Jim isn't the RDA for safe levels of zinc 15mg per day? I mean you want us to take 30mg a day plus were getting some from food isn't that counter productive, too much zinc is counter can weaken your immune system.

A very good source said any soy product or anything using soy lecithin is raising estrogen levels. Another source said soy has no impact on estrogen levels. Pro Jym has soy lecithin so I think I know where you stand on this but could you PLEASE explain why?

There's many articles by reputable health organizations, and even the food and agricultural organization has stated that people only absorb about 20-40% of the zinc they ingest in food. Meats are probably the best source of absorbed zic due to enzymes that help with absorption. However, white meat chicken is low. Dark meat, and grass fed beef are the best. Just Google it and read up on it. I was skeptical at first, but did my due diligence. Now zinc won't increase test if you're already receiving enough zinc. But if you're deficient, your test is lowered, so intaking the proper amount will get your test to where it needs to be for proper test levels and also aids in the metabolic process. Is it a huge gain, like a real test booster? No. But it doesn't hurt to get proper nutrient intake
do you workout? I'd say just start out with the protein, and with time if you're serious about your training get vita jym and ZMA... and if you're really serious get the fish oil... and if you're REALLY REALLY REALLY serious get the post Jym and active matrix.... anymore serious you'll buy a t shirt like me ^.^ lol

ZMA works with the body to keep levels optimized. I have used Natures aid calcium Magnesium and Zinc for about 8 years as its cheaper and twice as potent.. When i started using it my strength levels did increase and i felt much better in myself. My skin cleared up and sleep really well and did not get a common cold for about 6 years as well. When i have run out of this product in the past my sleep did suffer and guess what i got sick . Chest infections you name it. ZMA is a rip off i suggest a colloidal zinc and magnesium supp .Or a high potency product for best absorption.
If eat calcium laden foods like cheese or a glass of milk if I took ZMA a few hours later is the calcium probably still inhibiting absorption? Is it a waste of the ZMA? Thoughts thanks
You probably don't need it at your age. I'm 37 & know I need it as my body doesn't recover like it used to. ZMA induces quality deep sleep which improves recovery rate. At 17, If you workout a lot, I would take it a few days post workout & see how it affects you.

Especially if you take lot of caffeine, which causes a massive lack of magnesium, is ZMA very useful.

Just make sure you don't drink alcohol when taking ZMA. Made that mistake last night and my heart rate went up to 140 bpm. Was not a fun night.
