You don't have a view of the Mediterranean Sea anywhere in Istanbul. You need to go about 500 miles south of where you are to get those views. BTW Sultanahmet and Taksim are on the same side of the Bosphorus. That body of water you thought was a river was actually the Golden Horn. Pro Tip: Never try to get traditional Turkish food from a place with an English name. You probably just had an Adana Kebap at 2 to 3 times the cost of a good one.
I am clearly a stereotypical stupid Brit 😂 I realised about the med right after I posted the video and I was a bit limited on choice for food near Blue Mosque. Lesson learned!
