this is exactly the type of video i was looking for. cleared out alotta questions i had regarding the behavior of the engine during FTS. the foot cam was very informative. thank you for putting the effort in to setting this all up. also, if i may ask, what clutch, flywheel, master cylinder, and clutch line are you using? that clutch pedal looks perfect. i would love to know the clutch system parts! good job on the video!
Hi there, thanks and I'm glad it helped you out. It is the original OEM cable clutch system from the YS1 transmission in this car, with an Exedy Stage 1 organic clutch disc and Exedy racing flywheel (8.8lbs)
I was wondering the same thing but I think it should be ok cuz there's a minimum throttle percent (at least in hondata) when fts is activated. So I'm guessing it's fine to downshift because you're not on the throttle? That's my guess!
This is awesome, love that it pops. I am going to be setting that up soon with my turbo d series. I hope the car is still ripping!
Wow you shooting flames now!🔥

I was thinking to myself it should be a built in standard in all cars
I had one in my first civic, they’re pretty annoying.
what are your settings?????
Do you need to rebuild the gearbox intervally?
Please help man. Can I just have none selected and it will use the oem clutch switch?
What sensor did you used for ecu to detect you're engaging the clutch?
most people i know use a bonnet switch or brake switch
how does this work when downshifting?
