The way android/cyborg technology is portrayed in the series seems like it has very few actual consequences. The only reason Lapis and Lazuli were upset about it was because they were unwillingly kidnapped. Unlike other bleaker stories the androids appear to be maintain their bodily senses, fertility, and emotions. It functions effectively as a wish for great strength, eternal youth, and limitless energy… Why wouldn’t you want to become an android if you could???
With these guys, warrior's pride. Unless it was done out of saving their lives or something, they'd view it as something they really haven't earned. With Tien and Chiaotzu, I suspect also it's because the blueprints would need to be modified to account for things like Tien's third eye and extra arm powers and Chiatzu's psychic abilities.
@@CountDVB I agree Tien probably wouldn’t go through with this in the actual story. His third eye and four witches technique shouldn’t be an issue tho. Four Witches is just a technique and despite the misinformation people keep spreading his third eye was something Toriyama included because both Tien and Chaotzu are based on Chinese Mysticism. The third eye was essentially a visual indication that he had attained some form of spiritual enlightenment through his study of martial arts. It communicated to the reader that he was a dangerous opponent without needing to showcase any of his actual strength.
You missed a detail, Yamcha becoming an android would absolutely kill his baseball career. No way he would pass a medical check up with his body being half metal.
Their bodies aren't half metal.. they are still about 90% biological. Hence why Android 18 can still have a child naturally. I mean their is a chance though that the energy generators and enhancements that are made to Yamcha could still be found via a physical so yes his baseball career would likely be over.

They need to introduce a show called Dragon Ball Origins with the Origins and the time skip in what these side Charecters do as like Android 8 on what he did as he has a bomb in his chest still? They need to tell is what happened to side Charecters in side story's and after dbs

I always thought of an evolution of the KIkoho where Tien would create his two extra arms and form a square with his four hands, and as per usual fires a circle ki formation.
I honestly love your work in creating these alternate scenarios and would love to see them all professionally animated by the creators of the dragon ball series
I kind of thought we were building up to a Tien and Vegeta fusion. I mean Tien could have Kai earrings since he's an apprentice of one. Not to mention that kind of fusion might be even stronger than Gogeta/Vegito since there's so many complimentary abilities there. Tien's perception, techniques, and infinite stamina combined with Vegeta's SS Blue god ki would be an incredible combo that might even overwhelm Giren. Hell between the two of them they might even be able to get ultra instinct.
Yeah I thought the only way they could win would be have Vegeta get Ultra Instinct or something like Fusion but it’s to bad he didn’t even get SSJBlue Evolved ;)
There is a What if where Salad Sayain did make Buu Win which was What if Buu won and it took to the Tournament of Power but he stopped it after that cause what if Buu won without Buu would be stupid as he's the main charecter
What i love about what ifs that power up the human characters is how much they remind us that these guys are actuall geniuses. They just had the bad luck of going against aliens, miracles of science and biochemistry and even an unkillable magical blob that never dies. When it comes to strategy, techniques, discipline and fighting sense they are the elite and a power up such as these means a ton to them.
I was really really hoping that Goku would’ve unlocked SSJ4 in Otherworld and stacked that with Kaio Ken. Having everyone go down different paths from each other would’ve been super super cool! Maybe this is an idea for a follow up series? Who knows! I just think Goku having SSJ4 would’ve been awesome in this storyline. That stacked with Kaio Ken or even God Ki would’ve been amazing!
That would have been cool but I still liked Goku using SSJGod with Kaioken. And I was wondering if he could have used SSJGod with 50x Kaioken would he have been as strong as Blue :o
Here's an idea for a what if: What If the Namekians stayed on earth. Perhaps using concepts from Dragon Ball Online could help. Like a Dark Namekian Arc: an all out civil war between non corrupted Namekians and the corrupted Dark Namekians and having the main villian be a Dark Namekian who fused with all of his fellow Dark Namekians.
I like this version of events more. The multiverse tournament as well. Honestly, DBZ has pretty much only been about winning a fight for the longest time. But seeing the bigger picture, and even though they lost to Jiren, they still succeeded in a different way. Feels refreshing.
They can't overheat tho. Android 17 and 18 were stated to be bio engineered androids, so it means there won't be them being overheated. Especially since 17 and 18 were stated to be genetically modified In not just DBZ, but also in the official Daizenshu.
And with kaioken, the androids would have it easier if anything. In the Tournament of Power, 17 kept spamming ki blasts without ever tiring or overheating which proves it. Only problem would be that despite the androids being genetically modified, of course they themselves can't last forever with kaioken bc of the amount of strain that's put into the body, but bc they're genetically modified and genetically engineered, as usual their body would have it a lot easier to adapt and break the boundaries of kaioken compared to a normal person using kaioken, and with the fact the androids would have it easier to resist the kaioken. Only problem would be the overwhelming stress of kaioken it does on a person's body and it's something that androids will have trouble with.
This is definitely a fun concept but Tien would never do this in my opinion....Yamcha probably would and Krillin is a maybe and a possible, but it would be out of character for Tien.... still this is fun as hell to imagine!
Hmmmm. Nope. Mystic gave Gohan a 500x power boost, while ssj3 gives a 400x increase. Gohan did keep up with his training, however he didn’t improve that much from it, so he is around the same point as he was at in canon after training with the Z-sword.

Vegeta has his own version and trunks his own version, and I'm fairly certain that transformations depend upon bloodline the warrior race has different transformations Royal line has different transformations as well as the half-breeds. While there are transformations that are static there are deviations depending upon that.
In all honesty... Android Krillian would be legit overpowered. He could infinitely spam Destructo Disk. He has no excuse not to do this now that his energy is infinite lol.
I think it works a little bit more reclusively than regular ki. It can be given, or forced out with the device, but it cannot simply be absorbed from the battlefield.
Thats Genki, literal life energy, the "spirit" in spirit bomb. The androids energy isnt ki, it cant be absorbed. They ARE cyborgs though, so they still have life energy (genki)
Now im curious to see what would happen if Goku and vegeta became androids of course its virtually impossible because of who they are but it would be interesting non the less

Tenshinhan has a third eye because he is a descendent of the Three-Eyed People. The Three-Eyed People are an ancient group of aliens. They are never seen in the series, but they have been mentioned in the Daizenshuu books and several other sources so tech he is alien so its not a therory its facts :))

Agreed. I like Tien but I think too much focus is put on him in this particular scenario. Yamcha or Krillen would be the ones who would either suggest the idea. Yamcha because he dated Bulma knows how genius she is and being desperate to enhance himself to catch up to Gohan and Vegeta after the Cell Games. Krillen could suggest it because he married Android 18 thus he sees all the benefits the enhancements could give them.
True Tien is the kinda guy who'll never take short cuts and wants to actually train and earn his power. Unfortunately despite all his efforts it's all for naught due to writing.

I mean is it just me or are the Humans a but underpowered here.. I mean like mentioned in the video Android 17 & 18 were regular humans when they were given enhancements meaning that powered up humans like Yamcha, Tien, and Krillen would see even greater enhancements.. plus as we learn in Super if the Androids train they can grow to almost god levels of power. 17 presumably "trains" by himself on his island reserve ever since the Cell games (7 or 8 years) and is basically equivalent to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Golden Frieza.. which as we know Goku and Vegeta both got massive power boosts from god ki. Meaning Android 17 was likely as strong as a super Saiyan god when Beerus went to earth and was possibly as strong as Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta when Frieza shows up for revenge.. making the Humans androids literally would make them pretty much OP until Super roles around especially if they trained like they did in early dragon ball z.

@@tonyblank2022 well they could but that would probably make them OP.. let's say say the humans are Androids in the Buu saga and that they are as strong as Super Saiyan Goku. a Kaioken x2 for them would bump them up to SSJ 2 levels a Kaioken x4 would bump them up to SSJ 3 levels. Both of those Kaioken multipliers are both easy to maintain and use after some training. Goku was able to boost his Kaioken abilities beyond x10 with 1 weeks worth of training so it would be safe to say the Humans as Androids would be able to use something similar and if that was the case they would be WAY too OP in the Buu Saga.. the only way for them to have Kaioken and not be OP would be to make them equal to base form Saiyans but if you do that then they are back to being irrelevant and being a Android wouldn't make a difference unless you have them unseen levels of Kaioken like x50 or x100
Only thing I think would be different than you portrayed would be that o think the humans would still have ki, whatever they had when they became androids wouldn't just disappear, and I think it would be this ki specifically, their organic ki, that would be multiplied by the kaio-ken. I don't think 17 or 18 could multiply their strength with the kaio-ken. This would still be a nice boost, it just wouldn't be insanely broken like it was in this. This was an awesome idea by the way. I really enjoyed it.
I would adore an arc where Tien kills himself with his Tribeam attack as an android... but doing so only snuffs out his organic life force, turning the once spiritual and mental fighter into a cold, ruthless machine like fighter XD

I feel like tien and vegeta's rivalry would look alot more like their TFS counterparts, but alot less hatebonerish, Tien throwing out playful jabs and vegeta responding in kind them both working to overtake eachother in one way or another, since Tiens far smarter than goku or I should say intelligent Vegeta would have alot more respect for him and vice versa, would be a good story to focus on for those 2 later down the line
I got one, What if Bulma was the one to develop cyberization tech BEFORE Gero. Think about it, Bulma is way more intelligent and can do much with little resource BUT has an excess of it so what was stopping her? Heck, she could have turned herself into a cyborg too.
Yeah maybe soon after he destroys the Red Ribbon army he gets kidnapped by Gero, I mean Kid Goku wasn’t the smartest probably could have tricked him in some way or caught him off guard.
This is good it uses the character better and for Tien transformation was pretty gold and using kia ken was awesome I always wanted this and with the android power too it really awesome good work.
One problem… why didnt bulma just modify part of them to just get stronger with that? So their ki is visible so enemies can get tricked by their weak ki…
The try beam does not use ki it uses Life energy which means it has limited uses and if Tien became a cyborg not an Android he would not be able to use it that much because his living body enhanced with robotics would still be using his life energy which would kill him

The man deserves this after the treatment he got from tobirama. Every other human got something. Yamaha got a baseball career. Krillin left training still managed to match goku and beat gohan. And he got smacked by roshi. Who was irrelevant from the start of Z.
Amazing What If loved the ending different from the others but still a great ending :D Was kinda hoping to see What If an Android fighter had their Potential Unleashed(Mystic/Ultimate) by Old Kai. They know becoming an android works on humans for sure. I imagine that since this process was developed for humans Bulma wouldn't be willing to risk killing them trying to turn the aliens into androids.
Sometimes I wonder if the education system is failing people let me educate. Android: a robot with humanistic features and sometimes organs or parts. Cyborg: a human with robotic features or parts. I hope this education doesn't fall on deaf ears.

I like this version of events more. The multiverse tournament as well. Honestly, DBZ has pretty much only been about winning a fight for the longest time. But seeing the bigger picture, and even though they lost to Jiren, they still succeeded in a different way. Feels refreshing.

If they did learn Kaioken as androids, I could see the biggest problem being their power cores overheating.
They can't overheat tho. Android 17 and 18 were stated to be bio engineered androids, so it means there won't be them being overheated. Especially since 17 and 18 were stated to be genetically modified In not just DBZ, but also in the official Daizenshu.

And with kaioken, the androids would have it easier if anything. In the Tournament of Power, 17 kept spamming ki blasts without ever tiring or overheating which proves it. Only problem would be that despite the androids being genetically modified, of course they themselves can't last forever with kaioken bc of the amount of strain that's put into the body, but bc they're genetically modified and genetically engineered, as usual their body would have it a lot easier to adapt and break the boundaries of kaioken compared to a normal person using kaioken, and with the fact the androids would have it easier to resist the kaioken. Only problem would be the overwhelming stress of kaioken it does on a person's body and it's something that androids will have trouble with.

Hmmmm. Nope. Mystic gave Gohan a 500x power boost, while ssj3 gives a 400x increase. Gohan did keep up with his training, however he didn’t improve that much from it, so he is around the same point as he was at in canon after training with the Z-sword.

Vegeta has his own version and trunks his own version, and I'm fairly certain that transformations depend upon bloodline the warrior race has different transformations Royal line has different transformations as well as the half-breeds. While there are transformations that are static there are deviations depending upon that.

The androids energy could totally be absorbed. They were able to give it to a spirit bomb, so why couldn't it be absorbed?
I think it works a little bit more reclusively than regular ki. It can be given, or forced out with the device, but it cannot simply be absorbed from the battlefield.

Krillen could suggest it because he married Android 18 thus he sees all the benefits the enhancements could give them.

I mean is it just me or are the Humans a but underpowered here.. I mean like mentioned in the video Android 17 & 18 were regular humans when they were given enhancements meaning that powered up humans like Yamcha, Tien, and Krillen would see even greater enhancements.. plus as we learn in Super if the Androids train they can grow to almost god levels of power. 17 presumably "trains" by himself on his island reserve ever since the Cell games (7 or 8 years) and is basically equivalent to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Golden Frieza.. which as we know Goku and Vegeta both got massive power boosts from god ki. Meaning Android 17 was likely as strong as a super Saiyan god when Beerus went to earth and was possibly as strong as Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta when Frieza shows up for revenge.. making the Humans androids literally would make them pretty much OP until Super roles around especially if they trained like they did in early dragon ball z.

@@tonyblank2022 well they could but that would probably make them OP.. let's say say the humans are Androids in the Buu saga and that they are as strong as Super Saiyan Goku. a Kaioken x2 for them would bump them up to SSJ 2 levels a Kaioken x4 would bump them up to SSJ 3 levels. Both of those Kaioken multipliers are both easy to maintain and use after some training. Goku was able to boost his Kaioken abilities beyond x10 with 1 weeks worth of training so it would be safe to say the Humans as Androids would be able to use something similar and if that was the case they would be WAY too OP in the Buu Saga.. the only way for them to have Kaioken and not be OP would be to make them equal to base form Saiyans but if you do that then they are back to being irrelevant and being a Android wouldn't make a difference unless you have them unseen levels of Kaioken like x50 or x100
Only thing I think would be different than you portrayed would be that o think the humans would still have ki, whatever they had when they became androids wouldn't just disappear, and I think it would be this ki specifically, their organic ki, that would be multiplied by the kaio-ken. I don't think 17 or 18 could multiply their strength with the kaio-ken. This would still be a nice boost, it just wouldn't be insanely broken like it was in this.
