this fella needs a tv deal,no BS just gets on with it and explains everything so most of us can understand,no mumbling no ummm errr or tripping over hes words ,well done 10/10
Why for doing what? Thinking he's done something wonderful George the gorilla at the zoo could make 600hp with a supercharger, where are the cutting edge 2000hp cars? so a TV show no mate
another great video Mark, thank you teaching us all and being very detailed about what makes the right combination in tuning and picking the right hardware. Not many people would go in-depth like you do. So thank you :)
alot happier combo for the street ! i have always loved massive cams but now im getting older and realise i enjoy tamer combos and more low down torque for daily drivers.
Very happy with Marks work. Drove heaps better than the test drive when I bought it. Drove it 285km home. Averaged 9.5l to 100km wIth a few slick overtaking manoeuvres and a couple of squirts :). Would give the zx14 a fright I reckon
you answered a question I was worried about lol. I have a VE SS Series 2 ute, cam, otr, 3 inch system, and am considering supercharging in the future, but was worried it would turn into a fuel whore when cruising. I don't mind it having a drink when messing about, but on the hwy with cruise control on needs to be manageable. :)
This is late, but seriously how is this possible. What is this 25k at least of mods and like the cheapest, shittest wheels. I guess its not a bad sleeper. You wouldn't look at this and think "600rwhp", you would think a stock shitbox.
Rims are a individual choice, you might think they're shit but the owner might love them. I've got stock rims on my VE SSV and have had comments too get after market ones. I've always said " why? I like the factory set".
I can't imagine any heavier than any other aftermarket or OEM rim. When I used to do do rim repairs at a panel shop I found most wheels were heavy regardless of price.. Only exception to that is semi forged and forged designs like Koya etc which were a night and day difference.. But were also talking about rims that cost 3 or 4 times the amount these wheels do.
come back to sometime too much cam and boost isnt always a good thing i guess too that the higher boost was just pumping hot air as well with hurts power
16 pound ....way to much for a daily , good explanation though I enjoyed how detailed you went and what is going on/problems, not many people are as easy to understand! ill be keeping an eye out for your videos, I would come into the shop but I am a ford man! good stuff!

This guy is great. Definitely knows his stuff…..would love to take my SSV to him.
My brother got some work done on his VE SS a while ago by Mark...he's switched on and knows his stuff... definitely recommend him
very well explained mark
+James Vozar Thanks James, Cheers.
that sounds nice, sounds a bit like my dads HSV Clubsport just without the supercharger
I wished you were in Qld Mark you would have another VE SS L98 to Super Charge. Love the tech tips and channel been watching the ages now.
What an amazing machine, i love it.
how have i only just discovered this channel
Love the ride along need more Holden ride along videos love it
Really informative brilliant video
Thanks Nik, we try.
all that money for those mods, but still went down to his local Bob Jane for those wheels hahaha, imagine the unsprung weigh on those big bastards.
This is late, but seriously how is this possible. What is this 25k at least of mods and like the cheapest, shittest wheels.

Ever consider he wanted those rims to give it the wannabe look as a sleeper?

where is your workshop ?
wow good tuning even drive and test for his customers dont see this everyday
could you have gone with 2000cc injectors so it wasnt leaning it out ?
Yes bigger injectors would have helped a bit, but there was a lot more wrong than that.
A workshop I would support for sure, sick of seeing lebo workshops. cannot wait to get a Ve SS ute!
Whine is a little loud imo
How big is the cam?
Great knowledge, pitty I can't have you work on my Chevy ss
Cheers
Would a Single Row Timing Set be sufficient for a LS9 Camshaft into an L98 Mark or is A Dual set always going to be more accurate for longer?
Single row would be fine for that
forgot to Mention its' got an older Magnuson MP2300 Blower on it too!
come back to sometime too much cam and boost isnt always a good thing i guess too that the higher boost was just pumping hot air as well with hurts power
MR66HD exactly which is why Boost is all but a useless measurement except the level of restriction on trying to force air into the engine.
Excellent video Mark....gave me lots of info on the setting up of these cars, Is this car running a 2.92 -3.25 or 3.45 ratio in the diff?
From memory this car is running the 3.9 diff, you could also run the 4.11 diff to suit the 22" wheels
Where abouts are you located?
You wouldnt happen to be the same Mark that does the shooting videos aswell?
Sure am.
God that sounds good!
hey mark, whats a setup like this cost??
Email for quotes.

Hello I have commoder ve ss 2007 , can you make supercharged for this? Same this car?
Sounds like a vaccum
I hope that cars tide down
This thing whines almost as much as my ex
those rims are illegal haha
Fall down How’s that? I swear every second VE I see has Advantis haha
@@15sixmedia illegal to have over 19" on ve commodore, even though most have 20"s, only asshole cops really enforce it, the rest dont give 2 shits
@@freedblowfish3705 how so? VE HSV come with 20" from factory
