This is very exciting to watch. Me and my wife just had a house built and we close in 3 days. We were there for the whole process too. You guys did an awesome job to do 3 houses at the same time.
The final project was beautiful! At the beginning the houses seemed small but actually they're spacious.

This house is awesome. A masterpiece! This would be nice to build in Jamaica. Wood houses are cooler in hot climate. The concrete houses are hot.

How do you find these drywall crews? They did a amazing job! How do you go upon finding a crew around the area?
It takes trial and error. Went through other drywall crews before finally finding this one. Asking around, etc.

Is that foundation a raft foundation? And why choose this rather than a strip foundation?
I have. Question Niko. So as far your trusted Sub trades. Do you typically sign an agreement with them or do y’all just go the old school way and just shake on it( verbal agreement) ? Just curious.
We just do verbal agreements because we have good relationships

Have you considered using those green boards with the zip tape so you wouldn’t have to wrap the house?
I’ve considered it but there’s mixed reviews and the cost is a bit higher as well
We used zip for our house, and I wouldn’t use anything else. Even sitting for a year waiting for siding we never had a single leak. It was so worth the slight difference in cost. Zip sheathing is 1,000 times more durable than Tyvek, which tears at the slightest pressure.

Man, i love those building videos. I wish, i could built a house like this myself but unfortunately the laws for constructions in germany are so ridiculous strickt that those houses wouldnt even match the basic codes for a garden shed.

I'm from the Czech Republic (central Europe) I wanted to ask what is the normal room temperature in the USA? At our house we are used to about 21 C (69.8 F). What I have observed is the normal temperature in the countries around: Germany, Poland, etc. I like the American system for the speed of construction and the price, but I have concerns about the insulation. Your winter tends to be much stronger in many areas than here in Europe in the middle zone. Despite this fact, we take care of great insulation and waterproofing of the lower part of the house. This also applies to the thickness of the walls. I would appreciate your knowledge and experience. Thanks.
