You are my female hero! I found a video of a man doing this using a drill... I was like... yeah, no. I'm finding a female video and voila! Your video was 100% spot on and it worked perfectly!!! XO
Wow! I have a blouse that has snaps and it’s been in my repair basket for a couple years. Finally thought to check TH-cam and you were the first and only video I’m watching. Can’t wait to repair and wear. Thank 😢
This is genius... omg.. some metal snaps need more effort to remove, but eventually I removed around 12 of them in less than half an hour. Much appreciated!!!
Thank youuu! Such a great video! I was already on the internet looking for a special tool to buy to remove the snaps 🤦🏻♀️ Glad I reminded myself that the TH-cam is the best resource for everything! Thank you for sharing this!!!
My cheapo stapler remover bent, but I got a pair of 8" scissors with plastic handles, and did the same basic thing you did, and it worked great! The extra leverage length made it easy too!
I actually love the tool. Worth getting if you need to do adjust snaps often. Otherwise the hack should be enough to do the trick. Thanks for watching 😄
I was literally just looking up how to remove a kamsnap that had bent when applying it and wasn’t too sure the best way of doing this until I came across your tutorial and it worked like a dream so thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much!! I didn't have to ruin my wife's jacket!! I ended up using needle nose pliers cause I didn't have the staple remover but you showed me that I was on the right track!!
Wohoo! Delighted you were able to rescue a jacket. I also have a new channel if you could help me out by subscribing, I’d very much appreciate it. The channel has videos of ocean waves mixed with calming music for sleep & relaxation ☺️ youtube.com/@Todaywesaw?si=YEpJeV0SPUP0ju1v Thank you happy New Year 🎊🎉🥳
Thank you!!! I'm glad I searched, I couldn't figure out what to do. I bought plastic snap pliers, but I'm having problems getting the correct pressure. Most of my attempts don't work so far, the snaps just won't "snap" together. I guess I need more practice. Grrrr!!!! 🤔😊
Excellent, I have one of these. It'll save me using my brad nail removing pliers or having to buy a kam snap removal tool - which seems to be about £25 x
Whoop whoop. Glad it helped. Previously I was crushing the snaps with my pliers, very hit & miss. So had to share when I got something that worked much better ☺️
Yeay! Videos have slowed down due to lockdowns & school closures. But lots more videos planned. Make sure to subscribe for more. I really appreciate the support. Thanks 😊
Oh no. So sorry to hear that. I have a snap removal die & Prym pliers that work really well for me. Might be worth trying if the hack won’t work for you. amzn.to/48FawDL
Fantastic! You just helped save my garment. I put the snap on the wrong side and couldn't get them off. Whew!!
Whoop 🙌
Thrilled this helped ☺️

Thank you!! Attached my snap backwards. You saved project! Thank you!

Thank you for this! I was using a hammer and nail before, the staple remover is definitely is quicker, easier and is less damaging to the fabric.
So happy this worked for you 😀 So far it’s work on all the different snaps I’ve tried 😊
No Thank you. I was racking my brains on how to remove it without damaging my garment. Never too old to learn something new!!
Definitely never too old to learn anything new 😄

Hi,
You can get the KAM snap tool on Amazon. It’s a great tool & I highly recommend the KAM brand over the copies.

I want to take a plastic logo off my puffer jacket. Do you know how I might do that?
Oh, I’m really not sure about that. I’d approach very cautiously & make sure to not catch any fabric. Let me know how you get on.
You’re brilliant!!

Will this work on a dritz plastic snap?
I’ve not used Drizt snaps, but they look similar enough, so should work also.
Have you had a chance to try yet?

Obviously the metal snaps can’t be reused?
Hi, you’re right. It wouldn’t be possible to reuse the metal ones as they will be misshapen. Hope this video helped.
