My cheapo stapler remover bent, but I got a pair of 8" scissors with plastic handles, and did the same basic thing you did, and it worked great! The extra leverage length made it easy too!
I actually love the tool. Worth getting if you need to do adjust snaps often. Otherwise the hack should be enough to do the trick. Thanks for watching 😄

Thank you for this! I was using a hammer and nail before, the staple remover is definitely is quicker, easier and is less damaging to the fabric.
