This was great! I love how Pen and Eloise are bff's again. I also loved that Colin, even when mad at her, protected her, still had desire and passion in his heart for her, and ultimately unbridled love won out.
The scene with them dancing at the end is giving 2005 Pride and Prejudice, when everyone in the room literally disappears and its just the two of them 😭😭😭😭 GOD, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

It's not hilarious this has been their song forever. The fandom always dreamed that this song would play on Polin season.
Luke Newton sang this song in real life and it was always their song according to their fans.
The song yellow is about unrequited love. So it honestly fits their theme perfectly because for so long Pen was in love with a man who barely knew she existed. That was their story, until Colin woke up one day and found himself pining for her too. Its beautiful.

Luke Newton requested they have that song in this season because he has been saying for years it’s a very Polin song. Nicola wanted Happier than Ever by Billie Eilish; so they each got a song of their choice on the show
I Liked Season 3. The only thing I was disappointed in was Ben stuff I could do without that and have more polin. Considering it was their season, the other seasons had more focus on the main couple. Not enough pen and colin happy moments in part 2.

Yep people aren't very observant - this season was about the little things. There's literally so much symbolism too...swans, yellow and blue, butterflies, bees, the friendship between Polin etc
I totally agree. I've even read the books, and I love what they did with this season. It was probably my favorite season ( excluding Queen Charlotte, I adored it). This season felt like so much more to me.
I definitely am in the minority there with you. There are things with them I would’ve loved to see more of or longer scenes but I still think it was a great representation of their love and working through it! It’s hard to tell if more people loved it or hated it but I don’t agree with a lot of what people are saying who are hating it. I think they are missing a lot tbh. Plus we’ll get more from them next season like the showrunner has made it a point to say they have a lot more story left! So more lovey dovery moments more spicy moments more funny moments of them just being them too!
I feel like they rushed the ending. They needed one more episode so we could revel in the fact that they were now a united force, and a pregnant Pen with a doting Colin, that would have been nice, rather than jumping ahead a whole year.

Colin overshadowed Simon and Anthony for me. After watching Colin I think Simon and Anthony both were kinda toxic. Colin is the real green flag, I love his softness so much ❤

This season was all over the place, the writers trying to squeeze every storyline into 4 episodes. Colin being upset with Pen the entire 3 episodes, one love scene, a 3 seconds of Pen riding Colin but the way they promoted it Like? Seriously?

I can't forgive the decision to have Colin find out about LW until after they had been intimate. For all the talk about consent in the Press Tour, it's totally undermined by having Colin be unaware. And it makes Pen far less likeable for lying to him.
The amount of PR for this mediocrity is what pisses me off the most. You can’t convince me that all of the press tour moments were not scripted because if we knew what they had included in the episodes no one would have been that excited.
3 episodes of them fighting??? Even before the fighting started they were way too tense. Their wedding was almost a miserable one for fucks sake! Colin leaving Pen alone in the street at night twice? Them barely speaking to each other? Jumping straight to having a baby already with nothing in between? And where the fuck was that promised ‘Nick & Jess’ kiss? All that while we had to watch all of Bens’ 50 cringy sex scenes when it’s not even his season? Wtf was this shit?

Sure the foundation of their relationship started in s1 but they are just side characters in s1 and 2 i wish they were more focused in their OWN SEASON. 😭😭😭 I wanna see them more as a couple, more romance and sweet things sweet conversations i cant believe that was it!

I guess maybe if you are falling in love hard it can be more emotionally, but after the crush and romance it's glides back to something else. Maybe that is good??? I loved that even though he was so mad, he didn't want to be far. He slept right in front of the door, still loyal and protective, and near. Him not wanting to have intimacy while feeling all confused and angry is totally beautiful IMO. 😊
