I love the season so far. Netflix is wrong for making us wait. Penelope looked so gorgeous when she changed her look. Love that green dress when she showed up in her new look for the first time. The queen always looks so bored. I love her 😂😂 I wonder if the king will pop up this season.
the amount of times i have seen that carriage scene is probably embarrassing and unhealthy..like they ATE. fantastic scene it was romantic, sexy, but also like so cute. I loved it all. The more i rewatch the season the more I like them as a couple and I love to see the progression from friends to lovers.
i felt bad for lord debling too, he really liked her a lot and he seemed so sweet 😭 i’m excited for part two to see if he even tries to get involved with cressida 🤣
I differ...I feel that he didn't dislike Penelope, but he was more looking for a woman to call his wife and have her there to feel that there was someone waiting for him...But he didn't want a wife for himself.
hopefully the blonde would get with lord deplin...I didn't like her at first but feel sorry for her. especially with those parents. I'm loving the friend to lovers Collin and Penelope❤❤❤
I wanted a bit more emotional connection with Colin & Pen, but that will hopefully come in part 2. Lust more than love at the moment I think. Also want some of what Colin is thinking, let's have some love letters please since you're both into writing! Carriage scene was 🔥 best sex scene in the whole series imho. And yah too many side plots, want more of the fam bonding
I’ve been intrigued with Cressida’s expression when she told lord Debbling about Colin and Penelope being the oldest of friends like it was a bitter memory of hers, I really hope they expend on that.
The only way I can make sense of Colin helping Penelope find a suitor being scandalous is that him helping her out means they're alone which is suspect since he is also a potential suitor idk
Yeah, it’s because they’re spending time alone unchaperoned. Even them shaking hands was scandalous because they were alone together and touching skin to skin.
I wish they built the tension between pen and Colin more. I mean I know it was over 2.5 seasons but it just didn’t feel as The previous season’s tension
I believe that not only was it scandalous because they’re unchaperoned, but also the fact that unmarried women are INTENTIONALLY kept in the dark about all aspects of relationships with men. So they probably think she’s tainted by knowing information that she shouldn’t from a man who has been raking about the world. Men never get blamed for anything, so it’s all her fault 🙄. Plus, they probably think it’s pathetic and desperate because she’s a spinster, though in reality it’s very smart to develop a strategy. I’m mad that we have to wait, but I really enjoyed these episodes and I can’t wait for the drama to come
It's funny that you say it was a slow burn because some people were like it was too fast. I just love it and I actually did read the books. No spoilers until after you see the second half.
The people saying it was too quick need to go back and rewatch the first two seasons. Though it's obvious Pen's been in love from day one, there are also strong clues that Colin loves her as early as Season 1, Episode 4. It was the kiss that finally woke him up and made him realize what was already there for years.
I think it's a slow burn this season but there's far more storylines going on at once this season. Penelope, Francesca, lady bridgerton, the mondrakes, the featheringtons making an heir, Eloise, the queen, the other bridgerton son 😮💨
Great rvw Queen E! Them scene were steamy indeed! Interesting to meet more of Lady Danburys family. Featherington sisters are hilarious 😅. Cressida's softer side was nice! She has one ❤. Love the quiet but palpable connection between Fran and John. 😊
Agreed they are the only people that caught my attention along with the fact also caught my attention to so I am interested in her story also. As far as Colin and Penelope is a no for me it is a no for me. I cannot fathom the idea of them being together, simply because one of the parties even interested I just can’t tolerate it.
So happy to see your review :) Hope you feel better soon I'm loving Penelope & Colin and their dynamic - can't wait to see what happens next. I'm also loving Francesca and can't wait to see her romance with Kilmartin The race to get pregnant between the two Featherington sisters was hilarious I like the call out on the similarities between Penelope and Cressida - interesting to see how that plays out in part 2 I also like Debling and felt bad for him - wonder if he's going to be back in part 2 as he was courting Cressida as well I'm concerned about the hint of romance between Violet and Marcus - since Lady Danbury doesn't seem to like him I'm not really interested in the Kent storyline but curious to see where it goes anyway. The kid is the heir and I'd be more interested in seeing more of how things will change for him. Regarding the question about why it is scandalous for Colin to help Penelope find a husband - I believe it is because it is family members (parents, guardians, elder siblings) and possibly other women who help women find husbands in the ton. Having a male who is unrelated to her be the one who is helping Penelope find a husband raises questions on how close they are and why he wouldn't want her himself.
Totally valid. But also pen has no male relatives and her mum has given up hope for her so I see why she did it. Kinda just seems like they love to gossip so that’s why it’s such an issue
So excited for Penelope’s story! Her and the Featherington’s have always been my favorites since season 1. And dare I say, Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) has the most sex appeal out of all the Bridgerton women imo 🤭 Her scenes are steamy! 😊
I'm so relieved to know I'm not the only person who has that carriage scene on repeat 😂. I'm looking forward to the 2nd half. I'm here for the love and the drama 🍿
23:42 he used to write to Penelope about his travels in the previous two seasons and he wanted to talk to her about it this time, but she was avoiding him. She even stopped writing him to him which is also when he was discussing his travel with her.
What I love about that scene in the carriage is that we literally live in a time where dragons are on our screen we can be in space whatever but we are always going to be so taken and obsessed with two people in love.
Colin 'coaching' Pen would be considered scandalous because yes, they're unchaperoned but also because men and unmarried ladies were not allowed to be so familiar to even speak about flirting or anything even close to that.
Honest tho it wasnt even hated to be a big girl (especially one like Penelope with a pretty face) because it meant they had wealth enough to afford to be big. Skinny is a 20th and 21st century trend lol
@Pillowlips77 Like you have stated, that's JANE AUSTINS idea in her writing but it's actually a completely false narrative. In reality, the regency era favored plumper girls as seen through their portraits of the women considered the most beautiful at the time. They were all alsightly plump. Not necessarily as big as Penelopes character exactly, but by no mean the skinny, fair girls you are referring to here. That is simply what Jane Austin made popular in her works but don't confuse it for fact.
Ahh so great to see this review on your channel :D Looks like we watch the same tv shows :D I joined when you were reviewing Love is Blind, then watched Circle, and now this
Not the only black couple taking up space but you have so much empathy for Lord Dublin. Lord Dublin is a very self absorbed character, Penelope would have been miserable in the marriage. Taking up space… 🧐
I agree about the Mondritch subplot, it took up too much time. I would have liked to have seen some Polin flashbacks ie: their first meeting would have been better served as a flash back rather than just cursory exposition. I feel too much time was spent with peripheral characters rather than the leads. I could have used more Pen/Debling interaction and more Colin unpacking his feelings.
From the moment I heard that they were going to turn Colin into a rake I knew that they ruined him. And ruined the entire story for me. They should’ve just copied and paste the fanfic because they did it better. The previous show runner said that Colin was the sensitive one because he was raised amongst his sisters 👯♀️ playing dolls 🎀and the age gap between him and his two older brothers. Makes him less likely to be a womanizer like his older brothers. so in season 1 and 2 they were setting Colin up to be a romantic demisexual. Hence why he wouldn’t kiss Marina. Because Penelope and Colin are sentimental writers who document every monumental event in their life’s. We as the romantic fan base were expecting The friends to lover❤️Trope. To be more intimate. A story where Colin and Penelope have their first awakening together. I was hoping that the show would give me an improved version of Odysseus. as Colin. I didn’t like Greek myth Odysseus. I didn’t think he deserved Penelope. I wanted virgin demisexual Colins so bad and I was so pissed when I heard that we weren’t getting him for the TV show. I thought he would be our first demisexual representation, but NO we got another rake. (very original). It’s not like we got that with the past two Male leads, and we’re also getting that with the future male leads. So I guess they just intend to keep telling the same story over and over. The new showrunner (Jess) had all the groundwork to tell a different kind of intimate. Sexual story. With different characters that are different people and it being just as compelling as the sexually liberated and experienced male leads. I had no problem with him being a Showboat, who is charming with a false public image. Him being a virgin erotic writer. Would show that Colin has dichotomy and layers to him like Penelope who is whistledown and people think she’s more mature or older than she is. I specifically only wanted him to be a whore for Penelope. Only Rabbid for Penelope. I wanted her to be his first kiss and first time, especially since we were getting a secondhand proposal. now she gets no first and everything is secondhanded and a hand me down. I guess the new show writer ✍🏻 is sticking with the season 1 and 2 formula thinking that this type of man increases sex appeal but NO! All it did was gross 🤮 me out. The TV 📺 version of Colin. Especially since I know how good it could have been. The story that actually Polin Stan’s write ✍🏻 did a far superior job.
I think they wanted to add him being with other women to make two points: 1. He needed to feel the difference between physical touch and genuine connection/intimacy. He wrote in his diaries that despite his conquests he felt distanced/detached. He needed to realize what it's supposed to feel like being physical with someone you have a connection to. (The first kiss with Pen). 2: I think they wanted to show that he could be himself around Pen. As he said to Pen: You can learn to be charming, to be someone else, to be fake in order to attract partners. He felt like he had to be that to be accepted by the other men as he felt very insecure. But he realized more and more that Pen had his back and that she loved him for him.
@@TheBigMe0w 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 I don’t know if words can convey the depth of how they hurt me with Colin. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 (Colin had been taught, all his young life, that it was his duty as a gentleman to protect, care for, and defend the fairer sex.) The story had so much potential and they could’ve done it better without the Rake plot. The friends to lover. Trope. Is for the deeply romantic. 🥰 it’s the innocence of love. ❤️ they alienated Colin for his fan base. When they made him into a wannabe Casanova. The friends to lover audience. Are deeply romantic we don’t want frivolous fucking. This was supposed to be our season. We were robbed of something beautiful 😍
I've also watched that scene an ungodly amount of times😂. I just love how they both put it on the line, crossing over from friends to love interests is very hard and brave. Whooo steamy. Sexy, daring and so sweet. I 💕 this scene.🥲
I think they developed Fransesca and her Lord to be on the neurodivergent or autism spectrum. ❤❤ They’re a lot of people with disabilities season as well as more diversity. ♿️
Am I the only one that doesn't love the story of Penelope and Colin? He tried to not love her and even promised people, that he would never be interested in her he basically told her that before he proposed and even the proposal was not in nice reaffirming words. He told her she was not desirable in the eyes of society and it paines him to have feelings for her and he tried to suppress those feelings by ducking leaving the country. That's just an insult! Why not tell her why you love her and what makes her special to you? Penelope deserves better!
So for the scandal, in that time period (from my understanding) is that he is an eligible bachelor and hanging out with an eligible bachelorette without being chaperoned is a no-no as improper things can happen while “helping” lol but also needing help to “seduce” men which was more for a lady of the night that’s why when she tries again to flirt at the party afterwards she was outed but they brush her off as a greedy and desperate (it was always odd to me bc the men assumed that women knew just innately how to attract a man but then we have them not knowing how to make babies so 😅) I hope that helps!
I'm not a fan of this season so far at all. I don't feel that the writers have done enough to make me care about Colin. All I know about him is that he likes to travel. I would have loved to have learned more about him as a person to help me feel more invested and like it makes sense for him and Penelope to be together. For me, I would have liked the writers to do a better job of showing us Colin through Penelope's eyes - why does she even like him?? Maybe some flashbacks would have been helpful or conversations about previous shared experiences would have helped. I also would love to know more about Penelope too. Due to this, I don't care about them as a couple so all the romance stuff makes no sense to me. It's a shame because in all the other series I thought the writers did a great job of making the leads' relationships make sense. Hopefully more of that will come in the second half.
Penelope practicing speaking with suitors in Colin isn’t scandalous, it’s awkward. Penelope is considered a spinster, so she does not need a chaperone. When she practices on Colin , it’s more of a surprised to Colin and Penelope is shocked she actually said that.
I felt like there was way too many storylines going on this season way more than usual and I hope that the second half of the season focuses more on the main couple, because I don’t know how they’ll tie up all of those loose ends and give us enough Colin and Pen to satisfy the fandom within four episodes
Ok explanation for why it’s scandalous… mainly because Colin is an eligible male suitor himself… and also they really cannot be alone together without chaperones either, so yeah if it were say Violet or Kate helping her out that would be different, but since he is eligible to get married himself and he is not courting her or expressing interest in her at all but instead helping her get married to someone else
My thoughts: 1. What is Bridgeton's obsession with black men being with a white women? Meanwhile NEVER put a black women as the love interest? 2. Penelope deserves a proper proposal that girl went through wayyy to much to have lust before love. Colin realized he was "in love" with her after a bit of lust. 3. Not enough screen time was given to the MAIN characters. 4. That black family was only shown for diversity they were useless to the storyline 5. Netflix made us wait 2 long years for a rushed storyline. I am disappointed however I will indeed still be tuning in for part 2.
1. Lady Danbury was with violets dad a white man and queen Charolette is with George also a white man and even though Kate isn’t black she is a colored women with a white man 2. I completely agree Colin got off to easy 3. I just commented about how there were too many story lines and not enough Polin 😭 4. I enjoy Mondrics story but my mom didn’t care about them either so I can see your point 5. Yep this was disappointing
Man I wasn’t really feeling Colin and Penelope. Penelope was too thirsty this season. The way she kept hyping Colin up all the time like girl and then she begged him to kiss her like bffr. Their storyline moved so fast it just felt one sided and Colin liked her after the kiss and it seems more lust than love on his side. I’m ready to see lady Bridgerton get her boo and he is fiiineee. The featheringtons were so funny this season and Francesca and her boo are so cute, I think he just needs to amp up the romance. Lord Deblin wanted someone he got along with and someone to come home to. I don’t think he was looking for a love match.
I’m sorry I couldn’t get past the dumb POUT and hang mouth expressions they’ve directed Collin with for this personality switch of his. I just couldn’t stand the “Fvck boy” personality they were going for. I think they wasted so much time on some unnecessary stories eg. criseda, I don’t care for the villian to good girl story. If they’d shown us more Collin and Pen I’d have believed they’re love more. Rn it just feels like infatuation and jealousy rushed it. My take. So far 6/10
My friends and I are having many discussions about the number of people of color in this season!! I'd love to have your opinion on this. I love the diversity!
I love all three seasons, plus Queen Charlotte. But my least favourite amongst all of the season has to be season 2, so I guess it’s about preference. Season 2 just felt overdone, I prefer the subtlety in the protagonist emotional developments of season 3.
I’m i the only one who feels like the polin story line is boring. I think Penelope should’ve stand up a little more to colin. In total I feel like there should have been more scenes dedicated to them ☹️
It's ridiculous to have empathy for the enemy. Penelope is WRONG through and through. I don't understand the Eloise hate. At the core, ppl wanna get away with doing bad things & that's not how good wins.
Pen is a complex character. A woman doing what she can to be something in a time when her sex have so many restraints. Eloise won’t understand this bc her family is not only rich but also loving. Pen being LW gives her some agency and to be able to do what she loves which is writing. She have money to fall back to when sht hits the fan in a time that women can’t own anything. Her writing about Marina saved Colin, her writing about Eloise saved Eloise. It’s not black & white. The motivation and the context matters.
@@lovequinn7521Eloise is an even more complex character. I don’t think she realises yet that despite all her honesty and feminism that she wants romance too. But in respect of her friendship with Penelope, I totally get why she’s so hurt and upset with her. We the audience get to see all Penelope’s reactions to situations in full, we are privy to things that Eloise has no clue about, because Penelope has never really been honest with Eloise. That’s were all this angst stems from Eloise is still in the dark about who Penelope truly is… So I’m more team Eloise, all though this season 3 is so far my favourite love story.
@@LB-ih7hn oh don’t get me wrong, I adore Eloise and I want them to mend their friendship. I’m just disagreeing about the enemy and being wrong through and through part of OPs comment. Complexity is what makes their characters stand out. I won’t pit these wonderful young women against each or hate on Eloise or Pen bc of what they did that the other aren’t privy to. I like how this season is shining some light on why Cressida is the way she is. I don’t need a vilified woman character bc of what their time is demanding of them on my screen.
I was super disappointed with this season. Colin and Penelope are boring. Francesca is wallpaper. Nothing will ever compare to Kate and Anthony. The recap shows on TH-cam are my favourite part.
I think this season was very polarizing and it comes down to personal preferences. I didn’t love season 2, I felt like Kate and Anthony were always at odds with each other, they were both too headstrong! It was annoying to me, even though their chemistry was amazing. I LOVE the slow burn between Colin and Pen. It’s so much more subtle, I think that’s why some people find it boring. To me, the subtlety of their longing for each other is similar to Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. It takes a while for Mr. Darcy to realize the depth of his feelings, similar to Colin. I just melt with that type of storyline 🥰
The Fetheringtons were pure comedy this entire season.
I’m sorry but Lord Debblin was FOINE. He could leave for 3 years and I’d be waiting right there in the window with my book😅
Ok, I’m not the only one that was eying him. The way he looked at her when he said she could make a man wither. Wow! He seemed pretty chill and sexy.
With your book in one of the MANY rooms in his big Mayfair house*
Right?! I was watching the trailer video on TikTok, pausing it like “Who is this big tall fine man?! Get it, Penelope!”
that would be ideal. interesting to see how part 2 is gonna go. Lady Whistledown exposure. those bridgerton bros....❤❤❤
😂😂😂😂😂
John getting the music rewritten for Francesca was everything

I'm loving Penelope & Colin and their dynamic - can't wait to see what happens next.
I'm also loving Francesca and can't wait to see her romance with Kilmartin
The race to get pregnant between the two Featherington sisters was hilarious
I like the call out on the similarities between Penelope and Cressida - interesting to see how that plays out in part 2
I also like Debling and felt bad for him - wonder if he's going to be back in part 2 as he was courting Cressida as well
I'm concerned about the hint of romance between Violet and Marcus - since Lady Danbury doesn't seem to like him
I'm not really interested in the Kent storyline but curious to see where it goes anyway. The kid is the heir and I'd be more interested in seeing more of how things will change for him.

Your review was perfect!! Enjoyed it thoroughly!!
@queen if u could hear the scream i let out at the end of Episode 4. You would have thought 911 needed to be called.
Penelope went from zero options, to having two men trying to win her affections!
I love you calling Francesca the “sparkler of the season.” I think it’s 💎 but I like your version
What I love about that scene in the carriage is that we literally live in a time where dragons are on our screen we can be in space whatever but we are always going to be so taken and obsessed with two people in love.
*PENELOPE not Eloise (around 7:50 )😊
Colin 'coaching' Pen would be considered scandalous because yes, they're unchaperoned but also because men and unmarried ladies were not allowed to be so familiar to even speak about flirting or anything even close to that.
I really like the Mondrichs and am so happy we're seeing more of them. Great review.
First one here! Love your reviews hun❤
"Mhm, we'll see how you ruin her, sir," 😏😂🤣
Lord Deblin was so sweet. I felt so bad for him. And are they trying to get us to like Cressida? I did feel bad for her a little bit.
Same here. Seeing how her dad reacts to her. It's her 3rd season out and keeps losing her prospects.
Honest tho it wasnt even hated to be a big girl (especially one like Penelope with a pretty face) because it meant they had wealth enough to afford to be big. Skinny is a 20th and 21st century trend lol
That was in early 1600s. This is Jane Austen period. Skinny, pale and tall was the beauty standard by now.
Ahh so great to see this review on your channel :D Looks like we watch the same tv shows :D I joined when you were reviewing Love is Blind, then watched Circle, and now this
Just wondering if you are reviewing the Ultimatum South Africa.
Yes she did and is
I'm ashamed 😮 I just went tru my notifications and saw she did. I'm about to dive in.
Love your breakdown of the season
EVERYTHING I WAS WAITING FOR
I love them together and this season ❤️
They made a point of showing his writing and her liking it, I think he might end cowriting with her as Mrs. Whistledown

I don’t know if words can convey the depth of how they hurt me with Colin.
🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
(Colin had been taught, all his young life, that it was his duty as a gentleman to protect, care for, and defend the fairer sex.)
Colin declaring that he is a true gentleman in season 1. [Means]
As a gentlemen he considered himself worthy of veneration due to earn respect not handed it on a silver platter, his unearned entitlement had never warped his sense of moral conscience. He does not see women as decorative object or a prize to be won. 🥇
This is why Penelope loves him.
☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
I honestly won’t ever forgive the writers for ruining the character.
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
When they took Colins, sweet innocence and naivety. They took something special from him. Because the way that Penelope loves, Colin is so innocent 😇 and pure. Having Violet do a scene saying how sensitive and different. Colin is. Doesn’t salvage the damage that they’ve done. You know what they could’ve done and said they could’ve showed us that he was this person. Instead of breaking the number one ☝️ visual media rule show and tell, don’t just tell.
🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏🌏Colins desire to travel 🧳 is not to Rake across the continent 🌏having sex escapades, to fetishize it into his journal
📔 he travels for beauty for adventure architecture, culture and history because he’s a nerd 🧐 just like Penelope.
The fact is, Colin was a different character. He was set up to be a different character. (TVShow Colin) why couldn’t he be the sweet💛Hufflepuff🦡. Foodie 🍰who seek purpose and greater meaning with his life with intimacy?
😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
Imagine if he’d come back as hot, sturdy Colin but still had his puppy 🐶 energy. Had all the ladies swooning over him but he doesn’t pay any attention because he’s focused on Pen’s lessons.
Then he notices all the attention he’s getting because there’s one person who he’s not getting attention from anymore because the lessons work.
🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦
The worst part is Lord Debling by comparison, a truly secure man 🧍♂️ who stands for his own conviction. Who is truly his own unapology self no matter. How society snares at him. And think him odd. He is who he wants to be. You can actually respect him. And admire him. For a man who stands on his own conviction. That’s truly a man.
I wanted virgin demisexual Colins so bad and I was so pissed when I heard that we weren’t getting him for the TV show.
He should have been our first demisexual representation, we had all the groundwork but NO we got another rake. (very original). It’s not like we got that with the past two Male leads, and we’re also getting that with the future male leads.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
The disgusting mentality of a Rake an insecure man who uses women and their bodies as less so they can feel like more. Throwing money at systematically oppressed women for cheap thrills, isn’t sexy it’s not romantic. Only for his soulmate to change him. They didn’t have to make him a Rake to tell the same story of insecurity.
🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Why keep telling the same story about a rake. Who’s raking away his problems until. The soulmate changes him. The story had so much potential and they could’ve done it better without the Rake plot. The friends to lover. Trope. Is for the deeply romantic. 🥰 it’s the innocence of love. ❤️ they alienated Colin for his fan base. When they made him into a wannabe Casanova. They could easily made him a fake Casanova who’s just lying 🤥 to fit in. That would’ve been something different. It would’ve made him more endearing and intriguing instead of another. Man Whore
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
It would’ve been just as spicy 🥵 repressed newly discovering virgins. There is such a thing as horny virgins. The excited exploration. The cute hilarious awkwardness. The wonder of a whole New World unlocked Wasted potential.
The fanfic did it better.
First awakenings are extremely sexy. And there’s so much more special.
🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️
if the two teens in blue Lagoon could figure it out on the deserted island. 🏝️ there’s no reason why Colin and Penelope can’t figure it out especially since Colin has the knowledge of the logistics of how it works. The friends to lover audience. Are deeply romantic we don’t want frivolous fucking. This was supposed to be our season.
We were robbed of something beautiful 😍
Girl where hve you been! I missed ur recap vids. Apparently Love island UK is coming back this summer, pls recap n review for us❤
I've also watched that scene an ungodly amount of times😂.
Great review!
Change your subtitles to English 5.1 Descriptive then watch your favorite scene AGAIN 😉
I’ve read that Francesca & John present as on the autistic spectrum, & so this may be why their romance is not as similar as others’.
I have not read the books but when you recap it, it almost seems like it’s setting up Penelope to get pregnant and inherit the Featherington Estate.
I really liked this review. Except for your shade to the black couple. I am definitely curious to see what you think of part 2.
HOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED 😭
The family are a tool, they are being used to explain the unwritten rules of the ton to the hoi poloi (the audience) as they learn, we learn.
In the beginning u actually thought Lady Wistletown was Lady Danbury 😅
love other people watching shows so I don’t have to!
I’m enjoying this season. But why did they break it up?
Love this reaction ❤
I felt like there was way too many storylines going on this season way more than usual and I hope that the second half of the season focuses more on the main couple, because I don’t know how they’ll tie up all of those loose ends and give us enough Colin and Pen to satisfy the fandom within four episodes
How am I JUST seeing this?
Ok explanation for why it’s scandalous… mainly because Colin is an eligible male suitor himself… and also they really cannot be alone together without chaperones either, so yeah if it were say Violet or Kate helping her out that would be different, but since he is eligible to get married himself and he is not courting her or expressing interest in her at all but instead helping her get married to someone else
My thoughts:
4. That black family was only shown for diversity they were useless to the storyline
5. Netflix made us wait 2 long years for a rushed storyline. I am disappointed however I will indeed still be tuning in for part 2.
1. Lady Danbury was with violets dad a white man and queen Charolette is with George also a white man and even though Kate isn’t black she is a colored women with a white man
2. I completely agree Colin got off to easy
3. I just commented about how there were too many story lines and not enough Polin 😭
4. I enjoy Mondrics story but my mom didn’t care about them either so I can see your point
5. Yep this was disappointing
Can we get a young attractive dark skin Black female main lead on Bridgterton!!
Just watched it ❤
Yeah, they could do without the Benedict side story. Although, I do like Benedict. I love Francesca & Jon Stirling.
Not sure why women would want a rich husband that’s never present… Lord Debllin ain’t it ☕️
Man I wasn’t really feeling Colin and Penelope.
My take. So far 6/10
Francesca and Kilmartin presents as being on the spectrum. They’ve found their person in each other.
I did'nt like her asking him for a kiss 🤷🏿♀️ it felt too forced, however it worked out for her so hey!
I think the second half is coming out next month
My friends and I are having many discussions about the number of people of color in this season!! I'd love to have your opinion on this. I love the diversity!
Not feeling season 3 at all !!! My least favourite season of the Brigerton Trilogy..the love scenes of Penelope made me cringe !!
I love all three seasons, plus Queen Charlotte. But my least favourite amongst all of the season has to be season 2, so I guess it’s about preference. Season 2 just felt overdone, I prefer the subtlety in the protagonist emotional developments of season 3.
I want Eloise and Cressandra together. I cant wait until the next episodes. Thanks for the recap.
❤
I’m i the only one who feels like the polin story line is boring. I think Penelope should’ve stand up a little more to colin. In total I feel like there should have been more scenes dedicated to them ☹️
I don’t get the Eloise hate. Penelope was only transparent to the audiences, not to Eloise, so I understand Eloise’s stance.
❤❤❤❤
Yeah I skipped season 2, so I guess speak for yourself. That season bored me. I couldn't care less about Anthony. But this season is IT for me.
@@izzysanchez2883I love all seasons. But season 2 was my least favourite. I prefer season 3 as well. It’s just about preference I guess.
Penelope and Colin aren't even interesting enough for their own season sorry sis, y'all gagging over nothing lol
Lord Deblin was so sweet. I felt so bad for him. And are they trying to get us to like Cressida? I did feel bad for her a little bit.
