A big reason a person doesn't reach out, and ends up consumed by hopelessness is because of the toxic positivity bullshit people spew. You can't support anyone by saying "Its not so bad, everyone goes through this...(etc)". This stuff often makes someone think that their feelings don't mean jack, furthering the hopelessness feeling. Now this may not have anything to do with the video, but I felt it was a message I wanted to get across for anyone who has someone in their life who is going through a difficult time. This whole situation is truly depressing.
The kid got exactly what he wanted. Taking time away from the people who actually need police help. He leapt out with a rifle, airsoft or not, the man made the call and planned it. He wanted to die. I just feel sorry for the parents who had to witness all this take place.
I agree with but I'm going to push it a bit further I'm 40 years old and for about the last 20 years or so parents have been doing a terrible job raising weak soft ass kids and enabling and coddling there children and this is the outcome the kids get mad or don't get there way and want to die I've seen this in my family my friends children and the children in my community it all starts at home
I'm not sure I could have stayed away. I would have run right to my baby, or kicked the weapon away. Probably would have been shot, as well, but I don't think I would have self control over that high of emotions.
Making another person kill you without their consent is just incredibly selfish. Doesn't matter if it's a police officer, train operator or whoever. They have to live with the image of you dying etched into their retina for the rest of their lives. Nobody deserves that.
I am a bit surprised that you guys didn’t talk about how the officer who did not take any shots had a misfire at 1:50 into the video. Not "insight", but "incite" Hello?!?
most airsoft guns look EXTREMELY real, its almost impossible to tell unless you are very close
Here we go with, “that’s my son” as if that makes him an angel. 🙄 It may not have been a real gun, but they couldn’t take that chance. OAN: I understand the parents trying to help their child. I would have kicked the gun out of the way and risked my own safety to help my child.
That’s sad, prayers for the family.
*incite
Well done by officer's ...thank you
I'm not going to pretend like I know the young man was going through, but man the situation is totally messed up. I couldn't imagine if I were a parent to see this happen to my child, and do absolutely nothing while it's happening. Every person that was present or involved in a situation, will never be the same...
*Ummm.....* South Central, *Los Angeles, CA.*
I think as a Dad, I would have calmly kicked the weapon aside, while telling the officers. Then get to work trying to save my boy.
My God, what a terrible day.
Thats what i was thinking as a brother i would've came out in shorts and no shirt, with my hands up kick the gun
***You guys missed officer 2 who had an empty chamber and had a “click” when he pulled the trigger!!! ***
Do people need a high school class on how to act around police?

bro needed mental help ??? did you not even watch the video.
A lot of them drop out anyways
They literally just lost their son, bro. Rationality goes out the window in a horrible situation like that.
I disagree with your take, it doesn't consider human emotion in my opinion.
Dad's lucky he didn't catch a bullet too, walking up from behind like that.
I think the word you meant to type for the title is "incite"
So sad! RIP. God Bless the family.
Kid got what he wanted.
I'm more impressed the officers understood Spanish! Nice work.
I can see this is how "Kicking Mustang" will end his days!
"Incite"
this is too sad. Parents, please guide your kids right. show them bunch of love and make them mentally strong and let them know no matter what there's always a solution.
Just a sad situation all around.
So glad these officers made it home safely. Great job.
What was the "click" sound? Like from the one officer weapon not firing. That was weird to me.
The loudest click you ever hear when your gun doesn’t fire. More than likely either not chambered a round or a straight up bad primer or light primer strike
Seems that he pulled the trigger but it only clicked because either the safety was on or because he didn't chamber a round yet
I think he didn't have a round chambered. And all his training of tap, rack bang was forgotten when he noticed that he did not have to fire at the suspect any longer.
@@alexcusma4908 Ahh gotcha.
Similar thing happened in Bristol, CT. Unfortunately 2 officers were killed before the perp was put down.
Lmao insight
lol! 5th grade education.
“That’s my son! You shot my son!” Maybe teach your son not to walk out the house with a rifle when police arrive and this wouldn’t have happened. 🤯
that boy was suicidal have some respect for the lost soul
that opening alone from mike deserves a like.
Love this channel lots of great information for you average citizens also
Very sad that young men want to die these days.
Thank you officers
I'm not sure I could have stayed away. I would have run right to my baby, or kicked the weapon away. Probably would have been shot, as well, but I don't think I would have self control over that high of emotions.
Very sad, for the young man, the family, and the officers. That poor woman's wailing will haunt their dreams forever.
Making another person kill you without their consent is just incredibly selfish. Doesn't matter if it's a police officer, train operator or whoever. They have to live with the image of you dying etched into their retina for the rest of their lives. Nobody deserves that.
It's a toy he's my son!? Then why did you let him answer the fucking door with it?! Charge all of them!
I am a bit surprised that you guys didn’t talk about how the officer who did not take any shots had a misfire at 1:50 into the video. He steps to the shooting officer’s right raises his pistol and it goes “Click” then instead of getting it back into the fight with remedial action he goes back to the radio leaving his partner to handle the threat by himself.
So many people affected by this. We should all pray for Mom, Dad and the officers! Such a sad situation for that young man to feel this was his only way out. To many young people over the last 3 years have resorted to suicide in one way or another. The parents are blaming themselves no doubt and they genuinely had no clue. Just very sad!
