Piccolo decides to take a new approach to his training, learning a technique from King Kai that suits him surprisingly well. How will Piccolo training with King Kai for Kaioken affect the story? I feel like all the non-Saiyan Z-Fighters should've learned Kaioken. It would've let them keep up with the Saiyans and thus keep their relevance for quite a bit longer.
But they dont want them to be relevant. They want the saiyans to be the center of focus
that would have been awesome, I want to see Krillin get a god form
@@Nehauon More specifically, they want Goku to be the focus. That's why Goku gets stronger than even other Saiyans who work just as hard or even harder than him (looking at you Vegeta) and tends to get transformations first, which then trickle down to the rest of the Saiyans.

Assuming Gero didn't need years to modify the twins, they should be 17 when appearing in the Android Saga in Age 767
Going by that they should have been born in Age 750, meaning they were 3 years old when Demon King Piccolo wrecks havoc in Age 753

Piccolo is more suitable for Kaioken than Goku or the other Z Fighters. His Body is more durable as Majin Buu's. It can take the pain much longer

Piccolo has a very different regeneration than Buu, for instance Piccolo can be beaten down or to death like he almost had with Cell and he can be overpowered as seen with Nappa. He's probably more durable than any other Human but his adaption isn't as good as the Saiyans.
When he wants to regenerate he has to put thought and effort into it, he can grow limbs back and such but it takes a lot out of him and he'd pretty much take as much damage with the Kaio-Ken as the others but maybe be able to heal from it faster.
While Buu on the other hand he can regenerate from dust, literally had all his body destroyed and turned into Smoke and still came back from that, he can regenerate Infinite times with Unlimited Stamina, he can come back from absolutely anything even a single Atom or Quark or Proton, who knows how far down the regeneration can go, you literally have to erase him from existence with an overwhelming power so much that he doesn't even exist in the afterlife as a spirit and his Soul gets reincarnated.
Fat Buu had slightly weaker regeneration as seen with his fight between Kid Buu but he's still able to regenerate better than Cell with Unlimited Stamina.

But one of the most welcome. Then again I'm a bit biased considering Piccolo has to be my favorite character from DBZ.

This was always a sore spot for me since when you think about it, AT THE VERY LEAST, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and TIen SHOULD know how to use Kaioken but never show it. Goku was able to learn the technique in less than 3 months. Yamcha would have around 6 months to be able to learn it and TIen and Chiaotzu had close to a year to learn it. And then we have the 3 years of training before the Android saga began, Why didn't Goku teach the Kaioken to Piccolo, Gohan, or Krillin!? If Goku were to teach this to anybody, then he should've taught the technique to at LEAST one of them.

@@FwIdeals That really has nothing to do with what I pointed out because if you remember, Yamcha was the first one to come back to life after the Namek saga between him, Tien, and Chiaotzu. Tien and Chiatzu decided to wait for the next time the Namekian dragon balls were active to be brought back to life. Hence, why Tien and Chiaotzu had more time to train under King Kai. And this was when the Namekian Dragonballs could only resurrect one person per wish.
@@KeyMasterX It's because Toriyama and the fans in particular wanted the saiyan characters and particularly Goku to shine so everybody else was pushed to the wayside. Giving the rest of the cast Kaioken would've let them keep up with the saiyans much more and thus pulled the spotlight away from them.
Kaioken was extremely dangerous for the body. I doubt most of them would’ve been able to handle it. Piccolo should’ve been able to however so I don’t understand why he didn’t learn it.
@@uhhoh5174 If we scale Kaioken by Goku's Max (X20), then we can guess at the least, Tien could just barely reach X20 but would be in pain very quickly. Krillin and Yamcha I say would go as high as X10. Chiaotzu would be X5.
The new tournament arc was a great addition. Vegeta vs piccolo was a great part. Especially since they have never fought in the main story.
Imagine if piccolo wished his potential unlocked just like in dragon ball super superhero how strong he might be on top of all of this.

yeah but his body would get DESTROYED like ultra ego requires getting hurt to get stronger and that plus kaioken that hurts your body? sure thats alot of power but you would get heavily beaten from the dmg or maybe even die
Piccolo after Fusing with Kami had a full powerlevel of over 300 million, so if he had Kaioken, on top of his regeneration abilities, Piccolo would be unstoppable, Toriyama cant give Piccolo kaioken, ironic because Toriyama said Piccolo is his favorite character but doesnt give him that luxury at all, Toriyama writes Goku like his favorite character essentially and writes Vegeta like his least favorite character

OK now that I listened to this story again I found a few logic issues like goku and Gohan still training in the time chamber even after the enemy was defeated because at that moment of time they thought that the time chamber had limited uses and it wouldn't make sense to use it while there is no crises

ok, I've just realized something about Piccolo from this. So, if piccolo can regenerate, and you break your muscle fibres when working out, then he can theoretically get more buff than goku. Also, if Kaioken breaks your muscles and Piccolo's regeneration is on par with that rate, he should get endlessly more buff. Imagine Piccolo with biceps as big as Krillin and tell me that I haven't made many mistakes in my life to have even thought of that myself.
I think that Piccolo would’ve used this technique while being trained by King Kai during the Frieza Saga with Piccolo and the other Z Fighters being stuck in the Other World on King Kai’s Planet training under him.
Piccolo would use the technique during the battle with Frieza and be able to increase his power to quickly overcome 2nd Form Frieza with Piccolo pushing Frieza to his 3rd Form this being where the battle is fairly even until Frieza reveals his Final Form.

Piccolo must have discovered infinite energy hack. He just splits and does kaioken. Theoretically if he could do kaioken times 100 he could make 50 clones. Now that he has orange form he could make them stro ger and gigantic. An army giant oranges with God like power.

@@drodrig1 True but it increases leverage, which is why piccolo used stacked the giant form with orange god form to restrain imperfect cell max who was really big.
The problem I always had with this series is kaioken x50 piccolo should atleast be comparable to the androids seeing as piccolo was super Saiyan level in base roughly during the android saga and now you take that times 50. Unless you argue it just makes the androids stronger to make up for it

@@itsyaboyjay9862 a bit late but piccolo's power level was 165 million when he fought gero. Goku's power level was 150 million when he turned Super Saiyan on namek and when gero and 19 arrived his and Vegeta's power level were around 200 million, although Goku was weakened from the heart virus.

Tiny Picolo should be canon
You know, the ones who could use Kaioken the most are probably Majin Buu and the androids, who are both insanely physically tough. Buu in particular could go up to 100x and keep it active forever because whatever damage he sustains would regenerate fast enough to basically slow the KK's wear and tear to the point he'll have crushed whatever he's fighting like a tin can long before he can't sustain it anymore.

I like how this one is more grounded with likely possibilities then many of the other what if's I have seen

This was enjoyable, but a tad silly, lol. Piccolo fused with Kami was practically going toe to toe with Imperfect Cell. Even then, a hypothetical Kaioken x20 would have essentially rendered Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks year of training null. Semi-Perfect and Perfect Cell, let alone Super Perfect Cell would have been fodder. Come the Buu Saga, and the same principle applies. Piccolo legitimately would have been the strongest fighter in existence, even if each Saiyan was capable of tapping into, and/or mastering SSJ3. Which would be interesting to watch come Super. Beerus coming to Earth in hopes of fighting a SSJG, only to have Piccolo whip out Kaioken x100 and blow past anything any fighter prior to him was capable of. Of course by that point, God states would introduce relevance again to each Saiyan.
This video should be renamed to "why Piccolo isnt the protagonists" Bro trivialised several sagas and power crept the entire cast off having a single tech given to him. Really puts into perspective how under used some techniques are and how much wasted potential there is in the series

This was great. He clained he learned how to "amplify his power from King Kai" but yep, he never turned red and called it KaioKen. So I could definitely see this being a realistic way for things to play out.
Moral of the story? This didn't happen so the Saiyans could remain the main characters.

I find it interesting that he would "borrow" the anti gravity training room from Vegeta. Rather than just straight up ask Bulma to create one. Given Piccolo is a good teacher, she would happily make him one seeing as him being stronger would benefit the people of earth having a stronger fighter/teacher. Even with that, its more than likely Bulma also created many of them due to Vegeta possibly breaking them easily. I'm pretty sure Piccolo would also prefer to have his own than have to run into Vegeta. I am not saying he is scared of Vegeta or has problems with him. Just that Piccolo is always on his own. So it makes sense that he'd ask her.

I always wondered why Vegeta never learned kaioken, you'd think he could use it better than anyone do to his strenuous training in the gravity chamber, he is physically stronger than everyone
Honestly he prefer pure saiyan blood and its power over everything maybe that's why he didn't bother learning it, he also most likely be furious in battle which could be disadvantageous while using kaioken.
I think it's because he considers it to be goku's technique and he would rather not use it just like instant transmission.
It's a bit more complicated than that. With the native abilities of the Nameks, Piccolo has the better asset to exploit the Kaioken to its limit. Should not forget that he can make his body fit the output of the kaioken. And he has a way better regenerative capacity.

There’s a lot of strong evidence to imply that Krillen, Tien, Chaotsu, and Piccolo all know Kaio Ken, but not the spirit bomb.
The spirit bomb requires the user to be pure of heart, Kaio Ken doesn’t.
When fighting imperfect cell piccolo says he has the ability to sharply increase his power beyond his limits when attacking (sounds a lot like Kaio Ken).
On Namek against freeza Goku was using Kaio Ken x10 but never vocally said Kaio Ken to use the technique. The only time he yells out the name was when he did KKx20.
I’m pretty sure Piccolo, Krillen, Yamcha, Tien, and Choatsu all know the technique. And there’s a strong likelihood that Gohan was taught to do it by Piccolo and Goku when they trained together for 3 years to prepare for the androids.

i think that you should do what if goku trained his kaioken up to x1000. I was watching your what if goku was sent to king kais planet and heard that since he lived with King Kai he had more time to practice and master the kaioken. So then I though what if goku learned kaioken up to x1000 or maybe even more. This would leave no need for super saiyans x50 multiplier and would be interesting for the story.

I believe piccolo along with earthlings would have benefited greatly with the kaioken. if anyone can master and improve the kaioken techniques it would be. With saiyans getting so powerful with their super saiyan transformations i can see this as a motivation for piccolo and the others to keep up with them. Also with them being prodigies that became stronger than their masters at a much faster rate. I mean roshi took 50 years to develop the kamahama wave yet krilling, yamcha, tien, and piccolo managed to master it within a year or too. So i beliee piccolo and others can find way to make kaioken work somehow.

Even if it was max kaioken 100X, let him learn genki dama aswell!, so Piccolo can develop a special spirit cannon technique, or something like that. He would be able to use genki dama now that he is complete, right?

Piccolo would be over powered and limitless with Kaio-ken due his namekian healing factor... so the draw back would be mute to him.
He could honestly probably go X 200 or 300... get a bunch of technique blow back then just heal himself.
