRS resolved those issues and it runs rock-solid at 30 with no dips, at the cost of some smoothness. Deadstorm though I guess really is configured to run at 60fps, so setting to 30 just makes everything run at half-speed. Leaving it unlimited makes it playable, but you can tell things are lagging since it's really only running at 35-45 fps. I've also tried to reduce the resolution to sacrifice graphics quality for speed, but didn't really seem to make a difference.
Starting at about the 29:00 mark after I have everything setup and launch RPCS3 you'll see the white border around the screen. Checkout the link in the description to a collection of my AHK files where I use Sinden with the "autoborder" option to get the border to appear on launch.
Good question. I believe the Borderless Gaming app I'm using in this video should handle that pretty well. I had to tweak my setup to make the window 1 pixel smaller than the screen and then adjust the AHK because otherwise it would hide the Sinden border. But with something like Aimtrak or Gun4IR without the border requirement you should be able to setup Borderless Gaming with the default config and have it set the window to full screen.
Looking for help. I was able to get the game to run using the ahk script. However, my button config on the sinden light gun seems off and does not correspond to the default config in the sinden software. For example, in RaisingStorm the Trigger on the gun is mapped to the Shield. The front left button on the gun maps to shield as well. The rear left shoots one bullet. When I shoot it does not hit anything. When i pull the reload slider it pulls up the shield which is good. I also don't see my crosshair due to no mousy setting. Anyone know how to resolve this issue which shooting when pulling the trigger. Similar issue on TimeCrisis 4. FYI I do have the Infinity pedal plugged in.
Can you confirm in the Sinden button mappings that trigger is indeed mapped to Left Click? Also, make sure you have the border up and your gun is seeing the screen correctly. If the gun thinks you're pointing off-screen the default configuration is to send a Right-Click which is mapped to the Shield.
@@cjkcizur On a positive note Dead storm pirates seems to work correctly with trigger and it shoots. Unfortunately in TC4 when I pull the trigger the shield comes up. front left button shoots. I now see the cursor. In sinden trigger is mouse left and front left is middle mouse. pump action is mouse middle.
Update. The issue in TC4 was that within controller setting it was set to control type2. once I changed to control type 1. The trigger shot and the pump action ducked or shied as it should. Looking good.
Rising storm is not working properly for me. The trigger shoots but bullets dont hit anything nor do I see my cursor like in DSP or TC4. Pump pulls up the shield. Any thoughts how to get shots to register. Sinden border is on 16*9

I seem to have a weird bug with mine. Check that the left buttons are mapped on pads as space and middle button……yep all good then Launch the script go to pads then the left buttons register as right and left mouse buttons not space and middle 🤔 Been stuck on the calibration screen all night 😭😭😭
@@marlbear That is strange, but could be something with the AHK script since both space and middle mouse do send a Right Mouse button. For my setup I don't think I did anything at all with the pads, in fact, you likely want to make sure that none of the pads are configured to use Space and MMouse so as not to conflict. The PSEye emulation piece natively takes input from the mouse so not through any pad configuration which is why the AHK overrides the MMbutton and Space as send from the sinden software into a series of mouse presses to send the right PS3 button.

With the settings shown in this video it plays really well on my machine. Maybe just slight stuttering in some high-motion scenes like the helicopter crash at the very beginning or when all of the little bug things are on screen, but other than that it plays great on my hardware with these settings.
@@rcadenow7543 yeah that would be nice, no clue on my side how to accomplish that but may look into it in the future. As far as compatibility, I see Razing Storm is marked as "Playable", but you're right TC:4 is still listed as In-Game. However if you look at the disc serial it is a different game. They released a stand-alone TC:4 game that did not support the PS Move so that's the one listed as "In-Game". The only way to get the games to work with the Lightgun is to use the TC: Razing Storm disc which supports the PS Move.

The pedal is just also sending the same input as the pump (in this case the right-mouse button), so you can use either input method.

Even my mouse is registering middle button as right button when I test it in pads 🧐. Very strange
@@marlbear That is strange, but could be something with the AHK script since both space and middle mouse do send a Right Mouse button. For my setup I don't think I did anything at all with the pads, in fact, you likely want to make sure that none of the pads are configured to use Space and MMouse so as not to conflict. The PSEye emulation piece natively takes input from the mouse so not through any pad configuration which is why the AHK overrides the MMbutton and Space as send from the sinden software into a series of mouse presses to send the right PS3 button.
@@cjkcizur yeah, I had the sinden buttons and the pads set exactly the same as yours, was only using pads just to see what was being registered,I never saved them.

how tc4 works for you? i know it need a very good cpu.
With the settings shown in this video it plays really well on my machine. Maybe just slight stuttering in some high-motion scenes like the helicopter crash at the very beginning or when all of the little bug things are on screen, but other than that it plays great on my hardware with these settings.

@@rcadenow7543 yeah that would be nice, no clue on my side how to accomplish that but may look into it in the future. As far as compatibility, I see Razing Storm is marked as "Playable", but you're right TC:4 is still listed as In-Game. However if you look at the disc serial it is a different game. They released a stand-alone TC:4 game that did not support the PS Move so that's the one listed as "In-Game". The only way to get the games to work with the Lightgun is to use the TC: Razing Storm disc which supports the PS Move.
